Yes..today again I want to hug Dev for saying that. He's making up slowly for all his mistakes.
He knows communication is the most important ingredient to make your relationship strong and last longer. You have to be comfortable to talk about anything with your partner. There should be no room for awkwardness. No second thoughts how the other would think about us and our opinions, rather talk, share your perspectives.
That's what we saw even when they broke up..didn't we??
Had Dev not went after Sonakshi, had they not bumped into each other on various occasions, had they not had those meetings, those heated arguments between them, those emotional talks, there was no way...NO OTHER WAY!! That they came back into each others life.
Communication in any form is important. Talks should go on and not end..for no communication means an end.
And lack of communication leads to assumptions. (The newspaper fiasco)
Like they say, the biggest distance between two individuals is misunderstanding and these misunderstandings can be soughted out through communication between the two.
And we have ample examples between all characters to prove that.
What's more??
He's clearly showing he's not that 8 year old always. Maybe he tries to be that in front of his mom who never wants to see him grown up, which is his shortcoming.
But he truly understands how to communicate certain things
Like that moment
- Only we know what we mean to each other.
So true!! You can share about your thoughts, your feelings with your friends, your close ones but its only the two people who are in relationship who understand those feelings and emotions and what they mean to each other.
I felt Sonakshi could have started that prenup conversation with that fact that she read it in newspaper and later asked Dev about his thoughts...my expectations from sensible Sona but I give it to her. They finally managed to share their thoughts on the issue and Dev made it very clear that he is uncomfortable about the issue.

How his reaction to Sonakshi and his lawyer were so different on the same issue.
He is ok to discuss about the issue but he's certainly not ok with him and Sonakshi being a part of that issue.
The only thing I think lacked today was that he forgot to share about the prenup scene between Bijoy and Ishwari or maybe the editors did their job again!!
