Again, he is not signing the marriage register like Ishwari.

Here Bijoy wants to sign marriage register and Ishwari wants to sign divorce papers. Sometimes I wonder if they think they are getting married.

He would be rude tho as he is bitter towards them. What Ishwari said to him about Sona and Dev was outright rude implying that Sona's character is such that she is getting up to all this in the. Some of work so ofcourse he will be rude as he never got a chance to give it back to her esp now she needs her daughter! Roles have reversed so why not!!

Bijoy has been gracious enough not to lodge a police complaint against Dev for stalking his daughter 😆
Earlier he got mad at Dev when Sona used to complain about her workplace and went to talk to Dev directly, but then he saw everything and judged Dev based on his observation. His love for Sona doesn't cloud his judgements. It never did. So even today if Sona can't see her obvious dark future, Bijoy can't overlook it just because he loves Sona. Love, care, trust all are very distinct emotions. While there is a thin line between Love and Care, Trust and Respect are completely different aspects. Gradually Bijoy might start caring for Dev seeing his pitiful condition, but he can never trust Dev again with his daughter. And he has got enough proofs in his bag to do so.

He is also a straight-forward and insightful person. His reasonings and reactions are always right. Like how he mentioned once that learning cooking is not a problem, but it's the motive behind that, that he doesn't want Sona to learn cooking for anyone else except for herself or when she feels like it. Bang on 🤗

He is the best father I have seen in Teleworld till now. And Asha the best mother. And Dadi the bestest bong dadi ever 🤪

I like bijoy character .
I mean he understand Ishwari more than others bcoz she was the reason behind Rithwick proposal.
Jab bhi Ishwari or bijoy mile hai bijoy ne Ishwari main vamp ke alava kuch nahi dekha isliye woh trust nahi kar pa raha ki she is the same person jo sona or dev ke relationship ke against thi.
Now a days he act like irritating person but as a father he is playing perfect role.

Well said. I too feel that Bijoy's emotions and actions are well justified. A relationship between a father and daughter is one of the most beautiful relations in the world. It is absolutely understandable for him to want only Sona's happiness and also her being respected and loved by her in laws. That pleasure in his eyes in yesterdays episode when he watched Sona laughing and talking to Elena was an amazing scene.
His current behavior and dialogues are so apt for the present situation. His taunts to Ishwari was just perfectly said. Not offending enough for them to stand up and leave but strong enough to get his message across to them.
Time and again the Bose family has surprised us with their outlook and attitude towards every situation.
Though initially they were shown as a very happy, goofy and fun loving family, each and every member has stood out in the right manner even during difficult times. No over reactions, no unnecessary dialogues and most of all very realistic approach to each situations.
Thanks to the CV's for creating such characters and family on screen. It is a pleasure to watch them.

If every girl have a father like Bijoy , the in laws or husband or her partner would think thrice before mistreating or disrespecting her . I love the way Bijoy reacted to Ishwari and family , they well deserved it but he didn't insult them , what he said is the fact . And I agree with each and every point he conveyed yesterday . What a refreshing change from the conventional father who even pledge his self respect in order to get his daughter married 👏

Bijoy is the only one who is letting the whole situation sink in and thinking levelheadedly. The bond between him and Sona is too good.

You are right. He's the only person who is not seeing things thru the LOVE prism but realities of life. The reason for misery and failures in marriages are just bcoz people can't think rationally when LOVe is between them.

Aur jab yeh pyar ka bukhar utarta hai - toh sari ladai courts yah sadak par pahuchti hai - wase ish mata ne toh yeh future dekh hee liya hai - is liye pahle se hee apni wealth secure karne kee taiyari shuru kar dee.

Jai HO Mata -😆😆

Jai ho Bijoy😆

Hey! His behavior wasn't even a percent as bad as Ishwari's/Radha Rani's was whenever Sona's family visited Dev's. Those awful monologues that demeaned Sona, those words that sounded like Sona was being done a favor, none of them have been forgotten. And that was when Sona had done no wrong, her family was nothing but respectful and courteous. Ishwari's better-than-you-lot attitude wasn't exactly mehmaan nawaazi-ish either.

As all the replies above said, as with any father, justified bitterness is present in this case. Because Dev and his family gave him plenty of reasons. It is their job to regain his trust, not his to be all okay with everything just because he has said Yes to the alliance. It is their job to convince Bijoy that they will be as good a family for Sona as her own, not his to hide his discontent and doubt. His feelings are at the right place. The entirety of Ishwari Niwas knows that. They have been at fault. Bijoy has every right to be how he is.

(Also, the guests he had weren't very well mannered, anyway. If someone had visited my home and drank from a bottle of water they brought and talked about 'pata nahin kya kya milega' in the water I served them, I would be extremely pissed off and given it back right to them in that exact tone, AND reconsidered any future relation with them.)
