He comes across as a frustrated old man ...a child whose chocolate has been stolen from him .That's how his behavior was .Taunting your daughter's in laws and her would be husband will do no good to her .

If your concerned about your daughter's future you will either say no to their proposal or will have a mature and sensible conversation with her would be husband instead of talking non sense .If this continues no one will take him seriously

I pity him and Ishwari is a bigger player than him ...he can just talk no actions .

I am annoyed with the way he treats Saurabh. ..he hasn't reached any great heights in his career either and neither has a good retirement plan .

I found absolutely nothing wrong with his behavior today. He's a jem of a father. My father wouldn't have tolerated half as much sufferings and insults as Bijoy is taking up for the sake of his darling his princess Sona. He's too good to be real.
I totally relate to his worry.
Shame on Sona for going ahead with a relationship with out winning over her father's trust first. She's got such a great father that she can afford to take him for granted totally. It's all about Dixit family and their happiness and their approval for her.
The way she said to Dev, " Dad said a bit too much , na ?? " I wanted to slap her so hard. For me , my father's happiness and pride in me n his approval is extremely important and for that I'll work hard and make my partner work hard too if need be. But I couldn't even imagine going ahead merrily in a relationship that my father doesn't trust or is uncomfortable about .
Already Dixits have started their insult saga , and all these is Sona's fault.

Of course. Such an irritating person. He should learn something from our hot and amazing male lead who broke a girl's heart for his mother, couldn't stand up for his love, stalked her, made her life miserable, got drunk and eventually broke her engagement still got her back in his life. So nice and cute 😳

So true. I wish people see and respect their parents emotions as much as they respect their lover's emotions.
Bijoy seems to be the most realistic and strong character on the show right now. He agreed for Sona's happiness but he has his doubts and he'll always be worried about Sona because of the way the Dixits treated her. It's disappointing to see Sona reacting so normally to everything, she used to be as strong as Bijoy. Sigh.

@Bold , That too with out slightest of effort on his part and he was ok with moving on too. 😉 He was unwilling to try any more and also forbade his mom to any more. 😆

@Blue,
That sounds like every girl's dream man.
Every man's dream Son-in-law for their daughter. 😳

Wo baat alag hai ki I'd have felt outright ashamed to even ask my father to consider such a relation that he considers inappropriate for me.
If I was so much in love that I've lost all sense of family and relationships like Sona , at least I'd have worked my behind off with my prospective groom to first make my parents satisfied and convinced and proud of my decision.
On the day of my marriage my dad should feel sure that he's giving myself to some one who'll take care of me, love and respect me as much as he does.

Ill mannered and irritating Bijoy Bose. As if his daughter's engagement was cancelled just because of Dev. If Iswari is obsessive of her son he is equally possessive of Sona. Why did he say yes to Sona yesterday? If he doesn't want Dev in his daughter's life he should have said no. Now when everything is falling in place he is showing his attitude. He should ask himself a question. Will his daughter move forward without his consent? Then why is he taunting Iswari that her son won't do anything without her approval? Thanks to Asha Bose who manages this mentally retarded man with great patience.
