I totally relate to his worry.
Shame on Sona for going ahead with a relationship with out winning over her father's trust first. She's got such a great father that she can afford to take him for granted totally. It's all about Dixit family and their happiness and their approval for her.
The way she said to Dev, " Dad said a bit too much , na ?? " I wanted to slap her so hard. For me , my father's happiness and pride in me n his approval is extremely important and for that I'll work hard and make my partner work hard too if need be. But I couldn't even imagine going ahead merrily in a relationship that my father doesn't trust or is uncomfortable about .
Already Dixits have started their insult saga , and all these is Sona's fault.

Rightly said. I felt like Sona what happened to you . Learn from Dev he never said or agreed whatever his mother has done to sona or her family was wrong.
How can Bijoy accept the family or man so easily who has hurt and insulted his daughter and his own family. Just bcos the great Eashwari and her great son wished or changed their mind does Sona's family fall at their feet? I don't know why are they rushing? I am not against Devakshi but I wanted some breathing time to set everything right. Has Dev given enough time to think where and what went wrong? What if the same situation arise again him to choose between mom and sona? Why Sona behaves like emotional fool?

Honestly Asha is behaving like such a despo nowadays , as if Sona mein koi khott hai πŸ€“( her only khot is her weakening love for Dev , which has washed out her entire self -respect and personality ) and she's in a big hurry to bid her bye and marry her off . What is the problem if her husband wants to marry off Sona after 6 months ?? πŸ˜• Is Sona going to be over her marriagable age within 6 months ?? πŸ˜• Or is she subconsciously terrified that her ladla would-be damaad would dump her once again if Ishwari changes her mind in these 6 months ?? πŸ˜‰ πŸ˜†
So , she's not a wife who cares a damn about how rightfully worried and upset and agitated her husband is ,absolutely no respect for his wishes in fact openly speaking against him in front of Dixits, πŸ‘ŽπŸΌ but just a mother who cares about her daughter's happiness , where there's absolutely no realistic reason or logic to think Sona's happiness is secured in that hell house, in fact the way GKB and Ishwari behaved today at their house , it's just a premonition of upcoming days ! πŸ˜†
So glad when Asha got a big BKT when Ishwari and GKB flat out refused her hard cooked veg lunch with a very transparent excuse. πŸ˜ƒ That should either teach her a lesson , or she'd slowly get used to regular insults the way her daughter has. πŸ˜‰

@Blue,
That sounds like every girl's dream man.
Every man's dream Son-in-law for their daughter. 😳

Wo baat alag hai ki I'd have felt outright ashamed to even ask my father to consider such a relation that he considers inappropriate for me.
If I was so much in love that I've lost all sense of family and relationships like Sona , at least I'd have worked my behind off with my prospective groom to first make my parents satisfied and convinced and proud of my decision.
On the day of my marriage my dad should feel sure that he's giving myself to some one who'll take care of me, love and respect me as much as he does.

Exactly! I'm all in for love marriages and stuff but not at the cost of my parents self respect. I don't understand this concept of forgetting the lifelong love of your parents for someone who knows you for like a couple of years. Yes it's good that people fall in love, choose a partner for themselves but they should also take their parents into consideration. If your partner fails to respect your parents or comes off as a wrong choice to them then you should really reconsider or atleast rethink about going ahead with him. Just my POV.

You BET ! Like I said earlier as well, it's because Sona doesn't take her family seriously, everyone, starts from Dev to GKB gets to take Bose's lightly.. It's pathetic to see Sona defending Dev and saying Bijoy did too much. 🀒 Can he or Sona LOGICALLY put their points ahead on WHY they are right and Baba is wrong ? Absolutely worthless records they both have. Yet Sona has the audacity to say this instead of defending Baba..

I don't mind now if she gets insulted in Dixit house again and again, which obviously will happen πŸ˜› She has asked for it. Had it not been for Sona, Bijoy would have thrown such uncultured GKB out of his home long back. Kudos to him. But as a child it's our responsibility to see that your parents are treated rightly by your in-laws.. Sona πŸ₯±

Especially when for Dev he'd rather break up and break Sona's heart a thousand times over hurting his mother , his family is always his top most priority and Sona always an option.
But Sona , she's just polar opposite , absolutely no regards for the rightful worry and agitation n respect of the person who's been n who'll remain by her side with out a fail and with out any condition or expectation all her life. I wish she'd got a psycho dad like ishwari, instead of the world's best father that is Bijoy, would've taught her a much needed lesson about how wrong it is to take nice things for granted. πŸ˜ƒ

@Annapaquin

Did you not know that two separate set of rules apply one if it is the HERO and another if it is the HEROINE?
This much I was able to deduce after watching 140+ episodes.
So of course Bijoy should not act like this because after all the Great Easwari has decided to confer the title of bahu to Sona what more should his daughter need..respect, love bah humbug!

What is wrong with what Bijoy did ?? He did exactly what a progressive father would do... HE just expressed all his concerns and didnot bend down just to get his daughter married...

HE is a proud father who doesnt think his daughter is a bhoj and he needs to send her away asap to sasural...

I am proud of him for what he did today

If your concerned about your daughter's future you will either say no to their proposal or will have a mature and sensible conversation with her would be husband instead of talking non sense .If this continues no one will take him seriously

I pity him and Ishwari is a bigger player than him ...he can just talk no actions .

I am annoyed with the way he treats Saurabh. ..he hasn't reached any great heights in his career either and neither has a good retirement plan .

@bold.. if they cant hear the taunts or truths or concerns he spoke ... then it is better off they break the rishta... Bijoy wants his daughter to be happy and not suffocate in such an environment where people cant express

Taunt and truth are two different thing. No one has the right to taunt people all their life .Mistakes happens and when the person realises it you have to let it go .If one cannot then it's better you don't associate with them .If one wants to associate with the same people after everything then he doesn't have the right to taunt .He is just spoiling the environment and creating tense moments which is uncalled for

People can express in different ways ...Taunt is the not the way of expressing your opnions it's way of mocking people .These taunts are not helping his daughter''s future .

From what we see Bijoy is not happy with the Rishta so it's better he calls off before he spoils it for everyone .

He will be another male RR who is known for talking nonsense most of the time and her valid concerns are ignored by people .

All their life? Give the man a break... Ishwari and Dev just created sooo much havoc on Bose family, gave so much pain and hurt to his daughter..give him a couple of days to cool down. RR behaved totally like what Bijoy fears!
