I too made a separate post...shall just paste some of the comments here

After Sona's baba agreed for the proposal, what was the rush to show Saurav calling Dev. It looked like Saurav is Dev's best buddy and all thru the break up was updating Dev on every move. It was so unrealistic. Would have loved to see Asha maa informing Ishwari abt Sona and her baba approving the proposal. And then probably Dev and Sona have a phone convo or meeting with a little bit of awkwardness initially. But then their emotions, feelings and passion for each other which was building up all through the break up phase would break that awkwardness into a passionate hug. May be a nice adult convo between the two after that hug would be so welcomed.
But again breaking all KRPKAB rules, Dev reaches Sona's house within a minute of Saurav calling him. And then follows it with a proposal at a total different location. The makers have always expected and have been successful in getting a clever audience to watching this show. But were they expecting us to keep our BRAIN aside today? I mean SERIOUSLY!!!

Yeah!!!! Pretty good post
Welcome to the club
For all I know the uniqueness factor that was the theme of the show is kinda lost and the show became a poor interpretation of those saas-bahu repetitive shows..
The few things about the characters really worry me now...
Dev's lack of words specially sorry, where is Sona's stubbornness she came off as a hell lot stubborn character but now she gave in way to easily...Dev hasn't learnt a thing from his mistakes
And Ish I don't even know what to expect from her..
This show was really an inspiration for me ,i used to write a lot on and about the show but now it simply fails to do so

^^ Agreed. I don't understand why they're rushing up things so much, as if they're going off air and they need wrap it all up within deadline. I have read your post and completely loved it. The precap showed Dev in Bose house tomorrow, I'm guessing he's going to apologise tomorrow. But everything is just half-baked these days, not sure how convincing the episodes will be from here on.🤔

May be bcoz our show is finite

I have never heard of the show being finite and there's isn't any confirmation anywhere either.

Let me copy paste my reply from Anna's post 😆
General feeling from my side :
After fangirling over couple's chemistry over the years, right now I have reached stage where storytelling and character growth matters more to me. More than Sharica chemistry, Dev-Sona's equation and character sketch attracted me to this show. I felt bad for Dev during Sona's accident track. I was heartbroken during Natasha track. I was on cloud 9 during their confession track. But today when I am seeing this couple objectively, I can't feel the joy for Devakshi Reunion, because I didn't feel their shallow pain of separation in last 1 month. Separation is not just a track or phase, it enriches a person from inside, it grows a child into a man, makes a girl a woman, it teaches you some lifetime lessons, introspections, makes clarity on what you really want, introduces you to your self-worth. And all the above realization makes people better and more fit for each other if they survive through this.

Where from this separation I expected Dev becoming a man and learning to value Sona, starting to see things outside him and his mother's little world, I expected Sona to really consider if she really wanted to continue with such unhealthy Mommy-Son relationship or if this is what she really wants despite the deep-rooted love. But NO. Dev didn't grow up one ounce, in fact it went worse, he went to the path of stalking the girl, harassing a man and manipulating with his career. On the other hand, we have Sona who seem to have forgiven Dev's brutal breakup and running-away nature in a split of second, the only obstacle she claims to have is from her parents, but she herself has no objection against all these. Asha played instrumental role in convincing her, and she got convinced in 1 scene ? 😳 Dev became a man with own personality because he didn't elope with her ? From 'How can you support him Maa' to the very next scene 'Daddy won't agree' ?

There has been no transformation in their story, no new colors to their love, no new realization about their ownselves. And thus today we have a shallow reunion where both of them seem to start off from where they exactly left each other. They had JUST love for each other, with no amount of understanding, respect and faith.. And today they are back to where they were - PURE love with no understanding, faith and trust.. This whole 1 month had been a waste to their love-story in my eyes. They fell and fell further.

And needless to say, of course this brings a HUGE disappointment in my eyes. Today when Sona was answering back to GKB, if happened earlier I would have gone lalala and made 1000 posts praising Sona, but both the leads fell so low in their love that now it doesn't even feel great to see Sona standing up for herself. She didn't stand up for herself where it mattered the most. What's the point of doing this with the likes of GKB and Vicky ? In fact I am not sure if I will feel bad when Sona will be insulted again by Ishwari and Dev will not stand by her in near future. She asked for it herself. Sad but true 💔

You have summed it up so rightly, especially the parts I highlighted in bold. Like you, I too was content with the way the story and the characters were shaping up until the break up track. Like I said in my main post, they failed so badly at the execution of the break up track (I did feel bad for both Dev and Sona) that this reunion whether as an after-element of the break up track or as a stand alone patch-up track felt so bland. Clearly, both Dev and Sona haven't learnt their lessons fully yet. Felt more disappointed in Sona because she seemed to be introspecting during her break-up-to-engagement phase and out no where, rather quickly, a complete 360 degree turn. AndDev? Usse toh koi umeed hi nahi hai. 😆

That scene where she's sarcastically responds to GKB was a indeed a funny one 😆 but then as you pointed out, it doesn't really make a difference.

Arre, don't you know? Saurav was there to help Dev out of this devdas mode. They bonded on food, cricket and his online shopping business. Best buddies, indeed. 😆

May be, we should send Dev back to school again? Please, sorry, thank you, he needs a revision in all these lessons. 😆

@anni..We should definitely consider him sending back to school...
What is the purpose of the separation track,if the characters have to come back to square one...I thought the separation track was to develop a character into something deep and meaningful but no we are back to that cheesy romance phase...Flowers, chocolates and unicorns
