I will not blame completely Dev for Sona's engagement fiasco.

Yes, Dev did requested Sona that he wanted to attend her engagement. I didn't understand why she agreed for that. Okay, Sona agreed because this will help him to move on as Dev said. But after newspaper fiasco, she called him for her engagement. That is a idiotic move from Sona.

Also, did she ask anyone before calling Dev for the engagement? She didn't ask her fianc, family also her cousin. Her mom came know because she heard her chatting with Elena.

Yes, whatever Dev did was utterly atrocious and stupid. He couldn't control seeing his dear Sona became someone's. Someone else's. He shouldn't have attended the function. I don't understand why he wanted to attend her engagement. He would have met her before engagement outside.

But her fleeing from her engagement and taking care of Dev and dropping him to his house. That was Sona's call. No one forced her to do that. I will blame their love here. Sona's love for Dev was so avid, her brain overpowered her heart.

So if you want to find someone at fault, then I blame both Sona and Dev for this or I will not blame anyone just. . . their love.

Sona was at fault for breaking her own engagement. Dev drank n passed out. Dev was wrong, he did create a scene but It was Sona who left Ritwick n ran to help Dev. If she wanted to continue with the engagement, she could have done it. Dev broke his promise of not controlling his actions, but Sona broke her own engagement which resulted in her family's insults. Now Sona can't blame Dev alone...he never asked her to drop him home...but she did it bcoz she still loved him and can't see him suffering. It was exactly similar to the breakup scene when Dev blamed their relationship for Ish's condition n here Sona blamed Dev for breaking her engagement.

I just loved today's scene but felt Sona cud have blamed their relationship, that bcoz she loved him her family had to go thru so much humiliation.

well said.. had she said it that would have been an adult mature person talking.

But I don't want to put the entire blame of engagement drama and no engagement on Dev.

Everyone needs to take responsibility of their act and so I feel the Bose family is not right in blaming the bewda alone. 😆

Elena blamed Dev yesterday, dada blamed Dev, and today even Sona put the entire blame on Dev.

Wasn't Sona equally responsible for what happened? Her reaction to Dev's action was actually responsible in that entire scene ..
Had she not run to see him when he fell and someone wud hv dropped him bak to his house with Sona continuing with her engagement, things won't have been the same Acc to me.

Infact, she shud even take full responsibility of implementing to Dev's request of calling him for the engagement

What Your opinion??

I too won't agree dev alone is responsible for the fiasco

Engagement Fiasco I would give it to Sona to a large extent..

1) She was still in love with Dev and still went ahead with the thought of getting married to another man.
2) She wanted to move on so she decided to get engaged to Mr. R and that too when she hadnt gotten over Dev
3) When she had decided to move on...why did she go to Dev's office when Tina called ? Yes , I understand she "still " felt for him...but I feel she should have controlled her emotions towards him and told Tina to inform his family and not her
4) Why did she invite Dev to the engagement...her logic was for Dev to help find a closure of their relationship...why does she even bother when she plans to move on...
5) She ...all through out had only eyes for Dev and not the man she was going to get married.
6) When he fell unconscious , she could have told one of them to drop him home or Called his family...why did she run from there...

In short I felt she did this because somewhere in her heart she wanted Dev to stand up for her and claim her ...by fighting all odds ...

PS : Not justifying Dev's act of getting drunk and creating a scene...I know love is blind and all logic fails too...but if some one has to be blamed for the situation logically thinking major part Sona is responsible

I missed yesterdays episode and have just seen todays repeat...
Sona's anger and her saying that where is she in all this is a good thing...
But shifting the whole blame on Dev for the engagement fiasco is just shifting the blame to him...
Everybody in Sona's house is blaming her the fiasco...Baba very well said why shud she call that drunkard in the first place...Sona,Elena and now Dada of all people is also blaming Dev...if only Sona acted a bit matured and not rushed into committment this full mess wouldnt have happened...
But as rightly said we trying judging others rather than correcting our mistakes and taking responsibility for the same...
