The way current scenario is where as you said Dev is in a manaofying mode and Sona on a rejecting spree.

So basically it is like Sona too wants him like anything but is holding her emotions back.

So I really really want some intense and passionate romantic scenes, where they'll come close by a matter of fact, a little awkwardness and lots and lots of passion.

It can be something like Sona isn't getting any means to go back home after work and the weather is bad plus late night it is. Dev gets to know this as he had come to that place for some.work, he asks Sona to get into the car and that he'll drop her home. Sona being herself will say a hundred things to him and say no. But that day Dev won't listen to her and insist her to be into the car, keeping her anger and ego aside as it isn't the right place and time to show it and that it is already late and she shouldn't be here at this time of the hour as it isn't safe.

Somehow she'll be convinced to go with him but his car gives up due to some fault and it is already raining heavily outside.

And there should be this scene where sitting in the car, Dev forwards for picking up something which was kept on her side and they realize how close they've come. An intense eye lock. Both of them would be drowning in the moment and the intimacy but would soon realize what they were going to do and an awkward silence would come upon.
