All i am saying is please care for the feeling of the forum wasis as much as you care of Rithik or other fictional characters...

PS: I agree natasha and rithik are extremely good characters and would never bash them.. though i would wish they disappear from the show as they are the third angle... Dev , Sona and Ishwari are in this situation only and only because they dont know how to handle the relationships... They are not Cruel or bad people who cant be redeemed... I believe including Ishwari all the characters can be redeemed... including GKB and Vicky...given chance and circumstances

Well whatever your POV for the show i can understand and respect as well.

@ TM over here is criticizing almost every character, content and what not is going now over here. It is almost like I don't like YHM but will make a post and criticize each and every character stating this is my different POV. Yes I have used gifs instead of writing long essays , but Did I cross line of respect? Did I get personal ? Did I comment which is hurtful ? Well that is my way of expressing my pov. Although I hardly see you over here, so let me tell you I have myself criticize Dev character in many posts . So no one can tag me - blind fan or whatever - am sure regular members knows me this much.

Hopefully you will stick to content/character of the show only instead of getting personal about anyone. I am deeply hurt by your post more than anything else. Not expected this from you.

The snarking gif that was posted looked like a mocking one esp the line "because of this post forum activity will increase and forum be number one "... It came across as directly making fun of TM's post and the POV also devaluing the opinion completely . If gifs intention was not that then my bad I am Sorry , but for me it looked like that .

Yes I have not been regular member of the forum so I have no idea abt the regular member's opinions too but not being part of this forum can be coz I can't handle being part of no of forums at the same time . But I have discussed this show numerous time in Bollywood forum land is also a regular TRP member .
I was waiting to see Ishwari's insecurity angle also probably may be I never posted here coz Devakshi was never my game ... But never had issues with them either until now when the story went completely haywire and I felt I should voice out my opinion . I din't knew the Forum has a rule that members who are not regular cannot post .. My bad again , this will be last post then .
But again not everyone who post first time here can be assumed as not a regular with show or not having iota of knowledge abt show and the characters .

I was not being personal ... I felt that instead of having a debate or trying to show TM how she is wrong in understanding the characters as members claim to understand...they were Mocking the members with LOLing or making gifs or simply calling haters or ignorant abt the show .

Since you mentioned YHM , in the same way my views were mocked there either by saying leave watching the show or similar snarking gifs were posted and opinions devalued . So may be not for me a "non-regular" member , members who post here regularly at least their pov's can be respected.

Anyways sorry for disappointing you ...

I have been a member of this forum for a long time, and no one can stop you from a criticism of a show. If they do, ignore and continue on , bcoz that's why this forum was made, to talk pro and cons of a show you watch.

Ishwari is creepy AF!! I would understand a mother's insecurities or partly obsessed nature, but this woman is on a total diff level.😆 so diff I find it hilarious abhi ke liye. She apparently reads her son so well yet cant fig out he's hopelessly in lou with sona ?? She has had her brother spoon feed her the situation yet she pretends to ignore n thinks he's busy with work n yeda yeda. 👏 Even the daughter who is married spelled out the situation to her. Needs help IMO.

I will never ever understand the concept of love which makes me blind towards my parents' respect. I can take their love for granted at times, but never their honor specially in front of society.

I feel awful seeing the destruction of Sona's character. Both remaining blind to Rithwik's feelings and being self-absorbed were so out of her character. Sona couldn't help Dev to make him want to be a better person, but Dev successfully pulled her down to his level where one can't see things beyond I, Me, Myself. She truly 'fell' in love 👎🏼

Dev's tamasha was horrible. The Mahaepisode was aired with an image of angry Dev who is not Devdas, but all the crying, helpless feelings crap etc - can someone plz explain me how those were not Devdas-like ? In reality if one truly loves someone, he/she would always care for the honor of the other's family. Look at Dev ! After drinking so much he had the audacity to show upto Ritakshi's place again ! He cant go in front of Ishwari while drunk, but he can go in front of Bose Parents while being THIS drunk ?

Amidst all these, I just feel sad for the Bose Family who had been nothing but the BEST in this show. They dont deserve this at all. Nothing is going as per the way I wanted it to. I wanted Sona to be angry at Dev about he treated her and her family. But now it seems Bose family will give hard time to Sona which in turn will be flowed down to Dev. Even from Sona's side, the realization will not come on her own. This is so not how I wanted it to be.

Nothing much is left for me in the show to see except for Devakshi chemistry 🤔

The characters are not in sync with what they were in the initial episodes. Yes people change and maybe they want to show character graph but here its going in the decline.

Its a fiction but I still can't tolerate Dev's actions. Stalking, ruining someones career whom you might have not even met once in your life but just because that person is linked to your ex you ruin him, spoil someones date. What kind of person would ever do that, if they do then seriously they have issues. Its not normal at all.

Sonakshi- Love cannot make someone so blind that their families self-respect takes a backseat. Girl you lack self respect. You don't respect the relationship you are entering, you don't respect your parents feelings, you are plain stupid at this point.

Ishwari- the kind of mother we see in real life too. the controlling and over possessive type but she is unhealthy for her son. Her love is like a slow poison which will kill Dev slowly and thats what she has done to him now.

Overall the CV's need to understand what they want. I don't think they are even sure where the story is going right now. Its all over the place.

I've mixed feeling about today's ME. Shaheer was phenomenal and editing directing dialog writing camera work and of course the acting n mutual chemistry of the leads were off the charts beautiful and beyond gorgeous. It completely gave me the feeling that I'm watching a movie and just a tv show.

Absolutely loved loved loved the camera work and back ground music . The dance sequence with Ae dil hai muskil was breath taking. I'd goosebumps watching Shaheer's expressions throught out the ME, he literally stole the show.

Several other little things I liked , how Dev completely disregarded Ishwari's wish and went to Sona's engagement. It's a slap on Ishwari's face , that can not be denied.

Also , Dev apologized to Ritz .

And also to Sona in that letter. I've a feeling Sona might get to read that letter in tomorrow's episode and also that Ishwari also might get to read that letter .

Sona disappointed me very very much . Her character is taking a downward curve definitely. I'd rather jump from a cliff happily than even think about putting my parents ( n here she has a pair of extremely protective supportive caring n loving parents and she totally takes them for granted. ) and family through the shame n humiliation in front of entire world , the way Sona did today.

Also it was extremely crash on her part how she treated Ritz before during and after the failed-engagement. If you're not interested just say it and cancel the engagement , what was the need for such a fiasco ?? ( solely for the sake of drama I guess. ) It's as if she's doing a favor on Rit by getting engaged to him.

She proved she's become Dev's fitting partner in crime, totally blind n selfish in love. NO point glorifying the collateral damage she caused in the name of epic love !

No amount of n kind of love gives her any right to take Rit n his family, n her own family for a ride.

Some how both the characters got butchered , but Sona much more than Dev. Dev at least was struggling to keep his promise, but seeing Sona again n again in Rit's arms totally drained his already poor resolve . HE was not a strong person emotionally, n he knows and admits it openly.

But Sonakshi's behavior today is unforgivable.

As i said before , if what Dev did today was his deewangi in love then why are people here hating Ishwari, what she did was her deewangi in her love for her son...how is it that mom gets all the hatred and beta gets away with it when both their action are almost identical.

Sona, what she did wasn't acceptable to me at all. She brought a family ( Rithwik's family) to the ceremony and left them high and dry, left her own parents high and dry...

she was the one who agreed to the engagement inspite of so many chances given to her , asking her several times whether she wants to go ahead with it...

So while Dev ruins a persons career and professional life, sonakshi puts the same guy and their family to shame , all this in the name of love, how can this even be lauded.

My question still remains, if Dev's Devdas love and deewangi is all fair in love and war and emotions cannot be controlled etc etc, then why the hatred for Ishwari when the same is applicable to her love for her son?.

@Mayu1982- I actually posted when this forum was dead. Love story was not what I was intrigued by but the Ishwari angle. And given how awesome SP is , I was in for it. I had problems with Dev and Sona then too. Specifically how they made Sona super gullible then and how Dev was crossing the line as an employer. Red flag but that was not my game.

Firstly i am a firm believer that anybody who has invested in the show has a fair right to criticise it, and i may not have been a regular visitor to the forum but have made na effort to come and post whenever i was super impressed .. which was the proposal .. so me and everybody else gets the right to comment when they DONT like something .. and if the die hard fans find someone trying to SPOIL your forum and romantic bubble by negativity then try to answer logically, with examples from the show - saying plainly "our devaskhi are not perfect and if u want a [perfect love story than watch something else". Seriously? Devaskhi are not perfect is the ONLY argument i have come across. Whch love story has EVER been perfect on television, films or books? NONE. Everybody has thier flaws so i guess people need to understand that Devaskahi are not the only ones been NOT perfect. I have been a fan girl myself i can understand how glaring errors seem nothing but try to answer logically so we have a discussion instead of throwing the person with an opposite reaction out of the forum.

Secondly on the episode - RUINING OF THE CHARACTERS is the only thing i can say.

Dev Dixit is a person who grew up in extreme poverty, build up a status for his family and is now going to get drunk on his ex girl friend's engagement party? I get he is NOT perfect and he is too much in love with Sonakshi but the character needs to stay realistic, this person will outrageously risk his reputation because he is unable to control his feelings? Werent they suppose to be mature lovers? A person who took sona to all the important places of is childhood and said he loves her like a man loves a woman? and very sweetly used to end fights with, "gift lena hai k larayi karni hai?'

And Sona is another dissappoinment. I was super pissed at the office scene saying, i will come back to you if you want to marry me? Hello girl! Are u in ur senses? and also .. plaving his head on her lap .. mujh se dekha nai jata hai ye sab .. putting ur parents thru utter humiliation .. what kind of a girl are they showing her to be? She was firm to question him in the hospital k apni maa se poch k wada kiya tha kya? .. and from that onwards .. its been a downhill!

This OTT break up drama has been a major put off! The writers turned it into a complete filmy story with the Sujal grewal OTTness which is indigestable! On top of that Shaheer is a weak actor. He somehow managed the earlier simple in love sweet hardworking persona but now i feel his eyes are gonna pop out. I have no idea why CVs are ruining the show and the lead couple by giving them situations they CANNOT emote.

CVs should seriously cut down on the filminess and try to remain real and relatable to the characters they created.

Also, please no offence but ADHM titke track rendition was the WORST part of the episode. The expressions, the dancing everything was SO out of place! God ..

and on the plus point, Sona looked GORGEOUS! A typical bengali beauty! ❤️
