Constructive Criticism

At Work, we are required to take a separate course on how to provide effective feedback during Mid year and year end discussions with our direct reports..

I think the same can be applied to this forum... just want to share some thoughts on how to provide a good feedback (even if it is not positive feedback).. apply it to your posts or ignore it - your wish...

we are all here on this forum because we watch this show on a regular basis and would like to share our views and expectations...haters of the show dont come and regularly post here... they may do once but not regularly... so ignore them...

For all those who want to provide critical feedback... please see if you can mix some positve feedback while you are providing negative feedback...

point is if the entire post is just negative and is ignoring all the positive aspects of the episode or show then it is most likely to cause a lot of agitation in the forum --- again you dont have to care what others on the forum think or if your post can cause agitation ... but it is just a request to care of fellow forum members..

Now a days Dev is being spineless... yes ... but if you add a sentence like we know he was great and very nice when his mom did not enter the picture... not he doesnt know what he is doing... or even adding a comment that regardless Shaheer acted reallly good in that scene... would really neutralize the negativity and put it forward as what you like and what you didnt like in that episode...

Sam applies to Erica or Ishwari... we know these two are also flawed and have some serious problems... but if you add that you really appreciate how the actors are portraying the characters or instead of saying they are dumb spineless etc... if you mention how you could have handled this if you were CVS... that would also help neutralize the feelings by the time we finish reading the post...

Again ... i am sure everyone is an adult and would appreciate if you care about fellow forumwaasis as much as you care about the characters themselves... unknowingly you end up hurting people with your words... this is just a request and not a rule... so please ignore it if you dont like it...

Dont get too personal .. Just express your views - positive or negative feedback is good for the show.. We should worry when there is no feedback from anyone..
I also want to tell forumwasis to ignore or not respond if u dont like the content instead of bashing the TM. Please understand that you are actually bashing a real person for speaking something against a fictional character.. Which is not right thing to do..
Lets all accept that this is a fictional show and characters and lets not take anything personal. Just sit back and enjoy the show..it is the story of cvs and all we can do is comment on it .. We cant change their story even if we want to.. So relax and take it easy

Agree with u dear...if u r reallyregular viewer of show to alteast u should appreciate actors hard work...and also use a decent words in ur negative post...so it doesnt hurt any one

No one is hater here, they just have different opinion, and different way to express it.

They are not here... but beleive me once in a while on or two come and just make one extremely baseless negative post and just disappear... never respond to the comments etc...

Those people have only one intention -- to create agitation ad hurt as many people as possible...Their hatred towards the show could be due to any reason - competition between actors... or shows etc...

I am just asking to ignore those posts and not respond if you dont get response to your comments...

wonder if the forum will ever become free from the clutches of insensitivity and crass criticism that it has been facing lately. It is so sad. . Makes me wary of coming in the forum everyday like I used to do earlier. I am sure all of us are fed up here, atleast some of us are.

I am sure all those posts ... where we are infact receiving responses from TM for our comments are purely critical and not bashing just for the sake of it...

so this post is for those people who wasn't to criticize with all good intentions of getting better episode in future or to vent out...

we have some very critical people on this forum... who have strong views and sometime use strong words as well... it is totally ok... and it is up to them how they want to put their mind in front of people... all i am asking is to be considerate of others on the forums (they can ignore this request completely ... i will be totally OK with it)...

But what about the Rithwik Zoo Posts, Dev to slap Rithwik (For what ???) or Run Rithwik Run Dev is coming etc posts or posts on his Do Tarah Ke Log etc ? Because he has a trademark/signature line and he is not handsome, what's there to mock ? He says it to light the environment down or to cheer someone up, is that ever mentioned anywhere around ?

From no angle I can categorize those above posts as Constructive Criticism, they are not even Criticism, it has no point, just bashing/mocking. At least posts against Dev/Sona has some points and discussions in it, harsh or mellow. Sometimes (actually everyone) this harsh posts against Dev/Sona mentions about Shaheer and Erica's acting, Devakshi Chemistry, but posts against Rithwik never mention Jay Soni's acting or his chemistry with his fiance is mocked as chemistry of brother sister etc.

I dont get this hypocrisy sorry. 🤓 The critics are giving space to the shippers and don't post much in their lovey-dovey posts or bashing-Rithwik posts, so why can't critics demand their own space as well ? And above all, I think whoever has invested even 5 mins of their life even for reading the WU, has right to express their sentiments in whichever way possible unless it's out of IF COC. Let's agree to disagree 😃

I dont support those posts either. unless .. if it is made as a fun post... mentioning that the post is for fun only...
I dont appreciate the comments made on Rithiks looks or height... this post applies to all criticism ( dev, sona, ishwari, rithik etc)...

i feel sorry for both Natasha and rithik - these are good people who got stuck in messy situations created by the leads...
