I think this scene was necessary for Bijoy to know that Ishwari sent ritwick rista to their house.

aww.. never thought about this angle, but you make the most sense in what is behind all this. I am veering around to the thought that the LEKIN was referring to dowry... which Ishwari must have paid.. this will be interesting...

i think there is more to it than meets the eye.. i like what lavanya commented - that there could be dowry involved and Ishwari may have paid for that too. There is more drama to come.. if there is a dowry, i hope that Dev finds out about it first, and even if it is a drunken state, blast the hell out of his delusional mother..

BTW, Mr Bose and Ishwari are now the two biggests irritating people in the show.. their characters have been etched like that.

Also Ishwari stopped Match maker when he was about to say something about Ritik while showing her d hritik's profile.,She stopped and refused to listen after 'Lekin'

Waise bhi Ritik's father usually play negative character in crime patrol..I am sure there s much more to this family which is yet to come out..

Two things could be the reason 1) she was worried abt the statement that Bijoy said "thank god in place of your son you choose a boy for my girl who is in search of a life partner and not a boy wants to bring a DIL home "

She has it in the back of her mind that this whole issue is not over and she might have to meet them/her again...and when he said we should never meet again... she feared what if she had to...then how would she face them again.

Dowry ?? !! wow ...never thought of it that ...but in that case why would Mr. R take loan from the bank for setting up his clinic...he could have easily got the money rt ? He was very worried when the loan got cancelled.

I always felt there was something abt them that has to do with finance. We dont know much abt them.

I felt yesterday they came back seeing the apology note in the news paper...but gave all the credit to Mr. R by saying he explained the situation to him etc...and some how I am not able to accept that Mr.R completely...probably I am being partial to Dev.

Personally I feel that meeting betwn the two might have something to do with future episodes...and Ishwari accepting that she is the one who sent the proposal is going to be crucial ...I feel that is going to back fire on Ishwari...it has already thru Dev to some extend...

The plot is thickening I feel...getting multilayered ...

bijoy is overreacting, feels like he will collapse or faint due to nervous contraction, asha bose and saurav seem to be balanced in this show though sona is also dear to them,

bijoy got gud choking frm ishwari and ishwari also got enlightnment from bijoy

These two ppl and their affection for their kids especially the eldest ones are more on to the obsessive side. Both of them are so scared of letting them go. Bijoy acts as if he is ok with Mr. R because as of now he is wanting to prove that his daughter has no affection for Dev and she is strong to move on with another man.

Ishwari is also on the same page...she also states the same thing abt her Son.

What they dont understand is the more they tighten the grip around the kids they will feel the pressure and would want to break free...

Even a baby in the womb who is connected to his/her mother through umbilical cord will move ONLY when he/she wants to do so. If we try to press the stomach of the mother and make them move there will be discomfort for mother and the baby in the womb...

So imagine the present situation of Dev and Sona...how can these parents expect matured individuals to behave exactly the way they want with out hurting them??

I dont see any diff in Ishwari and Bijoy ...I think in one of my previous posts I had written , how bad it can be for a guy who ends up with an over obsessive father in law...I pity Dev !!

I think it's to show us that neither parent wants to cross paths with each other EVER again. Bijoy said it to Ishwari to her face and later Ishwari said the same to her brother.

But they would be forced to do more than cross paths, wouldn't they?? Fate has a way of giving us things that we want to stay away from.
