Omg, your post sums up my thoughts exactly. I don't understand why everyone is after Ritwick. God forbid he speak up for his fiance!

Why do people get so sensitive and offended when someone critiques Dev's character? It doesn't take more than a brain to know that Dev is obviously hugely flawed (just imagine your ex behaving like him) Just because he is the male lead doesn't mean we should ignore these flaws.

Update: Dev has killed all of Sonakshi's family. But it doesn't matter because he's the male lead and DevAkshi will be end game. 🤪

Just one question - if one goes by the spoilers Ishwari will give permission for Dev Sona marriage and in fact would beg Sonakshi to agree

The comments regarding ritwik was really disappointing.He has been said to stop barking n being judgemental.But was he really being judgemental? I didn't find it anywhere.I mean his dream was truly ruined by Dev,was even given money to leave sona who dev claims to love, his date was spoiled by our one and only dev dixit and then suddenly his fiance's pic is in the newspaper because of the interview given by Dev himself. Aren't these reasons enough to judge someone. He has always been patient with dev cheap tricks but newspaper event was at extreme. Was ritwik supposed to be patient even there?? No girl wound want a guy who remains silent after such fiasco n loved ritwik there a lot.he stood for sona which dev has never done.what respect dev was talking about. What ever he has done to sona would not ever be done by someone who respects Women.harkatein cheapde wali aur batein respect ki.My foot.

In such a scenario it is obvious that Bijoy will not agree easily and may even forbid Sonakshi from meeting Dev.

If that happens I seriously doubt if Dev would respect Bijoy's wishes the way he respected Ishwari's and would 100% resort to his trade mark under handed tricks to get Sonakshi.

Will Dev be right in such a scenario taking into consideration the fact that he didn't budge against his mother and would care two hoots about Sonakshi parents dictates.

Also would Sonakshi still be considered right if she doesn't go against Bijoy. She can also hit the bottle or cry buckets like Dev and do nothing else. I am sure people will understand her majboori right?

Unfortunately when it comes to Dev, Sona and her family can go to hell. They have to listen and bear all tantrums and still be sacrificial and kind and accept whatever and whenever Ishwari/Dev comes with the proposal. If Bijoy takes a stand against for obvious reasons (his daughter has been humiliated by Ishwari several times) and knowing Ishwari cannot change her attitude towards Sona suddenly, he would be wrong and would immediately be termed as another Ishwari (as If Bijoy wants to keep Sona in her house and to himself like Ishwari does for Dev). He should just give in, understand the pain of Devakshi even though both (Sona and Dev) are behaving like fools in love without brain. I guess this behavior of people matches with what we see in society. A girl n her family are the only ones who has to understand everything all the time. Guy and the family are treated like kings (look at how people want Dev and his mom treated like) even If they are wrong.
I too want Devakshi to come together but not like this. First Dev has to learn Sona is not a toy, who his mother can bring for him and he can throw her when his mom disagrees. He didn't had guts to say a word in front of his mother, cried when intoxicated and Ishwari goes and buys him his toy to play. What's the future of such relationship. Dev is still a spineless guy when it comes to his mom. What is the guarantee Ishwari will not throw another tantrum or use bad words (If not her, she would let GKB do the dirty talks for her) and point finger on her character like before. Will that be acceptable ? Not for me. So If the base of a relationship is not strong it's better not to proceed forward and take time.
Same thing holds true for R and Sona's alliance, Sona was unsure but accepted things even when her heart never said yes even once. Sona would be wrong in this case too If she decides to get married to Dev like right away.

@Bold - Agree. If someone do the same to his sisters.Will he be quiet.He taunted Sona saying her likes changes soon.Claimed her shouting U R Mine.As if she is not Human Being.But a toy.If he respected Sona.He in first place would not have taunted her.I have not seen him regretting for the words he said during break up.He said because he was blind in love.He did not do Son's duties properly.He blamed Sona saying Sona moving on just to hurt.When his mom questioned Sona's Maryada.He kept quite.These things show how much he love n respect Sona. Dev don't deserve respect.

First CV's need to show.Dev learn one thing.That every time it's not about him n his mom.Sona's parents have also heart.He need to respect them.I still can't forget how he addressed them as

Alsoi am so glad cvs showed that rithik is a normal human and he too gets angry.. Otherwise i was starting to think he is saint rithik or reincarnation of mother teresa..

First of all Sen's where at Bose's house, so they have to maintain a level of respect and peace. Ritwick stopped when his dad asked him to shut, is respect not anything else. You don't go and start shouting at another person's (future relative's) house. He knew this was the wrong time to talk to his dad since he was angry. He eventually did talk to his father (which he would have had done, even If Sona wouldn't had mentioned her telling all about Dev to Ritwick). R's father understood his mistake and apologized to Sona and her family immediately after that. Engagement still on. Doesn't it all proves R is more sensible which Dev would never be no matter what are his looks.
