Why din Dev Confront Ishwari?

I din understand why din Dev asked her direct questions today? She said i was trying to accept her and it was you who broke the relationship with her. Why din he confront her that he knew that she took overdose of sleeping pills because she was not happy with his relationship with Sonakshi?

I was so surprised that he kept quiet. He knows the whole truth and still he said watever u did probably right.
Has he understood that his mother is a major time manipulator, thats y he kept quiet or he was scared if he confronts her she again would go in major stress and will do some stupidty.

If it the second reason, i really pity Dev. How suffocating it is to be in such a situation.

But guess this was sudden ..we have always seen dev doing the wrong first and then correcting his mistake...whether it was breaking sona's fone or ranveer's flat thing or his post break up stalker behaviour...so jst like all that ...he has done wrong bt soon wil do right

Honestly, he has spent 27 yrs treating Ishwari like God, listened to her, never gone against her...I would have been extremely shocked if they HAD shown the character confronting her. We, as audience , have seen Ishwari's manipulations...Dev hasn't. He has only seen his mother trying to accept Sonakshi ( in his eyes, trying) - and not liking her. And you are right...he IS afraid that she may hurt herself knowingly / unknowingly again...

So it will take far more than just one sudden revelation to make him question her...infact, CVs were right in NOT showing a confrontation right now. The questions need to build up in his head...only THEN will the confrontation come.

I, for one, cannot WAIT to watch it...the actors will do it justice !

Agree to you! Its not possible for Dev to confront Ishwari that soon! But is just thought the way he is seeing Sonakshi drifting away from him, he could atleast muster courage to question Ishwari and understand her mind

Not only did he not confront her, he HUGGED her?! At this rate I don't think Dev is going to realize his mistake.
