What does Dev want?

In yesterday's confrontation scene with Sonakshi she asked him what does he want and he did not reply. Today in speaking with Mamaji he mentions what else could he do? He has no right to hurt his mother, let go of her hand, or basically watch her die by continuing a relationship with Sonakshi. So what was the end result of the stalking supposed to be? Was he going to stalk for the rest of her life? Monday night, I believe it was, he said Sona cannot stop loving him as long as he still loves her. So he was planning on stalking her until he finally one day up and stopped loving Sona?? 😕

He's in the worse situation at present. He needs to calm down and think about his decision... He should ask for some time from Sona to slowly make his mother understand that for him only Sona is his soulmate. And she too is equally important for him.

If he is shattered he wouldn't be so calmly having breakfast with his mother the next morning. He might even lie without a second thought, while giving his reasons for calling Sona.

He is nothing but 8 year old ma ka beta who can do grandiose proclamations of love but once momma calls goes running leaving the girl completely bewildered , confused and hurt.

He wants to enjoy omelette (sona) without creaking the egg (ish).

Dev wants to make decisions for Sona, just like his mom makes decisions for him. Basically he wants to be Sona's mom 😳
