Don't mind but it's been quite obvious for a while.

Infact even yesterday's episode more than made that clear when she sees him crying and bemoans the fact the he can't think of his happiness but still does nothing.

So today's scene is hardly an eye-opener.

The funda is very clear Dev has to destroy himself or everything around him. Only then Ishwari will realize.

Its a wrong solution - dev destruction will strengthen her feeling that sona was not good for her. Dev needs to clearly tell her what sona's father told. If its too much he needs to tell her just

1. I'm grown up now and there is love which is different from motherly and sisterly love.
2. Don't be selfish.
3. Sona is not the problem - You will not accept any girl in my life bcoz you don't want to love anybody else.
4. You don't want me to put my head on someones else shoulder when I want to cry.
5. You don't want me to put my head on someones lap when I can't sleep.

The above points may sound too harsh / rude / insulting / hurting to Ishwary but this bitter medicine is needed for all the possessive mothers. For sometime she'll feel dejected will cry, will say many things, may try emotional blackmail drama but will ultimately realise the futility. Neha can be a catalyst in such situations.

Dev doesn't know the above Neither does Sona. They think the problem is Ishwari doesn't like sona. We know that is not the case. Ishwari doesn't like Sona for Dev.

For him to talk to her, she needs to get out of the bubble she is in. She needs to be zapped out.. That zapping out can only happen if she sees Dev pining for Sona. Not otherwise.

I somehow disagree. If Ishwary sees dev in pain her conviction will strengthen that sona is responsible for all this and she may start hating her.

She'll never realise that she's wrong unless Dev tells her so. Even if Neha, her bro, sona's father or all the world tell her that she's wrong and selfish. She totally blind with the loyalty / love of her son bcos this is the reason of her existence. Her daughters are nothing for her- though she may not accept that too.

Its only and only dev can open her eyes and when she will hear something unpleasent from him and only the fear of losing her son will open her eyes.
