Dev's pain is upsetting you, and you feel angry that Sonakshi is always scolding him and asking him to go away.

What did you think she should do? Hug him? Tell him she loves him (that he knows) and plead with him to please stop following her around and accept his own decision for dumping her? Promise that she'd love him forever, and live the rest of her life pining for him?

I agree, this Ritwik angle and speed of events is unfair to Dev but that's the story they chose to tell. I'm not sure which is worse: this scenario or if Ishwari had consented to choose another bride for Dev as GKB suggested...

If Ishwari told him to marry a girl she chose, you think he'd refuse, after his mother's sleeping pills accident ?

He will probably marry that girl but camp outside Sonas house on the wedding night.😉😉

Look up pathetic in a dictionary and you will see his photo..

Dev is both lucky and unlucky that his mom wants him to stay single all his life 😆 Otherwise he would be married to that random girl in the first week and probably had kids by now cos he was ready to marry back then to save Neha's life 😆 He is a masochist with a misguided sense of loyalty..He was never batshit crazy though but the writers have made him that too..But then again, Ishwari wasn't a psycho either but that is exactly what she has been reduced to right now 😆

I think sona doing s correct..If Dev could not stand for his love nd fight for it..y shud sona wait for him..He didnt giv her any valid reason to wait for him..She also has a family who supported nd love uncoditionally unlike Dev. .I think at least Dev ll open his heart to his mom..and stop easwari s illusions. ..

He decided that they're relationship wasn't worth pursuing as his mother didn't like it. So he ended it. It was his non-negotiable decision.
She is now going with her parents decision and move on. So she is getting to know Ritwik. Why is it her fault? She isn't flaunting her new relationship. He is choosing to watch from the front seat and hurt himself.
Since his mom's wish was his every command, he should be focusing on his work and family like she would want. Stalking the girl she despises isn't what Ishwari would want. He needs to back off fully from Sons or talk to Ishwari, apologise to Sona and her parents then hope he gets another chance at their relationship.

sona bashing Dev?
first of all, things are still unfolding in the show. second, it's Dev's who is interfering in her life after kicking her out in one second. third, why should it always be a woman's job to support such a weak boyfriend, husband who can not even stand up for what is rightfully his to his own mom and take abuse? fourth, why can't a man xpt his own decision and let the girl move on. he is the one who kicked her out..right? he used to say "mera haq hai" "you are for me"... kyaa hua? he only remembers this part of all the promises he made..nothing else. "I will do anything to keep you in my life" "noone will ever come between us"

it's not sonakshi's job to cradle Dev. he needs to grow up and act like a man!!!!

@vibg - that's the problem here. He is comfortable being a mama's boy doing only what is expected of him by his family. This is the first time he wants something for himself which his family didn't plan for him. He fell in love. No one on his side knows how to nurture and support his relationship

@ spacenox - My bad 😆 Indeed the earth revolves around Ishwari 😈

One more thing - Trying to understand Dev and calmly talking to him .. Sona has already done both in few previous instances ->

1. The infamous Halwa incident 😆 - Sona told him the reality, Dev called it her ego 👏 Again, he din't take more than 5 secs to say so, err sorry, he indeed took 10 secs 👏 to call her egoist..

2. Sona told him what Ishwari told her father, Dev insulted her family by saying 'tum log' and dismissed the whole discussion saying they are the ones who misunderstood 😆

3. Time and again Sona told him Ishwari doesn't like her, what did he do ? Trust me, as a beta I am telling you my mommy is the best, and she loves everything what/whom I love 😆

For a guy like Dev who snubs off all the discussion of the other party whenever it's about his mom, what can a girl do ? Sona's fierce mood is so apt in the given situation, he needs a big bpl to wake up 😆 He doesn't want to understand, hence it's better for Sona to snub him off the same way he does to her ..

Dev can't have both ways. he can be a mamma's boy but then he can't expect Sona to sit around mope for him that one day.. he'll come or they'll secretly meet. chi chi Dev needs to realize.. not one person from his family is talking to him, supporting to him, caring for his needs, his pain, his hurt...he needs to wake up.. that his God mom and loving family.. really don't love him at all or care for his needs😡 heartbreaking, but reality!

@vibg - agree with you. This is why I feel Dev isn't ready for a grown up relationship

But now, after promising so many things and having so much close understanding what is she doing...
- Why she needs to bash Dev every single time..
- Why is she kind humiliating him?
She knows perfectly that for Dev, his mom is his world...just because of him mom he decided to break up with her...otherwise he genuinely loves her and can't live without her..then instead of helping him/supporting him she is making his life more hell...? She doesn't even trust him that Dev can't harm her in any way as he loves her deeply...

Sorry guys, not able to sync in this track...i would have loved the gracefulness in the behavior like mature adults...Sona understanding Dev and helping him and at the same time Dev realizing the value of Sona in his life, but growing strong together, which will give some sense to Ishwari, no matter what kind of nonsense conditions she will put at the end the love is stronger...but in this way, they are getting so many cracks on the relationship...it would be awkward after all these when they patch up...

I completely agree with u...I may not even watch till they patchup..
Lost interest in watching the show or watching segments...
