Difference between sona and dev
Sona
She is mature, sensible, practical ,has self respect and was happy overall even before falling in love with dev. Her happiness was not all becuase of dev. She has a very nice family.
Even after confession we see sona being the mature one and wouldnt just get carried away with devs action. She knew when to say yes and when to say no...she said we will meet only on weekends instead of daily once -- that shows how practical she is...
Dev broke her heart in a sec and didnt even give any hope for future. Here she is the victim.

On the other hand is stubborn, go getter and childish. He only had responsibilities and no reason to cause actual happiness prior to falling in love with sona..once he found the new found portal to happiness, he didnt waste any time. He was childish in love and he did what he does best- full concentration on the one thing at hand;)... When the world came collapsing and he realized his love for sona is cauibg painto his mom. He didnt waste a sec to breakup with sona.. So now he not only misses his best friend, emotional outlet, advisor, he is also feeling very guilty of breaking sonas heart... This would conpletely drain him out in days...
Disagree when you say he was not a multi tasker ...he was a good lover , sensible business man, responsible brother and a loving son .He did try his best to balance his love life and his responsibilities .I agree he took a impulsive decision to breakup but that's towards the end .Initially he did his best to convey what Sonakshi meant to him , did try his best to involve her in his decisions to make her feel wanted .Some backfired due to his obsessive mother .We should not forget that he is a victim of Ishwari's manipulations just like Sona was .
Yes he is all alone in life even after having a family and that's the reason he is emotionally attached to Sona ...Its not his fault that he is born in such a family and I am not saying that gives him right to hurt anyone .
On the other hand Sona had a supportive family and she did not have to balance between her love life and her family .
So you can not compare the grief that dev is going thru to what sona is going thru.. Dev has no outlet he is a pessimistic one and he is the guilty one. Where as sona is optimistic, has supporting family and she is the victim...
She is lucky to have a supporting family and its Dev's fate that he doesn't have one .He is a victim of his mom's manipulations .
If dev doesnt interefere i am sure she will try and make a good life with ritvik eventually... She may not love ritvik at the beginning but if ritvik is a good man i am sure she would guve every chance to fall in live with him...
Exactly ..that's what my point is .You made it easy for me to explain this ...what reasons does Dev have to get Sonakshi back into his life unless she wants to be part of Dev's life not Ritvick's .Until then Dev should not stalk her and should allow her to move on and try to move on as well .
If he can find one sign from Sonakshi that she still wants him then he should try to win her back else
allow her to move on and settle with a better guy
If she smiles or is hapoy with someone after a short period of breakup doesnt mean she didnt love him enough or dev loved her more. For dev she is more than a lover . For sona dev was a lover as she had her family to compensate for thr other needs..
Agree on the bold part and she will always be no matter what happens because he truly loved her and maybe he will for rest of his life .
