Yes, Dev deserves some sympathy too. . He is emotionally at a lower end than Sona.
And amazing observation dear👏 Yes! Sona let her guard fall off, just for a microsecond. . She was about to turn . .and Dev wanted her to. He looked at her with so much of hope at that time.

Me too!! Today we'll get to see angry young man Dixit😉😉 we wanted this since soo long. I remember when Sonakshi was in love and he was oblivious, tab se we wanted a jealous Dev. Finally, after a long wait we'll get our jealous Dev babu today! Yayyy😃😃

Pros from the episode :

1. Dev's smile upon seeing Sona..
2. Mamaji's intimidating Ishwari on reality..
3. Dev's getting lost and delaying to receive Ishwari's call..
4. New guy is good so is his family..
5. Ishwari's preparing food for Dev and Dev might come home late despite Ishwari's asking him to come early or even 1% chance of saying he isn't hungry.. 🤪 This point gives me goosebumps ! Things have slowly started to change if we see correctly !

Imagine Dev back Drunk!! that will be the icing on the cake

The episode brought a much needed breather like fresh air. The Sona who went to the cafe was a faded version of our Sona. She is living each day without actually feeling them. She doesn't feel the colours of life anymore. And Dev babu waiting in the car to get a glimpse of her didn't notice this change. But he looked so revived by this stolen glimpse of her even a faded version.

Sona when she came storming into the office and started her Tumi Tumi it was dream come true for him. He was missing her so much and then his life line was standing in his office with her fierce attitude. Their story started just like this and it was as if he was reliving the past. Shaheer was brilliant in that scene. I wanted to be angry with Dev but Shaheer is making it ekdom impossible.Loved the way he was searching for excuses. Sona almost lost her mask and managed to leave before exposing herself. Dev was left wondering if it was real or if it was a dream since he so wanted it to happen. This actually looks like a reversal of role. Lost in love Dev and a Sona who have lost the trust in love.

The lost in love Dev was totally oblivious to the fact that his God was calling him. What an irony. The mother for whom he sacrificed his love took a back seat when love came calling him.

Loved mamaji n Ishwari convo. Ishwari is aware that her son is not happy. She doesn't want to accept that her son needs someone other than her. The funny thing was mamaji was talking as if he was entering a prohibited area. He never admitted that Dev talked to him or that he told him about Ishwari's dislike for their relationship. Mamaji really knows his sister. The moment Ishwari thinks that Dev is getting closer to his mama he is going to see another Ishwari.

Rithik's entry was really good. Both the family have the same dynamics. They have the same pulse. They just make you feel welcome. When Rithik clasped Sona's hand for a handshake what I really felt was " mujse dosthi karogi"

The precap was superb. I so wanted this. I loved that he saw Sona smiling. He has to see that Sona can be happy with someone other than him.

So sorry, for my delayed responses to this thread. . The replies are always so thoughtful that even I want to be articulate with my reply to you😳😆

True, Sonakshi is living just because she has to. . But she is not the same Sona whom we saw a few days back, always trying to happy.

I was also so angry on him after the sbs segment. . But not so angry after I saw the actual scene😆 His body language was so dominating. . Literally scared the boss. He even said to Sonakshi, "mujhe daant bhi diya"😆

I loved how Dev forgot all his words to himself, right after he saw Sonakshi in the cafe. Earlier he said to himself when Tina informed him about the check "mera aur ms. Bose ka koi rishta nahi" and straight to "wo dost hai meri"

And then even when Ishwari cut the call, he kept smiling. . He was still in awe of Sona. . It is worth noting that even Ishwari's call didn't bring him out of trance.

Yes, mamaji is wary that Ishwari will not like it if Dev gets close to mama. He carefully managed to hide that he didn't reveal anything.😊

Hopefully, Rithik and Sona become good friends. . Nothing more😉😆

Very true. . It is almost like a parellel situation. The only difference,like you pointed, is that Sonakshi is already in love with Dev and knowingly has taken the decision while Dev hadn't realised his love.

One more difference is that Natasha was the ideal partner but Sona wasn't wrong for him either. . Except for her being from a middle class family. . But that didn't matter for Dixits anyway. But here, Dev has broken her heart. . Ideally Sona should be so angry on him that she never even thinks about him. But it is not happening. . No matter how hard she tries. . She will never be able to get over his love. He maybe flawed, but perfect for her.

Well it was a great episode yesterday ! I wait for your post to see the summary coz I dont get to see it on time dear Somu and always , always love what I read. It is so well written... muuahhs !

Dev was so stunned to see her ...he did not hear anything ...went on staring at her ... while Sona was blabbering in anger. He was like taking a fill of her in that beautiful piece of music that was playing ...just like he got attracted to her the first time in her garden !! ❤️ my heart was going garden ...garden ! he was so hesitant to speak ...stammering ...stuttering...come to think of it ...Sona holds such a lot of power on the Dev Dixit ...she can make him stand in attention...make him follow her ...etc etc...that one pause of few seconds at the door from Sona ...aww my girl is trying to be s strong !!

Sona is punishing Dev ...she is angry with him for doing what he did and he deserves it ...thats y she keeps saying ... u cannot care for me...u cannot talk to me ... u don't even have any right to see me ! words hit hard on him but they will have their effect later on ...he will go to see her again !!! there is no stopping now...

Ritvik...he seems genuinely nice. So does his family. I hope what we see is what it is. I will write what I wrote in another post recently.

He is a good guy ... What is good is good. He will keep Sona happy... How much Sona will be happy is another thing all together. The heart does not work in Sync with the mind and head... . It runs its own course. In reality if u ask me... Break ups happen. .. Lovers fight and patch up... . They fight again and patch up again.. . They stay away... seek company... Try to move on... Find love again... Or they think they find love again... but does the heart dance when u see the other person how it used to dance when u were with the ONE u have left behind...for some it does... For some it does not.

Pratically moving on is the best step... .And Sona is trying genuinely. She is trying coz she has a wonderful family to show her different perspectives but I want to know... Is this moving on in real sense ... Will she want to jump into his arms like she did with Dev or may be express happiness in some other way .. Will she allow herself to do this... If she does... Then I will believe she is moving on else she is too just in a self punishing mode resigning herself to fate coz she thinks Dev has not and will not fight for their love. Being chatty and happy and going out r the V usual signs of what people may call OK... So I see this means she is moving on... But if Sona will think about Ritvik in her mind blissfully .. Carelessly...if she will be who the real Sona is... . Then I will believe she is past Dev else not and never will be. Lets see how it goes here.

So sorry😳 and thanks for bringing this up again. .

So coming to your points. .

1. Oh my! I would never want to imagine that scenario. . Dev will be so heartbroken. .

But if that does happen that Sonakshi is never his own again, I believe Dev is someone who will put on the mask of being a strong, ideal son infront of his family but he will die everyday inside. He can't even in his worst of dreams can accept Sonakshi marrying someone else. .

I think he will try to fight his obsession, trying to know how she has been keeping and all that, laden with tears every day. . But considering he is not someone who will try to destroy her life, her marriage. . He will eventually give up. Be broken, lifeless. Forever.

I don't think he will be able to move on to the extent of marrying someone else.

2. Honestly, it was so unlike mamaji to have kept mum on that issue, considering he was so blunt about Ishwari's sentiments with Dev that day.

It was smart of him to lie, for his own benefit, as Ishwari would have been even more disturbed to know that Dev shared his thoights with mama and that Mama disclosed Ishwari's guilty secret to him. She would have thought that mamaji spoiled their equation by spilling her beans.

3. As I said, Ishwari would be shocked if she knew that mamaji has revealed her emotions to Dev as even she wants to be that ideal mother of Dev, she wants to hide her flaws hence she never even discusses about her insecurities with him, she thinks it will degrade her ideal image plus would distance them. Totally disillusioned she is.

And this instant reaction that Dev gave up his happiness because of her would have urged her to talk to him. . K mamaji ne kuch bhi keh diya tha, I have problems with her. . But please dont do this.

4. I totally agree dear. . We were all using it in a fun way, but certainly people with such big hearts like Ritwik are hardly seen. It is not easy to give a shoulder to a girl you are about to marry, regarding her ex. He is always all ears to her.😳
