" hi guys what happen?" asked rana

"nothing dada, lets go home I am tired from the flight." said sona

"woah!! You tired haha are you kidding me chutki, jut before you sat on the flight you ordered me to clear my schedule for you and now you are tired what happen?" asked rana

Sonakshi stayed quiet not knowing what to say, while dev just kept staring at her as if she was some lost treasure which he finally found, which she actually was for him. On the other hand sonakshi who was aware about dev staring at her was getting uncomfortable, she was not looking at him knowing that one look at him and all the past pains and heartbreaks still still haven't healed will resurface.

Rana was utterly confused dev had a happy expression on his face one that might come in a mileninium on his face, his was panting hard and smiling ear to ear with little moist eyes, while sona was disturbed , finally not being able to take this he spoke out, " do you two by any chance know each other?"

"no" "yes" said sona and dev respectively at the same time.

"what he knows you and you don't know him?"

"no the person who I thought was dev dixit was actually not so I don't know who this gentleman is ", she said pointing at dev.

"ok, dev how do you know chutki?"

"long story rana, will tell you some other time, I guess sonakashi is .."

"its Dr. Bose for you" sona cutted him off in middle, he looked at her with a pained expression and continued "Dr Bose is not happy with my presence so I should get going", saying so he walked away from them.

Rana turned to sona, "will you explain please."

"what you got to be kidding me sona, you and dev were in a relationaship , you loved each other and he breaks it only because his mother did not approved you"

"yes dada"

"hmm , I guess so the girl he was talking about must be you."

"which girl?"

"nothing I just asked him why hasn't he married so he said that he loved someone but lost her"

"hmm"

"chutki did you both you know after your breakup tried to work on this again?"

"dada that guy just told me its over as if...asif it never meant anything to him...he did not even thought about me just said sonakashi hume alag ho jana chahiye...all those promises, moments the future we planned dreams everything every damm thing that was between us ..he shattered them dada shattered them with those 6 cursed words dada.. and you are asking me whether I worked it again or not with him " sona exclaimed as tears flow freely from her eyes.

"chutki I didn't wanted to make you cry, its just that I can see what .. what you both cant." Said rana

Wiping her tears sona turned towards her elder cousin brother rana, "what".

"that you both still love each other"

Hearing it sonakshi turned her head to look out of the window.

Rana sighed and spoke, "see chutki two years have passed neither him nor you none have moved on, I don't know what you both are waiting for...you tell me did you or did not get good proposals chutki?"

"dada.."

"na, answer me did you or did you not?"

"I did"

"then why are you still single?"

"because.. because..i don't know" said sona frustrated

"because they were not dev"

Sona looked at rana in utter shock "bahi plz just don't..."

"no sona listen to me your heart still velongs to him and is still with him, same goies for him too , he doesn't even look at girls at all, you ruled his heart then and you are still ruling it... sona just think over it give it another chance."

"I will think about it but now I have a lot else to do", said sona getting out of the car heading towards the house.

"that's what you both are doing" shouted rana getting out of the car making sona stop and look back at him, "that's what you both are doing running away and the best excuse for both of you is work." Said rana walking towards sona.

"dada plz give my bag inside", saying so sona run inside the house.

Rana entered the house to be greeted by his mother asking what happened to sona, rana told her everything.

"oh so dev is the guy Elena was talking about"

"you about him maa"

"na beta job Elena delhi gyi thi na tab ki baat hai, sho she used to tell me that there is a guy whom sona likes so I think that must be dev."

"hmmm"

"are you all alright beta" she asked placing a hand on his shoulder

"maa she is doing the same thing which I did and thus I am all alone now,and I don't want this to happen with chutki or with dev"

"hmm, did you talked with chutki?"

"yes but she is stubborn"

"hmm"
