Did she forget during Neha's first alliance her conditions were to stay separate with her husband, also right now she is living separately. Sona should indirectly make her recall this.

Why I feel it wlll backfire...

1) There seems to be something wrong with this match...the guy might have some issues..anger issues...and he cannot accept Sona was involved with Dev and this guy gets hold of the family pic Sona took...and rejects her at the eleventh hour ...leaving her at the altar...and Dev rescues her?

2) Dev when he hears Sona has accepted the proposal, goes berserk and kidnaps her and make her his?

3) Dev goes to Sona begging her to give him a 2nd chance, telling the other guy has major issues...

4) Dev finds outs that his mum his the behind the alliance and goes mad...and Iswari get scared for her son's sanity goes to Sona begging her to marry Dev...

5) Dev gets jealous of seeing them together and gets drunk and goes to Sona's house and make loves to her!
