Insult and humiliation scenes, especially those involving the girl and her family are high on my hate list. I was thankful to this show for steering clear of such scenes.

Having said that, I feel they may have added this scene to provide some basis for Bose family to demand confirmation that their daughter would be respected and treated well..Else Dev's rishta is perfect rishta for them...

Perhaps after this Dev would meet them to apologize/reassure...If they don't have a follow up scene of that sort, I will be very very disappointed..

But Sonakshi's POV is correct, the situation would have been so awkward for her. They should have informed her atleast so this drama would have been avoided. They should have thought of something different for testing Dev's family I think.

True, RR is a lost case😡 but Bose family created awkward situation for sona. They must have thought that the Dixits are as welcoming and warm as the Bose family.😳 It is their simplicity which did not make them think. Had they told Sona already, she would have worked out the timings with Dev, to make them feel more welcomed and less ajeeb.

Yaar Bose family must be feeling so bad..uaan..

But yeh mami...😡 arre isko kya hai..natak aise dikhati hai jaise ki she was born with a silver spoon or what

Huhh..koi yeh mami ko sunata kyo nai hai mamaji ke alawa..

Very true, I despise such scenes too.

Yes, I feel there will be more to this scene than just insults. Like you said, may actually force Bose family to wonder whether The Dixits would understand Sona's worth. .Bojoy clearly said he wanted to see how the family actually is.

I doubt Sonakshi would share the insults with Dev

So true, Mamaji's presence was a must today! Only he can see through her bitter words. . Rest everyone just ignores her😡
