Really...our connect to Dev is losing day by day...

He is a matured individual...has good exp of life from a very young age...

When u see just a single person investing so much into a relationship and the other not even half of it...u kind feel the oddness there...

After and even before the confession Sona was always his problem solver...but yesterday when Sona needed him ..his support to boost her confidence and to cheer her up..all he did was again over boarded her with his ishi maa issues...and Sona kind of felt offended... rightly so...

She saw that he is unable to see anything beyond ishi maa and his family...

After this patch up...I really want Sona to bring up this issue with Dev...
Let Dev ivest more sentiments and love ..more than his mushy words in this relationship...

Like Sona said.. He is not the Dev she fell in love with

Fair points...

Sona also has lost her original spark...

But here...V can atleast assume that Sona is deeply in love with Dev...n this love has mellowed her a bit...
It's not just Dev... She has excepted everything pertaining to Dev with its flaws...
In her self talk she did say that she does not want to mess things more by telling Dev about his mom... She knows what effect such talk will have on him... Regarding Mami she simply ignore her ..I guess...

But when her patience's gave off.. She refused to even understand devs problem..."I can't understand ur pain"

Dev to... He loves Sona.. But openly excepted that he cannot change ... But Sona herself changed for Dev... Which is the reason for her state today...

Untill devs maa Jaap melows down... This will keep happening... Untill he openly excepts the change for good...

So true! Dev is a man who has built an empire all by himself. But the moment his mom is even slightly upset with him, he becomes a mess. He doesn't know what to do where to go. Sometimes makes me question how did he manage to reach to the top? In building any business, there are failures that one has to face. In times of failures, Ishwari would've been tensed as well. How did he handle it then?
When Dev told Sonakshi during neha's wedding 'Mera sabkuch hai iss chehre pe' my heart melted. But recently, we were shown the Dev from the promos. His 'sabkuch' is his maa and not Sona.
I'm happy the makers are sticking to the original promos, but a little more realization on Dev's part towards his responsibility to his girl, wouldn't hurt.

CV's r making look Dev like a guy .Who can mouth beautiful dialogues n promises. But he is not a man of action.

If his everything of him is in Sona's face. Can't he see she is also sad .Her face is down.No he think only about his mom's behavior. He ignore Sona's sad face.

Interesting discussion in progress. Let me share my 2 cents here which i have mentioned in yyy's post. From my pov, the main problem lies in the execution part. Looks like makers took their viewers & their love for granted esp after 100th episode.

Makers made a mess out of Sona & Ishwari's characters recently(esp after 100th episode). They made Ishwari's character from a sensible person to complete sense less and non-sense person. You can understand the damage they caused to Ishwari's character when people started feeling GKB is much better than Ishwari. I felt they don't have any clarity on how to portray Ishwari when the actual story kick started.

Coming to Sona, Its good that in the past 2 episodes makers made Sona back to human with fears, flaws, feelings & confusions. Thank god that she is not any more flawless & selfless typical mahan FL of TV soaps. Each and every human has their tolerance limit and we react when that limit is crossed. There is nothing wrong wrt Sona's behavior as a normal human being. Problem lies in the way they handled Sona's character in the recent episodes. They made Sona from Delhi's best nutritionist to Dixit's house care taker. Most of her y'days dialogues are to calm down this fandom and for damage control. They made Sona from a strong, independent & head strong girl to a typical Shock absorb-er. There are many things which really annoyed me about Sona's character in the recent episodes. Like her helpless pleading when GKB was playing with her phone, silently listening to all taunts/insults or her lack of communication in their relationship. She never shared with Dev about what is happening in his absence. Even when he asked her about How is her day, she says i was thinking about u. Seriously. And she is the one who tells Dev that we need to discuss about everything and not just about happy moments to complete our relationship. She want to cut vegetables and clean palak to help Ishwari, Are you serious Sona? Before asking Dev or any other person not to take her for granted, First she need to Respect herself and her family. Most importantly, She need to respect her profession and should behave like a professional at work. She is also need to know that currently she is not a bahu/would be bahu at Dixit's house to get involve in to each and every house matter. Let them handle their mess & why she need to be there for them like a 24/7 help.

Coming to Dev, ATM i felt he is the only one who is staying in his character properly & he is the only reason why i am still not able to loose the connect with this show. It may look annoying when he is talking always about his ma & his family but his priorities are always clear. For him, his mother comes first and then his family(now this includes Sona also from his pov).

I am not part of Dev fan club or Sona fan club. I love this show for its content & its execution. More than the actors, I love the show writers for their subtle story telling. I honestly feel writers need to pull up their socks and protect what they have built so beautifully till now in this show and not to spoil its essence just for drama. This is just my pov.

Completely agree with you... Ishu and Sona had been just brought back to their state of behavior from whatever land they were moved to earlier... 😆 And not even sure how long they will be here in this skin before being lost to their far-far-away-nowhere land... 🤪

Dev still in the same state of normalcy in terms of relationships though he has gone through happy changes as an individual... Unless he is ready to accept these changes and take them forward to bring in any changes to other relationship that he values, he's gonna stay in his own bliss of ignorance... 😉😃 My expectations from him has always been nil... Nevertheless curious to know what he will do if not for his regular/expected behaviors out of his portrayed role ... And I am all ready to be taken by surprise, if anything at all... 👍🏼

Yes the makers are now showing Dev-Sonakshi from the promos..I don't think that Sona is not Dev's priority. She is indeed one of the most important lady in his life but when his mom comes in picture he loses that rationality and will run to Sona for his issues. I am keeping full faith in CVs now. Although we are disappointed,CVs have kept Dev's character the way they introduced him. This is the plot of KRPKAB. We surely will see this journey of Dev where he will become rational enough to make the decisions and become the confident and strong Dev Dixit in his personal space too. The separation track and Neil's entry will help him realize Sona's importance in his life. Yesterday's episode has given me a lot of positivity😊

That's true. I'm keeping blind faith on the CVs now. As I mentioned earlier, my faith in the show is reinstated. They know what they're doing and will show Dev's redemption when the time comes😊
