She's aware that Dev is in love with Sona, still don't want to accept it. Her insecurities and possessiveness for her son was always the same, but now she has started showing it. The chulha scene in the end was because she thinks she is slowly losing the importance in Dev's life, which is ofcourse false, but after hearing Sona's name from Dev in the sub-concious state she is shaken. And yes i have seen over possessive people doing these kind of stupid things to grab attention.</font>

And for Dev to tell about DevAkshi relationship to his mom or to anyone is not easy. He has told Sona, it is only her to whom he can talk anything and everything without any inhibition. But this is not the case with his mom. He always think before talking to her. It is not that he doesn't value Sona. He odes... But as he said, she's her own... He needed someone like Sona in life to whom he can share all his feeling... Whether right or wrong... And she understands him well.</font>

It is not easy to tell your parents about your love life. It was only his first attempt to tell her. Obviously he will tell her. But he couldn't gather the courage this time. And we need to consider it as he also is a human.</font>

It is just that She wants Dev to tell his mom first about them. She is aware Dev was not ready to share it with anyone till now. She just wanted him to be ready. Once he tell it to his mom, she will share it with her family the same day. And she want to do that we know... We all know Bose family is very supportive and they will the happiest to know about DevAkshi and Sona is absolutely sure about it. She's not hurting her family by any way, but is just taking some time. And in the last episode the way she looked at her mother when her father was saying you can talk to me as a friend... It was visible how much she love her mother. She's not ignoring her mother...!!!</font>

Let me try to put my 2 cents here. Let us just rewind little and go back to past when Sona realised her love for Dev. She was on cloud 9 in those initial days. How many times she tried(failed) to confess her feelings to Dev? How many times Elena pushed her? Even after so many attempts still she was not able to confess. She understood the depth her feelings towards Dev only when she was about to lose him to Natasha. Now think about Dev and his current situation and i hope i was able to make some sense. 😆

Love is like that.. it makes people lose their sense of balance and alertness. In bold I agree 100% with what you have said. Dont worry you are not alone there are many with you here on this. (I want Dev to yearn for Sonakshi and realize her importance in his life. For that, MOVE OUT OF THE DIXIT HOUSE AND GET A NEW JOB, SONA!! )

Friday the 29th july gave me a lot of positive vibes, but the august 1st just took it down. I know one good episode can turn around the show, but last week was entirely about ishwari feeling bad, this week will be about Dev and his muh kholna subh gadi and next week is about Sona, realizing that she is not all that likeable by Ishwari.

And so on and so forth the story would move. But we would be around still wondering why? why not? when? how? is it? oh no!!

But the craze will continue, we have become so addicted to this story, we keep the copy right to praise it or criticise it, but all in good spirits.

Lets wait and see how the makers live upto to the standard set up by them.

I agree. Sonakshi is loosing her dignity becoming too much involved in Dev's family issues. She needs to move out. Dev Dixit is just the guy a woman should never fall in love with or marry. They say that one should never marry a guy who hates his mother or one who is totally tied to his mother's apron strings. Dev in addition to being a Mommy's boy also comes with tremendous emotional baggage. In fact for any woman he is bad news with a Capital B.

all said and done Sona has done the stupidity of falling for this man. Maybe she fell in love with his apparent goodness and kindness to his family without once giving a thought to how difficult it would be to live on a daily basis with him and his family . Compromising your self respect for a few days is OK but it can't be done on a perpetual basis.

sona has further allowed him to take her for granted by quietly taking his Mamis insults. Fine his Mama helped them a lot but is he going to allow GKB a free rein because of that. Would he have kept quite if that foul woman was insulting his mother? Glaring once is just not enough. He should have spelt it in black and white but then again his mother's emotions come before sonas self respect.

I think Sona should either ask Dev to pull up his socks or run away as far as possible from this mother son duo. Marriage is not a week long affair that adjustments to this level can be made. It is not easy to live everyday Compromising or sacrificing your sense of self.
