Couldn't agree more. And I believe the reason for our disinterestedness is the rushing storyline, which has become more like a fairy tale like. It reminds me of all the Barbie movies!!!! Too much of anything is bad, and here I'm referring to sudden exaggerated romance between Dev and Sonakshi, who seem to have no other work, or worries to hold them back, and this is getting very unrealistic. I mean which business man would have so much time to romance around in the home, especially someone, who have earned all his success with so much of hardship; and which nutritionist, who had also built up her career with hard work and earned a reputation, would toss it so easily. Don't get me wrong, I'm not saying that a business man,and a renowned nutritionist cannot have a love-life; they are humans and would experience all human emotions like us. But love would not become their priority, as there are other things which surrounds their lives. Dev, let just assume, can afford to be his own boss and choose to work from home; but Sonakshi cannot afford day-dreaming about her love story all the time, because she, as a personal nutritionist must have a contract, which might end soon. And then what? Or she being paid a high salary by Dev Dixit, is ready to jeopardize her career. I'm saying this because she's well aware what her job means to her, and the fact too that, Dev's family might not accept her as their daughter -in-law. What so ever, things are not falling in right place; although it's a fiction, the drama started well with a balance in real life situations and little bit of imagination. And to add more to all these, there is Dev's mother, who, in the beginning, was portrayed as a woman of principles and strong personality, who is willing to do anything for the happiness of her children, has suddenly fallen weak in characterization. Now every word of Maami against Dev and Sonakshi, affects Dev's mother; she seems to easily manipulated. And the question is if the feeling of sharing her son with another woman is so heart breaking, why she didn't have any objections towards Dev and Natasha's relationship? Was it because Natasha belonged to the same social status, and Sonakshi doesn't? Or was it because Dev was open to his mother about every step he took towards Natasha, and now he's hiding things from her? These questions remain unanswered. The CVs of KRPKAB must be careful, because the characters are falling weak, and the story is filled with unrealistic romance. The story was about the different types of love and it's strings attached to relationships, and it was very obvious that someone who, came in between the love of a mother and son, would threaten the relationship. So,I believe we all knew that, at certain point of the story, the mother would turn possessive about her son, and it would be hard to fit in; at some point the woman in Dev's life, his love, would have to really earn love and respect in Dev's mother's heart. But I never expected this twist to arise because of Maamis brainwashing to Dev's mother.Besides, the whole part where a rich girl walks into Dev's life and gets a special treatment in Dixit household, whereas, a simple and educated and independent girl, equally beautiful, is finding hard to get acceptance in Dev's family, doesn't make sense. So yes, the present track in the drama is bit boring; filled with either bitter words(of Maamiji), or sugarcoated romance whereby Dev and Sonakshi.
