Each of them were rt in their own space.

Dev - never understood that his mother liked going out with him. So its not the Saree that mattered but its the whole activity that she gets to do along with him . All these years he took his mom out because he didnt know how to buy a saree by himself. Todays episode shows that he has always wanted to buy one for his mom and surprise her like his sisters but never had the guts to do that because he felt he couldnt choose the best for her

Now you might think/argue, then how did he pick one for Sona . Well he is himself in front of her. There is no wall between them. There is no need to build an image of perfection in front of her because she has accepted him with his flaws. But when it comes to his family they look up to him and he can never go wrong.

Sonakshi - Poor girl doesnt know the reality . All she did was help him pick a Saree for his mom , whom she is slowly trying to give space in her life too... She to some extent understands the dynamics between the son and mom. But I am sure she didnt know the emotion attached to the task of picking a saree from his mom's point of view.

Ishwari - She becomes a child sometimes in front of her son. We have seen this before also when she fusses with food and her eating habit. And thats exactly what happened today also. She forgot that she is elder and is mother of four. Instead of taking a matured stand and respecting her grown up son's need to surprise her , she became a kid...

I'd just like to say that I for one cannot agree with her action /reaction. I agree she did a lot for her children but then was it done with an expectation to get it compensated in the form of undivided attention. I understand such women do exist but it's not a healthy relationship then... Dev would not be able to progress ahead with sona, not because he does not want to but because his this action will make his mom secure and happy... There.. U go Ishwari... Ur price of being a mom and all that u did gets paid!

Ishwari ji did a lot...to become widow in a very young age with 4 kids was a very unfortunate ...She fought n she survived...but as I already said its her fate and life...

She is a mother , the most respected and eldest person of Ishwari Niwas...She just can not act like a spoiled obsssed kid who just want to have sole haq on her son...Y she forgets that Every person needs changes according to time and age in which they r ...

Children need mom n dad

Teenagers need friends..

Men at late 20s need a parter...as do women...

If they had shown Dev forgetting the special day coz of Sona then I would have said she is right...

But here, she is very proud in a wrong way that she needs to prove n show all that she is the most important person in Dev's life ...very self centred and narcissist ...

A mother of three daughters acting like this...she is so wrong...her heart is very impure...

Mothers let her children grow, evolve and in some cases let them leave the nest to build their own...

mothers ...idol of selfless love...but here she is the most selfish one

You're so right. She's three daughters, so what if one of her daughters get a life partner where the mother-in-law is not ready to accept presence of any other person in her son's life ?? Would Ishwari like that ??
Don't put some one's daughter through some thing that you can't bear to see happening with your own daughter !

@ bold

I was trying to say that...n thank u for understanding

She not only raised him but gave him good culture and made him successful.. Dev is successful because at very young age he understood his mom's efforts.. he worked hard to see her happy.. she always supported her.. its very difficult to describe.. but i have seen such bond so its not difficult for me to accept this fact..

Ishwari's character is not negative here.. she will need some time to accept any changes in her son's life... and it will take sometime for viewers to digest it.. its complex.. but it exists and believe me I have seen someone in my personal life..😉.😊

@ underlined part

then i must say i m lucky to have a wonderful MIL...she always mentions...ur husband instead of saying my son

ishwari ji raised her children so well...agree

She is not ready to have somebody in his life ...so wrong

Y she doesN't she understand that she can have more happiness in future in a form of chota dev...she will have one more person whom she can call her family...

but no...she is not ready for change ...YYY????????????????????

Agreed to your point...I am in no way saying what she is doing it is right... But its going to take some time for her to accept that she cannot fulfill every need of her son. Some desires can ONLY be fulfilled by a spouse/partner. 😉

Infact its a sin to compare herself with the lady who her son loves. The support and maternal affection that a mother can provide to her son is so different from what her son will get from his partner.
Pity kids with possessive parents...these days girls parents are no way behind.. an over possessive father in law is every guys nightmare 🤣. Wish to see how Sonakshi's father would react when he knows about their relationship. That will be another shade of emotion to watch.
