As far as i know Dixit's are marathi.But his family doesn't seem like a marathi family.

i also think dixit is marathi.punjabi to nahi lagta.hve dey ever mentioned in begining???.i remember ishwari once mentioned no fish in her diet to sona to assuming dey r veg
