This will be a two/three part short story.
Part 1
It had been 1 month since Dev and Sona were together. Their relationship was still under the wraps.
One evening, Ishwari and Sona were talking to each other. Dev was looking for this opportunity. He walked up to Ishwari and said, "Maa, kal raat meri ek important party hain, tumhe mere saat aana hain" Ishwari looking uncomfortable said "Devvv tujhe toh pata hain ki ye sab party wagerah mujhe bilkul acche nahin lagte. har baar zabardasti leke jaata hain tu" Dev "Par maa, aapka hona zaroori hain, aap nahin aayenge toh kaise chalega" Ishwari looked very uncomfortable. Dev then said "Arre pichli baar Miss.Bose aayi thi toh aap maan gayi na, unko bhi leke chalete hain, kyun Miss.Bose?" and gave Sonakshi a naughty smile. Ishwari, unsuspecting as she was, said "Haan nutrition, tu chalegi na mere saat? Mujhe accha lagega" Sona had no choice but to agree. Dev "Aur haan Miss.Bose, apna kaam ho jaane ke baad ek baar mujhe miliye, aapse baat karni hain" He smiled and left.
Sona went to Dev's room where he was taking off his shirt to change to his night wear (as usual). He had just unbuttoned his shirt when she saw him. She looked down and said "Oh! Sorry" Dev walked upto her, came very close and said "Ab toh sharmane ki zaroorat nahin hain" Sona "Waise bhi aap itne paas hote ho toh main kho jaati hun, change kar lijiye" and smiled and looked down again. He then came back in a minute while Sona sat on the bed. When he got back, he sat facing her and she said: "Dev, Aapne mujhe kyun bulaya party mein?" Dev faced her took her hands in his hands and kissed them lightly and replied " Sona, ab tak mere life mein meri family hi sab se important thi, ab toh tum bhi us list mein add hui ho, toh duniya ko dikha toh dun tum mere liye kitni important ho" She was stunned with his reply and said Dev, kya karne wale ho aap! Please koi gadbad mat karna" to which he replied "Sona, trust me. Bus mere aur Maa ke saat aajao kal. Ok?" Sonakshi then smiled and said "Ok".
In the evening, Dev dropped her back home. Both were talking about the next day. Sonakshi: "Bahut bade log aayenge! Main kya karungi wahan par! Main toh auntyji ke saat hi rahungi" Dev: "Mere saat nahin rahogi kya?" Sona blushed and said "I wish main aapke saat hi har waqt reh paati, but u know it is not possible" Dev: "Hmmm, main agar aisa kuch karun ki kal aap har waqt mere saat hi reh paaye toh?" Sonakshi "Mr.Dixit, jaise maine us din kaha tha, aapka naam Dev hain, aap sach mein Bhagwan nahin ho" Dev: "Of course, par us din baarish toh hui thi, jaise maine socha tha" Sona: "Woh toh aapki good luck thi" Dev "Shayad kal bhi main lucky ho jaun ;)"
They reached outside Sonakshi's house. Sona said "Bye Dev, kal milte hain" Dev "Sonakshi, apni aankhen band karo" Sona was surprised, but closed her eyes. Dev picked up a package from behind and placed it in her hands. Sona smiled brightly when she saw it and said "Wow! yeh gift kis khushi mein" Dev "Kal party mein yeh pehen lena" Sonakshi was very excited and smiled and hugged him and left.
Sonakshi went home and immediately wanted to open her gift. She saw a beautiful blue dress. A lovely turquoise full-length dress with a slight shimmering border. A perfect evening gown for Mr.Dixit's partner. Sona was really thrilled and wondered if Dev had chosen it or asked Tina to buy it. She immediately texted him saying "Aapki choice hain ya Tina ki?" Dev replied "Maine aapke liye 1 ghanta spend karke ye dress choose kiya aur aap aise puch rahi hain!" Sona "It's beautiful, abhi pehenke dekhti hun" She put it on and realized that it was extremely loose on her body. She was almost swallowed in the dress. Elena who was passing by looked at her and laughed out loud and said "Kis buddhu ne tujhe itni badi size khareed di? Hahaha." Sona looked into the mirror and laughed as well. She called Dev immediately. Dev "Hi! So aapko mere choice acchi lagi" Sona laughed and said "Choice toh acchi hain Mr.Dixit, par aapko lagta hain ki main itni moti hoon?" Dev "Oops! Dress zyada badi ho gayi kya! Oh no! Sorry sorry. Ab kya karun main, kal kaise pehengi yeh!" Sona "Mr.Dixit, relax, it's ok. Kal subah jaakar main size change kar lungi" Dev said "Naraaz toh nahin hain na aap" Sona "Dev, aapne itne pyaar se dress khareedke di, naraaz kyun hongi main?" They both were happy and had a good night's sleep.
