On a Sunday, Dev and Sonakshi went on a movie date and he wanted to drop her back at her place. Her family was visiting someone so no one was at home. After the movie, she asked him to accompany her into her house, so that they could spend some time together.
Sonakshi's house:
Dev: "Sonakshi, main aapke ghar kaafi baar aa chuka hun, apna karma nahin dikhaya aapna kabhi."
Sona: "Haan waise aapke jaise bada karma toh nahin hain mere, chaliye dikhati hun."
Dev and Sona go to Sona's room. He looks at her dressing table, her bed with neatly placed pillows and her wardrobe. He sees some earrings and remembers her pretty face when she wore them. He sat on the couch next to her bed and was quietly observing her room. In the meanwhile, Sona brings 2 cups of coffee.
Dev: Abhi bhi tum mujhe guest ki tarah treat karogi?
Sona: Hmmm... Looking into his eyes she says, "Mr.Dixit, mujhe toh pehle se aapko boyfriend jaise treat karna tha, aapko hi itna waqt laga." she said, teasing him.
Dev looked a little hurt and said, "Sorry Sonakshi, main toh samajh bhi nahin paunga ki us waqt aap par kya beet rahi hogi, Maine tumko kitna hurt kiya."
Sonakshi: "Dev, jaise aapne mujhe itne pyaar se propose kiya, mere saare dard door ho gaye. I feel like the luckiest girl in the world." she said, giving him a lovely smile. Dev then smiled too and both of them drank their coffees in smiles.
When they were done, they relaxed on the couch and their hands accidentally touched. This time, Sona did not pull her hand away. Dev waited a few seconds and then entwined his fingers into hers. Sona was feeling thrilled and she blushed. Dev smiled too and said "Main zyaada romance ke baare mein jaanta toh nahin hun, par aapka haat mere haat mein accha lag raha hain" Sona tightened her grip and Dev was happy.
They continued talking for a while, after which they both started feeling hungry.
Sonakshi: "Dev, mujhe thodi bhook lag rahi hain, kuch khane chalen? Dev "Kya aapko mere haat ka sandwich itna bura laga tha?" Sona looked puzzled and said ,"Aise kyun bol rahe hain aap?" Dev:"Aapke ghar mein privacy hain, yahin kuch banake kha lete hain na? Baahar gaye toh aapka haat bhi nahin pakad paunga"
Sonakshi blushed and said, "Ok sure" They both walked hand in hand into the kitchen where Sona was searching for bread. There was no bread at home, and she found a pack of noodles and exclaimed "Arre mujhe toh noodles banani aati hain!" Dev: "Wah Sonakshi, kitna complex dish hain Maggi noodles! Tum sure ho ki tum theek se bana logi?" said Dev, teasing her.
Sonakshi: "Mr.Dixit, ab dekhiye mera kamal, just wait and watch"
Dev then went to the living room and switched on the TV. In five minutes, Sonakshi had made and served the noodles onto one bowl with a single fork. She sat next to him. Dev "Wow, that looks good" Sonakshi wanted to be romantic, so she took some noodles, twisted in on the fork and fed Dev. He was surprised by her gesture, and felt really happy. She placed the fork into the bowl, waiting for him to feed her, but he did not get the clue. He continued watching TV. She waited for a minute and fed him again. He ate it very sweetly and told her "Tum bhi khao na", still not understanding that she wanted him to feed her. She said "Tumi impossible!" Dev was confused and said "Ab kya kiya maine" with a cute puppy dog face. She smiled and said, "Dev, romance ka ek lesson yeh hain ki agar apni girlfriend ke saat akele kha rahe ho, toh aapko use khilana chahiye"
Dev: "Oops! Main toh yeh jaanta hi nahin hun. Tabhi main sochun, aap sirf ek fork kyun laayi" They both laughed, enjoying this moment. Dev then fed her too. They enjoyed the rest of the meal happily.
Dev followed Sonakshi to the kitchen and helped her clear the vessels. They went back to her room. Once inside, he said to her, Sonakshi, you look beautiful. She blushed. Her took her hands in his hands and said "Main bahut lucky hun ki aap mere life mein hain, I love you" She kissed him on his cheek, Dev felt butterflies in his stomach and his happiness knew no bounds. She hugged him and said "I love you Dev".
Dev then said "Sona, I love this feeling. Tumhare saat hona, tumhara haat mere haat mein hona, ye sab kuch. Agar kabhi mujhse koi bhi galti hoti hain, toh mujhe bata dena. Main agar romantic nahin hun, toh mujhe sikha dena. Mujhe toh itna bhi nahin ehsaas hua ki mujhe tumko khilana hain, ya phir tumko kabhi kabhi kiss bhi kar sakta hun"
Sonakshi looked and him and smiled and said "Romance ki doosri tip, just go with flow Dev, bus apni dil ki suniye, sab samajh jayenge". After this, they enjoyed the rest of the evening together (left to the reader's imagination 😉).
