Miss Caretaker Last Part

Hello, m I talking to Mr Dev?" he clutched his phone tight as the caller said his name...
"Yes..." he breathed out
"Hume ek ladki ki body mili hai...highway pe accident Hua tha...uski phone me apka number Mila aur unke passport me unka naam bhi hai...Sonakshi Bose do u know her?" The caller asked from other side...
dev fell on the floor, his whole body is shaking...
ved clutched his shirt tight trying to gain his attention...
His past flashed in front of her eyes...how he and sona met in the hospital...how she fall in love with him...and how she left him for what he had blamed her for natasha's death .sona came into his life like a wind of winter...sometimes soothing his inner turmoil and sometimes destroying his wishes like a Strom...
he never wanted to give in to her apologetic eyes...her pleads ... Her love but somewhere his heart melted when he saw her with ved...her unconditional love for ved...her protectiveness towards him...she never fails to take care of ved...her love for ved is beyond any blood relation...
"Cheater! You left me again...once again you broke your promises..." A sob escaped from his mouth...
" Dev...dev wake up..." he jolted up his lashes only to find her sitting beside him looking at him intently...
he stared at her blankly...
"Dev what happened? Hua kya? Why were u crying in sleep ? Even ved is trying to wake you up...see" she said pointing towards ved who is currently pulling dev's hair...

"Tum" he said still not believing it was a dream...
"Ha main?" sona looked at him confusingly
"how did u come here?" he mumbled touching her face
"Matlab? Chalke aayi yaar! Pagal ho gaye ho kya?" sona shook him a little and on the next moment she found him throwing himself in her crrok of her neck drenching her kurti with his tears...
"dev..." she hold him against her chest caressing his hair softly...
"nightmare...i saw you left me like everyone...i...was...scared..." he said between his hiccups...
"You thought I will leave u? Really? He chuckled wiping her face...
he sniffed nodding his head...looking extremely cute...sona thought who is more cute ved or his father...
she quickly flopped a kiss on his forehead making him smile after ages...
"I swear on my son dev...kabhi chod k nehi jaungi tujhe...no matter what happens...agar jhagda bhi Hua na main kan pakad k sorry bol dungi jaise hum bolte the pehle but kabhi bhi tumhe chod ke nehi jaungi...never..." she promised pressing her forehead against him...
he closed his eyes anticipating their first lip lock but nothing came as such...her lips touched his forehead and eyes this time...
"Ab bohot Hua sona...tumhe pata hai I m a certified gadha mujhe propose karna to aata nehi...par kya tum iss gadhe ko accept karogi ? Mere sath ved ke ptms attend karogi ? Please! I promise Mai sab kuch karuga tere liye ,please man ja" He said looking directly in her eyes...
She inched closer and cupped his face...
"kya kar rehi hai sona? ved hai yaha" He mumbled judging her moves...
She chuckled pinching his nose...
"Chal kar liya accept tera ghatiya proposal...humesha yaad rakhna ye tu...and I love you my gadha" She pecked his cheek hugging him tightly...
"I love you too but not more than my baby..." He replied pulling ved in his lap...
Sona kept her head on his shoulder while ved hugged his stomach partially lying on his lap enjoying his parents' warmth...
dev closed his orbs pulling them closer to him...finally his story is completed as he have his love and his son by his side...


"ved...come back" I shouted but my son didn't pay a heed to my order and continued with his running session around the whole hall...
"ved...come beta pls...dad is tired" I pouted sitting on a chair...
"Uffo daddy...you are getting old..." My baby said hugging me from back...
"Yes I m getting old after all my baby turned 24 some days ago" I said kissing his palm...
I really can't believe that how time flew away and my baby became a young macho manl...
All these years sona stood beside me like my pillar of support and encouragement...she holds my hand everytime when I was about fall...she embraced ved in her motherly love and gave him the life he deserve...without her it was impossible for me to raise ved in such way...
ved is basically his mother's boy who got everything he wished for but dev's morals didn't let him grow up as a spoilt brat in spite of having everything...he made him learn the lessons of life...gave him the strength to become independent...

"daddy ... You only love bhaiya..." My trance broke as my naughty girl walked into the hall...

"Samira...don't say like this...dad loves u as much as he loves me" ved told her sister...
I remember how I used say these things to mom...and how natasha used to say me the same thing...i miss her...a lot...but we can't change destiny's decision...
ved caressed his tired sister's head lovingly and kissed her forehead...i found him more like sona when ever he did it...he looks like natasha but her every habit is like sona...his point of view on life...his selflessness...his unconditional love for everyone...everything he got from sona only...
"thinking about me Mr.Dikshit?" I shivered as my wife whispered near my ears...my children are gone to spend some time with each other by then and my ever romantic wife caught the chance to romance with me...
"Yes...my love" I whispered back standing up from the chair and cupped her face...
Those wrinkles and some strands of grey hair made her look more beautiful these days...i thought kissing her cheek...
My world is contained with her love and respect for me...and I know my babies are going to follow her path only...i am lucky to have her in my life more than that my babies are lucky to have her as their mother...
