Aren't people who are in love in some kind of magical spell? Love is lot like magic. It makes you feel like you can do anything & no hurdle is too great to overcome. All of a sudden they're under this spell which they themselves aren't aware of. Everything is oblivious to them. They are so mesmerized in this phase that they don't know what they end up doing.
It started as a silly tantrum for Sona. The previous night Dev told her that they would've breakfast together the next morning, but he'd already left for work. He'd his reasons for not being around. Firstly, everyone was scrutinizing him like he was under a microscope, so he didn't want to be dissected. He didn't want them to know he'd changed. He needed time as he was slowly beginning to accept the new him. And secondly, he'd gone to get Sona a gift. Sona was lost in her thoughts when Radha Rani walked in to the kitchen to spurt some venom. She as always had to rub it in that Dev was paying her too much money for this silly job. I was so glad that Sona gave it back to her. With a sarcastic smile she said, "I know my job very well. Anyways, thank you for the motivation." Way to go girl! 👏 She always cringed whenever Radha Rani said anything to her. Sona till date never retaliated, but this time she didn't care a damn & gave it back to her in a subtle way. Dev babu, please buy Radha Rani a ticket to Japan & make sure she never comes back!
As, Sona was sulking & thinking about Dev, he comes home just to see her. He was really sorry for not being there in the morning. He says, "I'm really sorry Sonakshi." There was a time, when he didn't know how to apologize to her & he'd written a sorry note & today he's begging her to forgive him... 😳 How soon love changes a person. But Sona wasn't ready to listen to him. Dev was prepared to be punished for this mistake & he was willing to do anything to make it up to her. Sona was beginning to enjoy this, and she challenged him to eat some chillies, since he hadn't eaten anything since morning. Poor Dev was shocked & asked her, "Aap sach mein chahati mein mirchi kaloon?" Sona was just fooling around, saying that she wanted to see if he was really sorry or not & he'd to prove that he was a man of his words by eating those chillies. But to her shock, Dev started eating them one by one. Her eyes filled up with tears, as she couldn't believe what she was seeing. Her behaviour was so childish & Dev took everything what she had said seriously. The burning sensation was releasing a flood of spasms. Dev's face was turning red, his eyes were tearing up & he was still chewing on a chilli when Sona asked him to stop. She was angry at herself because she was just being silly. Whereas, Dev wanted to prove it to her that he was really sorry. She gave him some milk, to reduce the burning sensation. She was guilty, that because of her stupidity, Dev had to go through so much pain. She was in tears because she knew she was wrong. Love does make people say/do unreasonable things, to the extent that sometimes it doesn't make sense. It's like you don't have control over your senses. Life in a whole has gone from mundane to magic & this change is something so huge that you can never be prepared for. You'll expect the unexpected. She expected Dev to walk away from eating those chillies, but to her horror he ate them to prove he was really sorry.
Loved their aap' & tum' conversation. One minute ago Sona's behaviour was childlike & the next minute she's all mature when she realized that she was wrong. Dev tells her to smile & not to be angry at herself. They were in their own world that they hadn't realized that Radha Rani was watching them. Radha Rani asks Dev what he was doing in the kitchen. He says, "File se kehene aya tha ki mujhe coffee bana de, aur kichu bhaiya..." I cracked up like crazy when he said this 🤣 🤣. Dev, dev, dev you've had us tongue tied in numerous occasions! Shaheer's reaction was simply awesome. Dev has lost it completely. I was so glad that Radha Rani didn't hear their entire conversation. When Dev & Sona are on the screen, I never get to concentrate on their dialogues. My heart begins to race, just by the mere thought of RR roaming around the house like a bhatakthi aatma. They really need to be AWARE!
Sona was craving to be near Mr. Dixit 😉 But Nikki stops her, as she wanted Sona to read an article on heartbeats & how it increases when you're in love with someone. The moment she hears pyar & heartbeats Sona is all lost. She puts her hand on her chest to check if the pace of her heartbeat had gone up. She then looks at Dev, who is standing far away from them & she's completely unaware of Nikki standing next to her. She's spellbound by Dev & when Nikki asks her if she was in love, Dev nods his head & she nods her head too as if she was hypnotized by him. She then comes out of her trance & fumbles to Nikki saying NO. Meanwhile, Ishwari notices Dev hovering around like a thief...🤣 Dev's expression was brilliant. I like the way Dev is handling all his goof ups with ace. When you are so attracted to a person, you lose the ability to think rationally. And that's what we saw. They were completely unaware of what's happening around them. They definitely do need to spend some time together alone. Meals with Dev's family, stolen kitchen moments, car drive moments are not going to quench their desperation of wanting to be with each other. The scene where Dev signals Sona to come up to his room after lunch was so adorable. I was sure someone would definitely see him & thank god it was Kichu bhaiya. 🤣 Am sure Kichu bhaiya already knows that something is brewing between them. 😉Sona looked giddy & beautiful in love with that smile on her face. The background song was soothingly beautiful. So happy that Beyond Dreams are coming out with some really original stuff. Shaheer was adorably drool worthy in that black shirt & Erica looked like a doll. Continue charming us guys.
Coming to think of it, aren't we all too spellbound by Dev & Sona's magic? This show holds such a special place in my heart. Feels too good to be real!!
