DevAkshi One Shot: With Each Kiss

"Mr. Dixit, aap ne mujhe yaha kyun bulaya?" Sonakshi asks, walking into Dev's bedroom.

"Toh kahan hai?" She asks, lightly touching the top of his wrists with hers.

"Yahan..." He trails off looking down at her visage.

"Kahan?" She asks impatiently, stomping her foot with a pout on her face.

Dev smiles looking at her child like antics.

"You're so cute." He says, pinching her cheeks.

Swatting them away, she rubs her cheeks.

"Kya Dev! Koi aisa bhi karta hai kya? Agar surprise ni dena toh bolo. Mein jaa ri hoon." Sonakshi threatens, turning around to walk away from the room.

"Eehh, Shona," Dev calls out, grabbing onto her wrist. "Itni bhi kya jaldi hai?"

"Mujhe Mummyji ko khaana dena hai."

"Uss ke liye Kichu hai." Dev locks Sonakshi into his arms by hugging her from behind. "Aur tumne Maa ko Mummyji kaha, acha laga." He answers with a smile, his nose pressing into the top of her head.

Blushing, Sonakshi tries to break out of the lock, but is pressed closer to Dev's body. His arms wind tighter around her waist as he takes in a deep breath.

"Dev, mujhe jaana hai." She says softly.

"Abhi bhi jaana hai?" He asks trailing his fingertips over the cloth on her waist.

Taking in a sharp breath, she answers, "Haan."

He nudges his nose against the side of her head and begins to trace it down the length of her neck. His deep, slow breaths kept washing over her like an intoxicant.

"Abhi bhi?"

Sonakshi's lips tremble before she answers with another yes.

His hands continue to trail up her body, gently brushing over her bosom, to rest onto her shoulders. Turning her around, Dev sees her eyes closed and lips trembling horribly.

"Sonakshi, open your eyes."

A deeper red creeping onto her cheeks, Sonakshi pushes his hands away and runs towards the open doorway. Dev running behind her, reaches his hands out and closes the door before she could leave. Trapping Sonakshi between the brown oak door and his body, he presses himself into her.

"Don't go." He pleads, his breath washing over the top of her head.

Sonakshi's fingers curl against the smooth door. Dev removes her locks so that he could see her face more easily.

"Hey Shona," He calls with a tease on his lips. "Look at me,"

With a quiet smile, she shakes her head.

"Kyun? Vaise toh din bhar mujhe ankhein phad phad ke dekhti ho. Ab jab mein tumhe permission de ra hoon, dekh toh lo."

Turning around with her eyes wide, Sonakshi defends herself.

"Mein kab aap ko dekh thi hoon? Dekh the toh aap rehte ho mujhe."

"Acha?" Dev asks feigning ignorance. "Kaise dekh tha hoon Ms. Bose?"

"Aap," Sonakshi begins but then stops herself remembering the intensity that is always prevalent in his gaze. The fire, the passion that threatens to consume her... the same gaze that is evident in the way he is looking at her right now. "Jaise abhi."

"Kaise?" He asks, stepping closer.

He wraps a hair lock over his finger but keeps his gaze locked onto her face. Those doe like eyes that are captivated by his actions.

"Aise kya dekh ri ho?"

"Aap ke jadoo ko."

"Tujh par chara hai kya?"

"Zorro se."

Bending his head down, he asks, "Kitni zor se?"

"Bohot.." She trails off.

"Agar mein kuch bhi maangu, do gi?"

Her eyes locked onto his eyes, she slowly nods her head. There was a haze that had washed completely over her. She wasn't sure if it was the humid weather, or the close proximity that was brought on by Dev, but she was completely hypnotized. Her body was completely relaxed but it was filled with jitters. It was tense with the anticipation of what was about to transpire but it was also excited.

Dev leans down closer until Sonakshi could feel his eyelashes sweeping over her cheeks.

"Poochu?" He whispers.

Sonakshi responds with a simple shake of her head, knowing full well what it was that he was asking for. He had been dropping little hints throughout the whole week. Sometimes humming out the Main Hoon Na song by putting an emphasis on the kis or putting on Emraan Hashmi films considering them to be romantic. Of course, not that he watched any of them. He would simply leave them on as a background noise. But he made sure that she saw a clip or two. Obviously the scenes she got to watch were Emraan having a full on make-out with his co-actress.

"M-May I?" He still asks.

With a blushing smile, Sonakshi nods her head. As Dev winds his arms around her waist and pulls her up towards him, she wraps her arms around his neck, sealing their lips together. It wasn't anywhere near what she expected. His lips were soft and wet, his scruff was rubbing against her cheeks. The departing of their lips wasn't that long as he quickly rejoined them again. His fingertips pressing deeper into the small of her back, his throat eliciting low growls. Her fingers curled against the soft blue material of his shirt but slipped due to the sweat that had started to accumulate against her palms.

When they parted, their heavy pants mingled with each other becoming intimate on a whole different level.

Dev looked at Sonakshi's face, her eyes were still closed and her mouth was still open. But they weren't trembling anymore. They were more supple. They looked full, and the remnants of Dev's saliva were still clinging to her soft lips. Dev swiped a thumb over it and felt her sharp intake of breath.

Opening her eyes, she saw Dev's pupils were blown wide with desire. His light orbs were dark with a raw desire that was beginning to consume him. Sonakshi noticed the way his chest began to heave faster, his cool, minty breath washing over her face in quick successions. She also didn't fail to notice how his body began to press itself closer, and harder, into her. A deep knot began to form in the pit of her stomach, while a tingling sensation made itself apparent deep within her. She knew all about the technical aspects of the way that their bodies were responding to each other, but the emotional aspects that were controlling their actions, sending their resistance slowly out the window... that was foreign to her. But knowing that she was surrendering herself in this manner for the very first time to a man like Dev, she didn't mind. Not one bit.

"Dev," Sonakshi speaks with panted breath, "Do you remember what you had told me the day you professed your love to me?"

Dev scrunches his eyebrows as he tries to remember as to what exactly Sonakshi was referring to. He had spoken so much that day and had ended off with a euphoric feeling.

"That you love me like a man loves a woman." Sonakshi clarifies while releasing a long and heavy breath.

Her eyes dart down to his lips again and he takes the hint. There has been too much respect and too much politeness in their relationship thus far. While the respect they have is always going to remain, it's about time they took the step forward and started claiming rights onto each other. Like, now.

Dev pushes Sonakshi against the frame of the door while he crashes his lips against hers. Moving more wildly than before, he scoops her up so that she was of equal height as him. Bearing her weight against the door, Sonakshi rests her arms around Dev's neck and snares her fingers into the soft locks of his hair. His musky cologne wafts over her while his minty breath cools her down. The constant fluctuation of the smells sends her senses into an overdrive, sending her eyes rolling back into her head.

When they parted, Dev hid his face against the crook of her neck which took her by surprise. His nips and quick bites sent a whole new set of pleasuring sensations down her body.

"Ow!" She shrieked with a giggle.

Dev who grinned right back, kissed her again, holding her in his arms. Carrying her, he relished in the fact that he was able to carry her weight with such ease. Having her suspended in mid-air with only him to rely on, sent a whole new feeling of power. It coursed through his veins and pumped his blood with great vigor.

Crashing down onto the bed, he kissed her until her lips got swollen and bruised. Red and wet with each other's fluid, their pupils dilated as they sank into each other with this new feeling of euphoria. Their kisses alternated from being sweet and slow to rough and hard. They stayed like that, interlocked, flesh rubbing against flesh, exchanging fluids, for a long time.

When they departed, they laid beside each other for hours on end. With Dev's arm snaking around her waist, Sonakshi had fallen into a deep sleep listening to Dev's even breathing beside her. When she wakes up, she sees Dev's peaceful face sleeping away without any wrinkles of worry being spread on it. She runs her hand through his hair. She smiles softly as she remembers the way she was tugging on them just a few hours ago. Sonakshi chuckles as a faint stab in her lip reminds her of the way Dev had pulled hardly on her bottom lip in response. She touches her lips gently and feels how full they are. She can't remember the last time she had felt this way. She used to have a habit of biting on her lip due to her nervousness as a child but that had stopped a long time ago. Her swollen lips today brought upon a whole new set of nerves. They weren't for something of despair or something that she dreads over. Rather, it's a nerve of excitements. Nerves that dare her to cross new limits and try something new. Something forbidden, something thrilling.

"What are you thinking of?" Dev asks in his sleep.

Sonakshi refrains from speaking and decides to focus her attention in memorizing the way his sleepy voice sounded like. Rough, slow and unclear. The total opposite of how Dev presents himself in his conscious and controlled state.

"Shona," He calls out, pressing into Sonakshi's side to nudge her to talk.

"Hmm," She responds, her eyes still glazed over as she stares onto his face.

Slowly opening his eyes, Dev takes a deep breath to get rid of the fatigue that had taken over his body. Looking at her, he releases his breath as a smile spreads over his lips.

"Can we wake up like this every morning?" Dev asks, his eyes filled with dreams.

"If you want." Sonakshi responds, still lost in the world that she had created.

Dev grabs hold of one of her hands and picks it up slowly. Interlocking their fingers, he stares at them while he thinks about them. Looking back at Sonakshi, he runs a free hand gently over her hair and can't help but smile.

"What's so funny?" She asks.

Dev shakes his head silently as his mouth splits into a grin.

Nudging on his chest, she asks again, "Tell me."

Dev lifts himself up slightly to place a soft, gentle kiss on her forehead. He lowers himself down to place a few more on her eyes, her nose, her cheeks then to the crook of her neck. Sonakshi hums in pleasure as she offers up neck for him to access even more. With each kiss, he offers up more of his love for her body to soak in. With each kiss, he cements himself further and stronger into her life in a way that no one will ever be able to replace. With each kiss, he is becoming her first, and with each kiss, she's becoming his.

Going on top of her, Dev presses himself against her body and seals her lips with his finding his kisses to be the best medium of delivering his unspoken messages of love.

With their hands interlocked with each other, their breaths became one once more.
