Hey,
Where are you?Missing this already. How awesome was this weeks episodes and today Dev-Sona scene in his bedroom threshold was just toe curling awesome.Cant wait for what you write about them now. 😉btw- Orange is really the new Black!! 😆
Part 1
Dev walked out of his dressing room and turned towards Sona's. It was locked from outside. He frowned and looked around, when he spotted a spot boy, "Arre, Bhai, where is Sona?"
"I don't know Bhaiya..." He replied and went. Dev took out his phone to call her, and then he saw her messages, all 8 of them.
"Where are you?"
"Call Me"
"Shall I wait for you?"
"I am going to leave in 5 mins"
"Dev?"
"There?"
"I am leaving"
"Bye".
"Oh Shit!" He exclaimed and rushed out towards the car parking. "She didn't bring her car today... How did she go?" He thought.
He opened his car and kept his things. He was about to sit in the car when he saw her chatting to Natasha, one of their newest co-stars. He gave a sigh of relief and walked up to them.
"Hi Dev!" Natasha chirped.
"Hello... shoot over?" He asked, stealing a glance at Sona.
"No, I have a few scenes with Ishwari Aunty"
"Oh! Ya Ma was telling me..." He said, not knowing what to say further. Everyone fell silent.
"Okay then, I'll take your leave" Natasha finally said breaking the awkwardness.
"Bye, Natasha" Sona bid and started towards the main gain of the set campus.
Dev with pure agility caught her hand and pulled her towards him, but unfortunately, it, being real life, Sona instead of dreamily crashing onto his broad chest, tumbled and Dev just managed to save her from falling on her face.
"What are you doing Dev?" She uttered irritated.
"I am so sorry... I thought I'll be able to hold onto you" He said sheepishly.
"It's okay." She said, releasing her hand from his grip.
"Chalo, let's go. I'll drop you" He asked doubtfully, already sensing her anger.
"No need, Mr. Busy Man, I'll book an Ola" She uttered angrily.
"Achcha? If that is so, then why didn't you book it all this while?" He smirked.
"You...!" Sona was spitting fire.
"I know, I know, I am hot" He smiled a cheeky smile and holding her hand, "Chalo..." He stressed, and gently pulling her to his side, started walking towards his car. Sona couldn't help but smile at his sweet gesture.
The Next Morning,
"Good Morning, Dev" Ishwari Aunty, who played the role of Dev's character, Arjun's mom, wished Dev.
"Hi Ma, Good Morning" He replied happily.
Soon after that they began their shoot. Dev and Ishwari Aunty shared a great rapport off screen and this was visible not only to the people on sets by also to the fans thanks to a beautiful SBS news episode where Dev had revealed how much he respected her and how he called her Ma off screen also. That interview had also portrayed the understanding and comfort they shared with each other. Dev had mentioned how Ishwari Aunty understood his moods and handled him.
Sonakshi walked in 2 hours later. She looked around in search of Dev, but he was nowhere to be seen. She made her way towards her room and found it open. This had never happened before. She pushed open the door and immediately took two steps backward. She wasn't really, what one calls, brave. Seeing no effect, she gulped and slowly made her way into the dark room. She extended her hand towards the left wall in search of the switch board, when she felt someone's hand grabbing hers. She was about to scream when another hand covered her mouth tightly. Her eyes widened and slowly began to become teary. She was not able to make out who it was, as the room was dark and now tears blurred her vision. Her heart skipped a beat the moment she heard a whisper, "Please rona mat, don't cry... " The hand moved away from her mouth. "Dev!" She uttered. She managed to switch on the light to see Dev standing in front of her, holding his ears, lower lip out. She was too shocked to say anything.
"I don't know what is happening from yesterday. Whatever I am trying to do is going wrong." Dev said sadly.
"Why were you hiding in my room, Dev?" She asked, finally.
"I wanted to apologise for yesterday." He said in a low tone.
"Apologise? By scaring me?" Her eyebrows had shot up.
"No, I never thought this would turn into a nightmare for you, sorry" Saying so he dashed out of her room.
"Dev!" She called out, but he had left. Sona sighed and sat down on the bed.
Minutes passed and she got ready for the shoot. Outside, she was searching for Dev but he was not there. She went back to his room and found him asleep. Dev had a habit of sleeping in his free time. She smiled and immediately sensed an opportunity to take revenge. She tip toed inside and "BOO!" Dev jumped out of his skin... "What? Who? You? Why? Ooo..." He was an intelligent guy, a lawyer after all, even though not by profession, but still. He didn't take much time to decipher that he had been revenged on. He smiled at her. A childish smile on its own. She noticed how his eyes smiled with him.
"So, you are not angry anymore?" He asked.
"No, ja Dev jeele apni zindagi" She giggled.
"Oh...ho!" he exclaimed. "You know what? You look good in makeup" he kidded. Sona glared at him, "Haww! I don't look good without it?"
"No no you do..." Deciding what to say next.
The spot boy came and saved him by declaring that shot was ready.
"Chale?" This time it was Sona, and Dev stood up, "Chalo!"
Shooting was actually fun. The sequence was that, Sonakshi and Dev were stuck in the dark as there was a power cut. The lights on sets were dimmed and that too, to such an extent that it was actually hard to make out things around. Dev and Sona, rather, Arjun and Ashna i.e. Sona's character, were on a search for candles spree. The shoot wasn't as smooth as it was going to be telecast. Sona banged onto to Dev and fell on her butt. Dev witnessed this and couldn't stop laughing. Sona hit him on his leg and then, Dev helped her stand up, "Hahaha... I hope your bones... you know B for bones are not hurting much" he chuckled.
"Haha, not funny" she commented.
"You want an ice bag to sit on?" He winked and turned to find the SBS team approaching him. He quickly turned to Sona and whispered, "On a serious note, are you OK? Do you want me to take you to a doctor?" Sona smiled noticing the concern in his eyes, "I'm fine"
Dev smiled at the reporter, "Hello..."
That evening,
Sona was leaving for home and Dev still had some shoot left. He walked her out of the set, "Drive safe and avoid bumpers" He said with a straight face. Not able to understand his joke, Sona frowned, "Hain? What?" Unable to hold onto the seriousness any longer he started laughing loudly. Sona hit him again, "Unbelievable" she spat. She sat inside her car and popping her head out, "Bye..."
"Bubye, Kal milte hai..." Dev waved at her and she drove off. Smiling he entered the sets.
On his way back home, he felt he should go and check on his friend. So he dropped by at Sona's house. They had been shooting for a while now and they connected well since their first day of shoot. They had become very good friends now and both were happy to have each other as co stars. No matter what everyone else said they knew they would always be friends and nothing more. But Dev had once said in an interview, "You can't think and plan to fall for someone , you can't control that."
