SS - After Realization Part 5 on Page 6 with Confession & Romance

I am new here but have been ardently following all the posts and stories here and love reading them. After yesterdays realization, I have tried to pen down how will Dev react and confess his feelings to Sona.

SS - After Realization

Dev closed his eyes to find his very close friend Dr. Bose. First he thought its a mistake and frowned over himself and his sisters but then chose a silent corner in his room to repeat the same exercise that his sisters asked him to do. He closed his eyes to find his beautiful Dr. Bose and was happy to see her as his dream girl. But when he came to reality he was struck with the fact that he has to deal with Natasha before turning his dream into reality, He spent hours thinking what to do but at last decided that more than the business deal, his life and his happiness was important. He cannot marry Natasha as he shares no special relation with her, He loves spending time with Dr. Bose and once married to Natasha, he wont be able to spend as much time with Dr. Bose, He has to refuse the engagement and went to ishwari to say that Natasha is ag ood girl but he would not be happy with her anytime. ishwari asks him about the business deal and dev replies that its fine if his hardwork goes in vain but he cannot afford to lose his love of his life... in his thoughts he was thinking about Sonakshi.

He was nervous to call Natasha but he had too. He spoke to her telling her that she is a wonderful girl and anyone would like to have her as a life partner. But he is sorry, he cannot love her as his priorities are different and he cannot commit to her. He did not tell her about his feelings for Sonakshi as he himself did not know if DR. Bose felt the same for him. But he made it clear to Natasha that he cannot go ahead with the engagement now and doesn't want to ruin her life. She deserves to be happy and he cannot give her the happiness she wants. Natasha understood but was sad too. She just said ok and wishes Dev all the best in achieving his priorities.

The next thing Dev had to do was to speak to Mr. Gujral. Ishwari was ready to speak to him but Dev realized that due to the business deal he himself would have to make certain things clear. He told Mr. Gujral that he too wants Natasha to be happy but he cannot give her the hapiness as his priorities are different. He had anticipated that Mr. Gujral will cut off the business deal and he accepted it with whole heart.

Even if his efforts had all gone in vain regarding this business deal, he was happy for it as now his life had been some what sorted out. He happily went down in their living room to share the news with everybody . Ishwari supported his decision and defended his son when he declared to all that the engagement is called off.

He was so happy internally that he just was thinking of his Dr, Bose when he was returning back to his room. he closed his door and lied on the bed with a smile on his face. The turmoil in his head had ended and he had just one focus now ... " Dr. Sonakshi Bose". Her face flashed back in his eyes ,... when he was wearing her the ring, then came the garden image where she was washing her face... He said to himself " how beautiful she is". Why did not I realize her beauty for so long .. . Why do I like spending time with her .. whenever I donot see her I run to her. I feel so comfortable talking to her about any subject. For all the solutions I ask her for help and hapilly accepts what she tells me. I just forget who I am and let her take control of me... Is this love ? Is this what Neha and Dr. Bose always talk about ?

I am in love that means ... He smiled and took a pillow near him and hugged it tight. He was now feeling the same that Neha and Dr. Bose said ...flying in the air, feeling wonderful even if outside its very hot. He needed to confirm whether this is exactly love or not... His hands reached out to his phone to dial Sonakshi ...

His hands reached out to call Sonakshi ...

He was about to dial, when he felt bit nervous...a new feeling which he never had before. He did not know how will he ask her whats happening to him. His heart did not listen to what he was thinking and his hands automatically dialled Dr.bose s number.

Sona was shocked seeing dev's call. She was wondering , its his important day and why is he calling her.She decided to ignore since she knew that he would soon be Natasha's and its not right to talk to him now. Here Dev was getting restless. Why isn't she not receiving my call. What is she doing ? Is she unwell ? Has her OFF-ON Fever again come back ? I must talk to her. He again dialled her number but in vain ... he then tried Saurabh Bose number. He received and he asked him where is Sonakshi. Saurabh mentioned Sona must be in her room as she is not feeling well. Hearing that she is still unwell, his heart sank. He wanted to just go and meet her. Back of the mind while he was planning to go to her house, Saurabh gave Sona the call. Sona says " Hello " . Listening to her voice, dev felt thud in his heart... He was speechless .her voice just made his heart beat faster. He could realize how different his heart was feeling now. He too said " Hello " and the again went silent. He was smiling on the phone but just couldn't say anything further. Sona spoke " Mr. Dikshit, is everything fine ? why are you calling me now ? You must be busy in your engagement ! If you have called me to persuade me to come, please I am unable to come as I am not well. Please don't force me, I cannot come at all. Sona said irritatingly and with lots of hurt. Tears ran down again and she started crying. Dev came to his senses and could hear her voice going down and asked her Dr. Bose , what happened ? He realized that her voice was sad but he felt its because she is unwell. Are you so sick, I am coming to see you, right now and cut the call. He could not hold himself after listening to her sad voice. He immediately left.

Here Sona is shocked as she is unable to know how can he come while he must be busy in his engagement. She had stopped crying as again Dev had surprised her by calling her. He hadn't spoken much but still his last lines were soothing for Sona. While she was still wondering, thinking how can he come, he was already there at the door. The doorbell was ringing and no body was opening the door. Sona came back to senses when she realized Sourabh had told her that he has to urgently take everyone else to one of their relatives. He had taken Sona's phone instead as she was speaking on his phone with Dev. She went to open the door and saw Dev standing in front of her. There was wonderful eyelock between the two with our very sweet title track in background. Both looking at each other and lost in their own world. Dev lost in her beauty and sona lost in Dev. Dev had managed to wear Sona's fav orange color in the meantime. Had combed his hair well and while leaving he too glanced himself once in his mirror if he looked well . He had never bothered about his look before but he had to now for Sona... to impress her and to make her fall for him.

Both came back to sense. Dev again raised his hand to check Sona's fever. Sona had been crying so frequently since yesterday that her body temperature had really shooted high up. Dev could feel the fever and with concern asked her how is she. She said with a heavy heart she is ok and there was no need for him to leave his engagement and come down to just ask her how is she.

Dev automatically becomes naughty when he is with sona and with his witty humour mentioned the engagement is over and all had gone home. He had time so he came to check on Sona. Sona was again surprised how can the engagement be over so early. She asked " was it early morning or you could not control yourself and got engaged last night itself ?" Dev could sense the sarcasm and decided to tease Sona. " How well do you know me Ms. Bose " really I couldn't control my excitement "

Sona secretly checks Dev's hand for the ring and finds no ring on it. She asks where is the ring ? and he says in a serious tone " its with you ". Sona says " what ?" Mr . Dixit I feel you are unwell and need to rest as your excitement has caused lot of exertion and you are not in your senses.

Dev says " Ms. Bose, please can I come inside ? and we can continue our fight. Or would you like to hear the truth!! And he smiles wittily.
