I wrote 2 stories with intense Dev. But, I want him restricted in my mind. And not in the show. I mean, Dev is too cool to display that kind of masculinity to win hearts. 😳😆😆 He doesn't have to! His quiet calm demeanour speaks volumes.

Yeah he's irritated that Sona hid the fact from him , but he should understand that bf is some thing very very personal n to be honest , they haven't reached that stage in their friendship yet.
It's not like Dev shares all his problems to her , do he ?? So his tall claim , " I share every thing with you . " is not true. Did he tell her about Neha's conditions that's bugging his mind constantly nowadays n is like a heavy weight on his shoulder ?? NO. Then , even if sona really had a bf, why'd she share that with Dev ??

I wouldn't say he was irritated. More like bafflement I would say. Like I said before, Sonakshi's two way approach, of announcing that she has a boyfriend indicating she is quite serious about him, and on the other, not liking the fact, that Dev told his sisters, he is not comprehending it yet/

I am not sure, Dev just seemed confused with the fact about her boyfriend. Jealousy is an extremely strong emotion, and he doesn't at all seem close to it. I mean, if they have introduced a new guy, it must be with a reason. In fact, i want him to realise and develop feelings for Sonakshi without this whole jealousy thing. 😆😆

As fans, we want them together, but Dev is not a DevAkshi shipper. He doesn't HAVE to fall in love just because we want them together. He WILL fall in love but there is no compulsion here.
He was pretty straightforward that, he didn't think it was something private, because she agreed for the double date, and he thought she was serious about it. If it were in the beginning stages, she wouldn't have been so vocal. Dev's logic is apt.
Why would he go around the mulberry bush wondering why she does all this. 😆😆 She is his employee, and by his own confession, a very close friend. I wouldn't use best friends. It is a very weird term. 😆😆
I don't think HE thinks its fake. I think what he is doing here is, NOT forming an opinion at all.
He understands she isn't keen on them meeting, and she finds this topic of her relationship slightly unsettling. On the other hand, she admitted to having a boyfriend and agreed for dinner. Her two way approach is what is baffling. 😆😆
Honestly, I wasn't even in agreement with this fake boyfriend idea in the first place. It was just her vanity that got wounded, when Dev said she is boring. She could have said, I am too cool to have a boyfriend, or I have no need for a guy in my life.
Secondly, I am not even liking this Neel guy. Except for his name. 😆
I don't know why, a lot of people liked yesterday's episode. Loved it rather. And, I could only put up with Dev. And his frankness. 😳

EXACTLY! I KNOW! And this fact, has made me slightly distasteful about this boyfriend sequence. See, if he would have been a good friend of hers, then great. But, she suddenly cooks up a boyfriend story so she doesn't seem boring to Dev. I mean, what crap.

Single hona koi paap hai kya? 😕 And, why does a self-confident woman need to prove her worth by having a man by her side? 🥱 I found that whole, sudden lie of boyfriend just to keep her whatever, self respect or whatever she thinks it is, intact is weird. Totally. 😕

Ah. That's nice Jyoti. I loved Dev's scenes, but disliked Sonakshi a lot yesterday. But honestly, she wasn't that bad as in some earlier episodes. Still. 😆

Naj, I'm glad that you're on Dev's side through and through.. 😳 😆most people are always downright pouring their complaints on the poor soul (myself guilty of that, I have to admit lol), so it's good to read someone explaining Dev's side of matters.

And yes, I totally agree! Dev should fall in love with Sona according to his own pace... it wouldn't be nice at all if it was rushed... I guess it's just the anticipation getting some of us viewers so pushy. 😆

Exactly. I couldn't convey everything from my phone.

But I have two points -

1. There is nothing wrong in Neel being fun loving. Amazing, awesome. He contrasts Dev's character. Okay, great. What will we do with two angry young men? 😆

But, there is one genuinely fun loving guy, and some actors just end up being wannabes. I remember, Dr. Armaan Mallik from DMG. And, in fact, I dream of HIM entering as Sonakshi's boyfriend/ the other guy. I know it won't happen, but he would have been perfect according to me! 😆😆😆

I digressed there, coming back. Ya. If Neel is really fun loving, good going guy. But, if he appears to be a wannabe, then a big no.

2. Second but MOST important thing. IF he is fun loving, he doesn't fit Sonakshi's description of a workaholic AT ALL. She said he is a bigger workaholic, he is serious, he loves his family, he doesn't smile, he keeps arguing with her.

Definitely, she described Dev. Okay, point taken.

But, if BOTH 1 and 2 happen, then, Dev will obviously figure out Sonakshi is bluffing, I mean, anybody will, and there won't be jealousy at all. 😕 I will definitely feel, Sonakshi as a character has been undermined, he her boyfriend turns out to be of a completely DIFFERENT (not bad or worse) character than what she described.

Sonakshi is an independent woman, and doesn't need a man by her side to boost her confidence. 😳
