GUYS, Sona is a career-oriented, dirven, steadfast girl in all of that but do not forget, from day one, shes a sucker for romance and she HAS wanted herself a mushy lovestory... shes ALWAYS wanted it. a girl can be ambitious, successful, busy, no-nonsense type and yet be a hopeless romantic! No conditions there!!

Till the dream sequence was on/going to be on... all of us were drooling at it because of various reasons, and now it was us "tolerating" them!? See, the theme of this show is a little different... but its not ALL that realistic either... this probably happens in homes but not EVERY home.. and we HAVE to realise its a show.. its a FICTIONAL show especially one that legit STRIVES for decent TRPs so if youre expecting it to be all realistic and stuff, well, weve chosen the wrong show!

You HAVE to be ready for cliche, and those same old plots and subplots because this is what SELLS... i dont mind cliche (except for a few pathetic stuff) and i dont mind romance, and i dont mind a bit of drama/masala either because this is one reason ANYONE would watch an indian show...

if we want reality we can go watch Pakistani Serials that are super close to reality or some american show that isnt supernatural/sci-fi/fantasy... yknow!?

What i mean is... since weve chosen an INDIAN SHOW... we HAVE to be ready for such stuff and not expect too much reality to be shown.. bas..

^agree with you serendipity👏😊 drama is an indispensable part of Indian shows.. or every show as a matter of fact. No show can be 100% realistic. There will always be some dissatisfaction in some aspect.

And about Sona, I just love Dev's character but I equally adore Sona. You are right that just because she is in love or is musht, doesn't mean she is weak or spineless👍🏼 She is still that strong career-oriented girl😊 And her inner conflict is always given a ample screen space to make it clear to us.😊

It was same in case of Nat too , I wanted her to be starkly different from Sona n I'm glad she is. Dev should see the contrast , be it good or bad , n decide.
Plus, I wouldn't mind if Neel turns out to be funny , this show does need some fun, Dev is tensed n frowning most of the days, Elena's jokes n antics are grating on our nerves since long, Sona is busy dreaming , Tina is in a hiatus of sorts , Riya-Nikki scenes n Sourav-baba-ma scenes are getting absolutely repetitive.
This show BADLY need a funny guy. It's getting boring. There's nothing wrong with having bf a guy who is easy , care free , happy go lucky , laughs aloud n makes silly jokes. Not every thing is about intense guys you know..

True. I agree. I was searching for this post couldn't find it, clarified what I thought about Neel, somewhere. 😕 Cannot find it.

I guess. THAT is one point, I missed. The one about Sonakshi wanting a mushy love story. 😆😆😆 That's true. She is driven, career oriented, but she wanted that.

I didn't mind the dream, as I said, because it had Dev in it. I liked them, only for him. What I did NOT like, was Sonakshi Elena mushy scenes, where she gushed about him, but, then, she WANTED that for herself.

And, I am not sure, what works. Coz, some shows, with a taut plot, in Hindi, and a manageable story line, with lesser predictable plots also sell. Not all have to go that way. This show, started differently. Though a lot of it is predictable, and I can understand that, but if it becomes entirely ridiculous, like some shows have, I am not naming any. Don't assume anything. 😆😆

True, I don't mind that kind of drama, to a certain extent. Only, this show has stuck SO close to reality, we tend to expect more. KRPKAB HAS stuck close to reality. To a large extent. So expectations are bound to increase. But as you also said, it is a show wanting TRPs.

Btw, I would have really liked, Dr. Armaan Mallik from DMG as this other guy or friend or whatever. He would have been SO perfect. But, pardon me, I am a crazy KSGian. 😆😆

I've watched way too many shows to count, rather recount, here... but if I've to say the ones I was completely crazy about like I am for this one, then those would be IPKKND and QH... these 2 shows were the ones I zealously followed for a long long time, and they pretty much overshadow all other memories of Indian Telly for me. 😳
