Hello everyone! Here is a little OS from my side . Here I present to you Dev In a new avatar...as a member of police force... This was to cut the weekend boredom. It's kinda lame, but pls do say what you feel! Thanks! 😆
Note- I know nothing about Delhi or the police... I'm sorry if I made any mistake. Please don't take anything personally. Did not proofread, so if any mistake, pls ignore 😆

"According to the latest news, Ms.Sonakshi Bose, from Kolkata is missing since the last few days. After thorough investigation, the locals state that she was last seen near Karol Bagh around 5:30 pm" the reports said.
"A Delhi based Doctor is reported to be missing and has not returned home since May 19th. It is reported that she was from Kolkata. Her family resides there but she had moved here in search of a job 5 years ago. She was an established Nutritionist at a mere age of 25. Has she run away? Or has something happened to her? Is she kidnapped? Nobody knows. But we will keep you updated with the latest update. Reporting live from Vasant Kunj, Delhi with camera man Ravinder for ABC news"
There was a buzz in town where a known doctor had gone missing and hasn't returned back to her apartment. Neighbors state that they have not seen her as well and thought she must be attending some conference out of town, but a missing report was filed with the police station by her family as she hasn't spoken to them ever since. Her phone was switched off and her phone's last location was Bawana. It was very odd for her to go there as there was nothing that was related to her or her profession. The police doubted that she has been kidnapped.

"Leave me! Where are you all taking me!?"
"Sir ne kaha hai ke aapko uthake lao"
"Uthake lao ka Kya matlab? Woh kaun hote hai mujhe uthane wale?"
"Izzat se bol raha hoon warna mujhe aur bhi tareeke aate hai"
Sonakshi was scared for her life. After hearing so many frightening cases happening in Delhi, she couldn't imagine what was in store for her.
She was dragged by 2 men in a quiet room and was tied to a chair, mouth was taped, and her eyes were tied up. she was left alone in the room while the other 2 men left for their smoking destination and to have food at a nearby dhaba.

"Sir, the area police is not able to detect any possible information that can help in finding Ms.Bose and her family has come to Delhi in search of her, blaming us that we are not able to do anything, but we are trying our level best sir"
"I will handle this case from now on. Give me all the details regarding this matter"
Dev held the highest rank, senior most rank in the police force at that time. He was one of the best asset of the police force as he was able to solve many cases and catch many criminals. Dev has been following this case very closely but did not have the permission to carry out the search operation as this case was in the hands of another officer. He wanted to solve this case as he knew the victim, personally.
Ever since Dev came to know that Sonakshi has been kidnapped, ever since he has been very restless, scared and was indirectly helping to find her. Nights passed, days passed but nobody was able to find her. Finally when nobody could do so, he took this case in his hands.

Dev and Sonakshi lived in the same neighborhood. They were very close friends, that they used to spend half their time in each other's houses. They used to spend so much time with each other that Dev couldn't help himself falling for her. Why wouldn't he? She was everything that a guy would want. Smart, intelligent, beautiful, mature. Everything was good until high school got over , as on the last day he was going to ask her out. But sadly he couldn't as she had left.. Left without meeting him. Didn't tell where is she going why and for what...nothing. But later he came to know that Sonakshi's grandmother was unwell , quite serious, and so ,they decided to leave for Kolkata, and he understood why she couldn't meet. Later , Dev and his family also left that area and they never spoke ever again. Dev hasn't been more surprised then now reading newspapers and watching it to find her all over it. He was scared for her. He really was. He was just thinking how could he find her, how could he help her...

"What was the last location when her phone was traced?"
"Bawana, sir. Ever since she reached her phone is switched off"
"Dammit! Let's leave for Bawana... Right now!" Dev said, authoritatively.
After reaching there, he spoke to as many people as he could , showing them her photograph trying to find some clue, but failed. He tried all the shops but did not get anything. Finally he stopped near a dhaba and asked all the people there. He asked everyone except for 2 men who had just walked in.
"Is ladki Ko kahin dekha hai?"
"Nahi dekha sahib" and those two quietly left from there. Dev was suspicious about these two. They both carried a surprised expression as soon as he showed them her picture.

"Jaldi isko nikaal yahan se. Pata Nahi Kaise pata chala in policewalo ko" rushing to Sonakshi those two had changed their mind of keeping her there. Untying her, they were going to put her in their jeep when suddenly they both heard a gunfire.
Dev stood there pointing his gun towards the 2 goons. One goon suddenly pulled out his knife and threatened to kill Sonakshi, but he did not know he was messing with someone who was a professional. Dev shot a bullet towards the goons hand , because of which his knife dropped and he was rewarded with another shot on his leg so he couldn't escape. He shot the other man as well in the leg, as he wanted to know whose hand was behind all of this. They both fell to the ground and Dev ran towards Sonakshi.
"Sonakshi! Are you alright?!"
Sonakshi could recognize this voice very well. She in an instant knew who was the owner of this voice. She had grown up listening to him, how wouldn't she? He was the one who she had dreamt of all the time. He had taken over her heart and mind. But ever since she went back to Kolkata,, she was so caught up that she didn't have any time for herself. Of ourselves she missed him daily, but she couldn't contact him in any manner because everything happened so suddenly that she couldn't even talk to him, or even say bye. There were many things she wanted to say, but she couldn't ever do so...
Dev untied her hands and eye quickly and untaped her mouth, and out of relief Sonakshi jumped onto him for her dear life.
"Dev! I did not expect you at all. Thank you so much ... I don't know how much can I be thankful today."
"Even I did not expect this to happen to you, but as soon as I came to know about this case, I took it right away"
Sonakshi couldn't believe her eyes. It was her best friend Dev who had rescued her.
"Come on! We must leave from here soon along with these goons, because as far as I know , they must've informed their leader by now and he must be on his way. Run from here now!"
The other constables carried the two goons, whereas Dev himself led Sonakshi to the jeep and they left from there.
"Dev, how did you know I was here?"
"I was at the dhaba while doing some inquiry about you, and I had an encounter with these two idiots. They both brought me to you. I followed them till here and quietly waited outside for them to bring you outside. I have learned this much about goons already. I know their every move" Dev just smiled at Sonakshi. He was at relief as he had her now with him. She just smiled back at him, not knowing what to say.
Well, finally meeting after 5 years now, there were a lot of things to be discussed and spoken to each other. But even this silence was peaceful and beautiful for them as of now. There was a lot more to come, as it was another beginning for them.
