OS: The Double Date

Here Sona went home early to get ready and reach the venue with her so called boyfriend... Sona after thinking a lot took a beautiful blue colored dress for the date. As it was Dev's favorite color. While getting ready all she was thinking was about Dev. She was getting ready for him... Hoping he'll like her in his favorite color.😳 But was equally tensed about the boy she was going to introduce as her boyfriend. Saurabh Dada has asked one of his friends to help Sona with her lie. Sona have known the boy as he had visited their house earlier with Saurabh. Lets say the boys name is Gaurav.

Gaurav came to pick Sona and Sona said sorry for troubling him for such a stupid thing. But Gaurav was ok with it. He's a well mannered, sophisticated and nice guy.

Dev got upset with the mention of her boyfriend. Where's she... Hope she's alright... Such a careless girl she is... Why is she late... He was blabbering non-stop.

Dev turned to look at the door and saw Sona entering. His face lit up and there was a broad smile on his face... Sona smiled too looking at him. Dev for the first time felt something for Sona...He was all lost in her... He was mesmerized... She was looking like a princess. Even more beautiful than the day they danced in the Young achievers party. That time too Dev was attracted towards her... But his thoughts took the back seat at the time, because of his worries and responsibilities. After that he never ever gave it a thought. She was always around him and he was happy with the fact. They were close friends now... They never spoke about their friendship with each other. But knew that they were special to each other. Dev can only speak to her about his anxieties and worries... He talks to her about anything and everything these day. By the only thought of losing her made him think what would he do without her. He just couldn't spend a day without seeing her and talking to her.. How can he live without her.☺️

Here Sona was surprised, but more than happy to see the love of her life in her favorite color. Oh my God... He's looking like a prince... The most adorable prince one can even think of. Her prince charming for the first time wore a different color and that too her favorite color. This was extremely overwhelming for her. How she wish it was only Dev and her and nobody around... Today she would have told everything she has in her heart for Dev. This was the perfect day and the perfect atmosphere.❤️ But they were with 2 other people.😕

Here Dev's smile disappeared in a second as soon as he saw Gaurav entering after Sona. Gaurav was no less. He held Sona's hand, which took Sona by surprise and made Dev all more restless. He was feeling very weird today... Not aware of whats happening to him. His only concern was who the hell is this boy with Sona. And she not even once felt the need to tell him about the guy. He was irritated.🥱

Sona and Gaurav came and Gaurav shook hand with Dev.

Gaurav: Hello Mr. Dixit... I am Gaurav... Gaurav Chatterjee... Sona's boyfriend.😕

Dev (with an unpleasant smile on his face): Hello... Dev Dixit.

Please sit... Dev was just about to move to pull a chair for Sona. But Gaurav was quick to do that first and the displeasure was visible on Dev's face. 😕

Natasha: Hi Gaurav... I am Natasha... Please to meet you.

Gaurav: Hello Natasha... Sona told me about U and Mr. Dixit. Please to meet u too.

While they were conversing Dev and Sona were busy staring at eachother. 😳And Sona has already realized that Dev was upset with her for not telling about her boyfriend... But how can she tell him before... When she only came to know about it when out of jealousy she talked about an imaginary boyfriend to Natasha. She was feeling guilty of lying to Dev. And Dev was angry.😭

Looking at Sona, Dev asked Gaurav: So Mr. Chatterjee... What do you do?😕

Gaurav: I am a Doctor too... But a Cardiac surgeon.😊

Dev: Oh... Good. And who all are there in your family?

Gaurav: Ma, Dad, my younger sister and me... And in future Sona will join our family.

Mention of Sona with his family made Dev all the more angry this time.😡

Sona was all quite because of her lie and guilt.

Natasha: Oh ho Dev... Let it be now... Lets order the food.

They ordered the food... Dev and Sona were still busy with their staring ( Who will blink first) game... And Sona coughed... Dev got worried.😲

He took a glass of water. But this time too Gaurav was the first one to act... Gaurav patted on Sona's back. Made her drink water and said... Are you ok now?😕

Dev was noticing all of it and getting jealous with each of Gaurav's gestures for Sona.😭

Sona: I am fine. Thank you.😊

She immediately looked at Dev and said: Mr. Dixit. Please don't have this dish. Its too spicy and you don't eat spicy food. Its not good for your health too. So please.😳

Gaurav and natasha were surprised how Sona takes care of even a small thing about Dev.😊

Dev too was pleasantly surprised but extremely happy too with her gesture.😳

Gaurav: And Sona you too can't eat spicy food then why did you eat that?

Dev thought i was not aware of it and he even know she can't eat spicy food.

Sona: I was just checking whether its ok for Mr. Dixit...(took a pause) i mean for you all.😳

After having the food and some conversation... Dev said lets have some ice cream and asked Sona which flavor... Pat came Gaurav's reply: Chocolate... She loves chocolate flavor.

Natasha was impressed: Well done Gaurav... You know quite a lot about Dr. Bose's personal choices.

Gaurav: Yes i do.

Gaurav's phone rang... And there was an emergency.

Gaurav: Sonakshi... There's an emergency. I have to leave immediately. Lets go. I'll drop you first and then leave for the hospital. Please.

Sorry Mr. Dixit and Natasha. There's an urgent work.

Natasha: Its ok Gaurav.

Dev: I'll drop Ms. Bose if you don't mind. You might be getting late. 😃

Gaurav: Oh. That'll be great. I should leave now. Sonakshi... Please give me call once you reach home.

Sona: Ok.

Gaurav: Ok. Bye everyone. Need to rush.

Dev canceled the ice cream order and they were on their way to home. There was an awkward silence in the car. Natasha was sitting on the front seat besides Dev and Sona was on the back seat. All the way Dev was looking at Sona through the mirror. And Sona looked tensed.

They dropped Natasha... And were about to leave. But Dev stopped the car and didn't say a word. Was just staring at Sona... He was upset and that showed on his face. Sona understood that he wants her to sit on the front seat. She immediately came out and sat on the front seat.😳

He started driving... They were not talking to eachother. Only giving glances to eachother. And today Sona was scared to confront him.😆

Finally Dev broke the ice...!

Dev: So... Ms. Bose. When did you meet your boyfriend? You told me earlier that you don't have a boyfriend. (Dev was clearly irritated).😕

Sona: Actually Mr. Dixit, we met recently. After my accident. Remember the dating app Tina downloaded on my mobile. I met him through it.🤢

Dev: Seriously Ms. Bose... Through dating app?😲 Are you crazy? How could you start dating someone you met on a dating app. And you looked uncomfortable with him.

Sona: Its ok Mr. Dixit. Gaurav is a nice guy. And we have recently started knowing eachother. We need some time to know eachother well.

Dev: Yeah... Nice guy.😡

Sona: And BTW, what do you think? Am i a kid who doesn't understand what is good for me and what bad.😆

Dev: I didn't say that.😲

Sona: But you mean it. Right?😆

Dev: Ufff... How confusing you are... Why are you fighting with me?😲

Sona: Oh ya... I am the one who's fighting and you are so innocent.😆

Dev: And when did i say that... Ok... Let it be... I am sorry.😆

A single sorry from him melted Sona.

Sona: Its ok. I m sorry too. 😊

They looked at eachother and smiled. Dev saw an ice cream vendor and asked sona.😊

Dev: Ice cream???😛

Sona: Yeah.😃

He went to get the ice cream. They parked the car and sat on the bonnet to have the ice cream. Dev was looking at Sona continuously... How cutely she was having her ice cream... Then he saw a couple having icecream from the same cone and playing around. But this time he was not irritated with them. He felt good watching them. And Sona was surprised with this change in him. But was happy looking at him.😳

They were in car the next moment.

Dev: Ms. Bose...😊

Sona: Yes Mr. Dixit...😊

Dev: Actually... You... I mean... Wo... Main... You are looking Gorgeous today. Blue color suits you a lot.❤️

Sona couldn't stop blushing. He gave her the compliment on her looks for the first time... She thought... Is it a dream Sona... Or he actually complimented me.☺️

Sona: Thank you Mr. Dixit... BTW... You are looking different today. I told you... You should try more colors... The colors suits you. You are looking more handsome in orange.❤️

Dev had a smile on his face... She complimented him.😳

Dev: These colors in my life are all because of you.😳

Sona was surprised at what he just said... She couldn't believe her ears... But it was true. He said it. And this time there was no confused expressions on his face. He mean each word of it.😳

They reached Sona's home... Sona came out and said: Thank you Mr. Dixit...!!!!😊

They looked at eachother for a long time as if they wanted to talk to eachother about their feelings... Sona was for so long trying to confess and Dev... He wanted to talk to her about this new found feelings. What is it about... And why is he feeling that way. But he couldn't gather the courage.😳

They wished eachother Gunight and Dev left.😊

On his way Dev was only thinking about Sona... Why was he feeling insecure with even the mention of her boyfriend... Why was he jealous watching him taking care of her... He thought it was only him who can take care of her like that... Why was he angry on her today... She didn't do any mistake this time... Why with the thought of her going away he is getting extremely impatient and restless... Why.

During the time of Kushal Roy... He purposely broke her marriage because he needed her for Ishwari... But while searching a groom for her on Jodi.com he rejected all the interests just because no one was good for her. Or may be because he was looking for someone like him for her... Or may be he was the one for her. He wanted someone who can take care of her like he does... But may be he didn't want anybody else in her life... And when Tina downloaded the dating app he was upset... Tina clearly asked him though whether he doesn't want Dr. Bose to date anyone. But he refused... Because he was confused... And he was not ready to accept that it was true. Today it was clear that he can't see her with anyone else... He should be the only one taking care of her and that's it. Nobody else could understand her better than him and he can't lose her.😳

She's the only one who understands his anxieties by just looking at him... She gives him the solutions to all his problems and he feels happy around her. She's his happiness. The only friend who bought the permanent solution to his insomnia... He can sleep peacefully at night without the sleeping pills all because of her. She takes care of all his worries beautifully. She was special for him... Very very special... An important part of his life.😳

Dev reached home and started pacing to and fro in his room.

He called Tina.

Tina: Sir... Is everything alright? Its past midnight. What happened?😕

Dev: Tina... I want all the information about a man... I want everything about him... Who is he... What does he do... His family background... All his habits... His past... Everything... And its urgent... I want it by tomorrow.😕

Mr. Gaurav Chatterji... Cardiac Surgeon... City hospital... You get it?😕

Tina: Ok sir... But you sound tensed... What happened?😲

Dev: Nothing. Just do as i say. Gudnight.

Here Dev was pacing in his room and there Sona was not getting sleep thinking about Dev.😊
