OS: Dev's Small Steps Towards Realization - After The Dinner Party

They had a short casual talk and Dev apologized for not able to make it to the dinner on time. Mr. Gujral though initially angry understood that Dev was stuck in some important work. He was impressed with Dev's dedication towards his work.

Here at Sona's place Elena was teasing sona singing "Hum tum ek kamre me band ho aur chaabi kho jaye".😆 She was asking Sona, what did they do all this while and Sona started blushing thinking of their talk, the way Dev held Sona's hand and how cutely he made those sandwiches for both of them. The best thing about the night was that she had the sandwiches her man made for him...😳 The one she loves more than herself was cooking for her, because she didn't had her dinner. And just because she should not feel bad, he made an excuse that even he is hungry.😳

Soon, she came back to her senses and was extremely worried for Dev. She told Elena to please leave her alone for now and elena left her room sensing the seriousness on Sona's face.

Sona started pacing in her room. God, please... This is the most important deal for Dev. I have seen him extremely tensed about it. He is spending sleepless nights because of the stress related to the deal. He so want this this deal to happen. Please nothing should go wrong because of me. The deal should get final. Else he'll be shattered and i can't see him like that. She started praying for Dev and was crying like a baby. Thinking it was all her fault.😭

After having a good time with Dev's family Mr. Gujral and Natasha goes... Dev was relieved as everything went well. Ishwari asked Dev were was he... He should have come early... Dev made an excuse that he was in some important work and couldn't come. Ishwari asked him to go and sleep as now everything is fine.

Dev went to his room... Changed to his nightwear and sat on his laptop.

Here Sona was still thinking about Dev... Finally she gathered courage and texted Dev.😊

Sona: M sorry to bother you at this time Mr. Dixit... But please tell me. The dinner with Gujrals went fine? I know, it was all my fault. Because of me you came here and got stuck. I am really sorry for the inconvinience. You should not have come here today. Its such an important deal for your business.😭

Dev: Calm down Ms. Bose... And don't feel sorry. It was my wish to come and check on you. And yes, for your information the dinner went well. Maa took care of everything very well.😊 And thank you so much for the lovely time i had today.😊

Sona after receiving the message was relieved. He's fine... This means the deal is still on. Thank you God. And she blushed on his last sentence.😳

Dev thought for a while and texted Sona once again.

Dev: Ms. Bose you were suppose to listen to all my office tensions today. But that didn't happen.😉

Sona: Oh yeah. M sorry. I forgot. Ok tell me now.😛

Dev: No no. Its ok. You should sleep now. You were not feeling well today. Take rest.😳

Sona: No Mr. Dixit. I m fine now... You can talk to me. Anyways i am not getting sleep today.😃

Dev: Its actually fine Ms. Bose. You should sleep... Seriously... I was just kidding... There's no need to discuss the stress at this point of time in night.😊

Sona: Mr. Dixit... I don't want you to take those sleeping pills today and niether want you to stay awake whole night. Tell me...!😳

Dev: Ok. (He thought for the while and wrote) Actually... Today i was feeling extremely impatient and uneasy. This deal is very important for my company. This will be the biggest merger of my life. It will take my business to a different height. I am very happy today. I wish everything goes well and the deal is signed soon.😊

Sona (a broad smile came on sona's lips after reading the message): Don't worry Mr. Dixit. Everything is fine and in future everything will go smooth too. You'll definitely crack this deal. I TRUST YOU.😳

Dev (he was overwhelmed with Sona's reply. Specially reading that she trusts him): How can you say that i'll crack the deal so easily?😊

Sona: Because i know that you have worked really hard to crack the deal and YOU ARE THE BEST.😳 Remember you told me someday back... That whatever problems good people may have to face, but at the end they get what they want and deserve. You have faced enough problems in the past. And now its the time for you to get what all you deserve.😊

Dev (He was overwhelmed with the reply. He was happy to know that she always wish good for him and she has trust on his abilities. He replied): You remember?😊

Sona: How can i forget that... Mr. Obodro was not rude to me that day and he gave me his valuable advice... I haven't stopped hoping and even you shouldn't.😆

Dev (smiled): Thank you Ms. Bose for everything. You not only take care of maa. But the whole family. And even think about the well being of my business. Thank you once again.😊

Sona (with a smile): You does the same for me and my family Mr. Dixit. Even i should thank you.😳

Dev: Ok now you should sleep. Goodnite.😊

Sona: Even you need to sleep Mr. Dixit. Who knows you might be signing the contract tomorrow. Goodnight and please sleep now.😊

Dev saw the text and smiled. He kept his mobile aside and thought of his growing friendship with Sona and he was happy to have her to listen to all that he cannot share with anyone. She has now become really special and he respects her a lot. He don't know why he wanted to share all his anxieties with her. And he was feeling relieved after talking to her. She gave him the strength and the peace of mind he was searching for years. For the first time since childhood that he was not restless and was feeling good. Dev closed his eyes and slept.😊

This was the first time that Dev had a peaceful sleep after don't know how many years. He looked like a baby while sleeping. He had that innocence on his face and an endearing smile. And this is the permanent solution Sona was telling him about. It was true... He needed someone to share all his worries with. And that someone he found in Sona...!😳

Sona was extremely happy that the love of her life shared all his anxieties with her for the first time. And she knew, she is the only one he told these things to. He never ever shared his feelings and tensions with anyone before. Sona was happy thinking atleast he consider her as a friend now, if not his lover... She was not getting sleep and was just thinking about dev and what all he did when they got locked in the house. She was blushing continuously and didn't know when she fell asleep thinking only about Dev.😳

That night Sona had the dream she wish could be true (Dream goes like):

Sona was in her nightwear... She went to Dixit residents backyard... Dev was already present their... She tried to ignore him, but he pulled her hand and she landed in his arms...😳 It was the best feeling for Sona... She could here his heartbeats and he held her tightly in his arms never wanted to leave her for a second... He wanted the time stop. He wanted her to be in his arms forever...😳 Sona got concious and broke the hug. She was shy and moved a bit apart. Dev held her hand immediately and placed it on his chest...😳 He said: Sonakshi... Can you feel my heartbeats...😳 Sona was speechless. She was surprised... First of all she couldn't believe that her Dev is expressing his feelings in such a beautiful way.😊 And secondly he called her "Sonakshi"... She always felt close to him whenever he calls her by name. Dev said: i don't know what to say and how... But i wanted to tell you... These days... my day is not complete if i don't see you... I can't get sleep if i don't talk to you... I feel like coming early from office to see you before you go... I am always eager to share all my anxieties and daily happenings with you... I don't know what should i call it... I just can't concentrate on anything else... I am thinking about you the whole day. Please help me to know what it is. Please.😳

Sona was a bit sad that he still didn't say what she wanted to hear from him and turned to leave... Sona took few steps and dev was confused, anxious... He went restless... He can't see her go... He didn't know what was happening to him... Just to see her going away made him feel that his life is ending... He was feeling helpless... It was suffocating for him. He wanted to say something... But what... As soon as he saw her going far... he couldn't hold himself...

He said: Sona... Please don't go... I can't live without you. Please Sona... You are my life... Sona was overwhelmed with his words and Dev too felt good after expressing his feelings.😳 Dev didn't how he gathered the courage to say all this... This is what going on in my mind... from how long... why didn't i realize this before... I wish i didn't hurt her with my words... Hope she didn't feel bad about it.😳

Sona turned back and went running to land in Dev's arm. This was the most intense hug...😳 They were happy... Their lives were complete today... Dev couldn't say a word more but could only feel Sona... Her curls on his face and her soothing fragrance and here Sona could feel his heart beating very fast... Dev had his world in his arms today... His companion... His love... His life...!!!😳

Sona couldn't control her feelings anymore and said: I love you Dev.😳😳

Dev felt content... He knew she too liked him... But love... He was not aware that it was love... He always used to think what is love... Why people say that love is the most beautiful thing in the world... But today he understood... He was complete today. He always thought his family is complete with his mother and 3 sisters... He never before thought that he also need someone seeing whom all his worries will vanish... He'll be happy sharing his life with her... His troubled childhood... His stories... Everything... And today she was in his arms.😳

After a bit of hesitation he said: I love u too Sona...😳 And Sona started crying... She tightened the hug. She didn't want to let it break... She was trying to say this and want him to reciprocate since long... She was longing to be in his arms... It was the best moment of her life. She was in the arms of her prince charming and she is his princess... He takes care of her like one... He's protective about her, possessive too. He gets restless seeing her in trouble... He cannot see her sad.😊

She couldn't believe he reciprocated her feelings... But it was true... Once she thought that a middle class cannot dream of a love story... But her fairytale became true... Seeing her cry Dev panicked.😳

Dev: Sona... What happened? Why are you crying? Please tell me. Did i do something wrong. I should not have said this. Right?? You felt bad??? I am sorry... Please don't cry i can't see you crying... He was almost in tears and he turned to go... Sona held his hand.😊

They had a beautiful eyelock... Their eyes were talking... Sona sensed the confusion and restlessness in Dev;s eyes... She knew he was thinking why is she crying... She said...

Sona: Dev... I didn't feel bad... This is the best moment of my life... The man i love also loves me... This is the best feeling for me in the whole wide world... I couldn't hold myself... Sorry... I didn't want to cry.😊

Dev felt happy... He held her hand and took her under the setting he had mad for her... He showered her with flowers and she was enjoying it... He was happy seeing his sunshine happy... There was no better feeling than this for him... He went close to her... They had an intense eyelock and hugged eachother... Sona was smiling in her dream and woke up with a start... The first word she uttered was Dev and started blushing.😳

Sona thought to herself... You've gone mad Sona... Tumi ekdom pagol...😆 You are dreaming about Mr. Dixit... How will you face him? You'll start behaving weird once he comes face to face... What to do... I'll avoid to come face him today... But... Mr. Obdhro was once again Mr. Awesome today...!!!!😳

Here at Dixit mansion... Dev was waiting for Sona to come... Why? He didn't know... But he wanted to meet her... He saw Kichu bhaiya and asked... When will Ms. Bose arrive... Kichu bhaiya said there's some for her to come... But today Dev couldn't wait... He was actually going crazy.😆

Dev: Ok kichu bhaiya... Once Ms. Bose comes... Ask her to meet me. I have some important thing to tell her.😊

He went to his room.

Sona was getting ready to go for work... She was going through her wardrobe and stopped at her blue kurti... She remember... Its Dev's favorite color... Still blushing she took it out to wear... For the first time she wanted to do the makeup and look best... Ofcourse... She was wearing her Mr. Right's favorite color today... She needs to look the best. She realized it was getting late and hurried left for Dev's house.

As soon as she came... Kichu bhaiya told her that Dev wants to talk to her something important... As much as she wanted to avoid the situation... But it might be something about auntyji's health. Yesterday Dev went to Dr. Sinha for auntyji's tests... She calmed herself down and went to Dev's room with coffee in her hand. Dev was looking at his wardrobe when Sona knocked at the door. Dev turned and was mesmerized by Sona's beauty... She was looking gorgeous today... He couldn't take his eyes of her... This is the third time after seeing her in saree and the party that he is mesmerized by her beauty. And may be because this is the third time he has noticed her that way... But the first time it showed on his face.😳

Sona: Mr. Dixit... Kichu bhaiya said you want to talk to me?

Dev came out of his thoughts: Beautiful... (Sona's eyes were wide open hearing it) I mean... Yes Ms. Bose... He took 2 blue shirts and asked.

Dev: which shirt?

Sona was a bit surprised with the question but said: Both are blue Mr. Dixit...😆 You'll look good in anything you wear... But...😊

Dev: But??😲

Sona: You should try more colors.

Dev: But i have only Blue, white and black shirts.😆

Sona: Ok... Then you can wear anything from them... I told you my thoughts.

Dev: Ok... Btw... What's your favorite color?

Sona: Its orange. And she goes blushing...

There no orange color... Dev called Tina and asked her to send an orange colored shirt immediately to his home. Tina was surprised.

Tina: Sir orange... I mean are u sure?? Orange.😲

Dev: Ofcourse Tina do as i say.😆

Tina though surprised smiled and said ok sir.

After sometimes the parcel arrived and Dev took it to his room immediately. He had to meet Natasha for breakfast today. He got ready... But wanted to show the shirt to Sona.😳

He went to the kitchen to have water... Sona was writing today's diet plan for ishwari auntyji... He purposely made some sound to grab her attention. She saw him and was totally shocked...😲 She couldn't believe her eyes... Is he actually Mr. Dixit she thought. Dev smiled looking at her.😊

And she was happy he wore her favorite color. He was looking damn handsome... She smiled back and he was confirmed that he is looking good today. Sona couldn't stop blushing since yesterday... First they got locked in her house... Then their night talks... Her morning dream... And now this... Everything was just perfect.😳

Dev went to the hall and riya, nikki and ishwari were shocked to see him.😆

Riya: Orange shirt.😲

Nikki: Bhaiya are u ok??😆

Dev went to ishwari took her blessings and went out smiling.

All the way he was thinking about Sona... How mesmerizing she was looking today... Their talks at the night... How she said that she trusts him. And he reached the restaurant.😊

Here natasha was surprised to see Drv in orange.

They sat on a table and were ordering the breakfast...!

Natasha: Green apple juice for me... And black coffee for him. Right Dev?

Dev still lost in thoughts.

Natasha: Dev??? Black coffee??

Dev: No... Bring any fresh juice... Wait... Orange juice for me.😉

Dev to Natasha: Whats your favorite color?

Natasha: Not orange ofcourse. Its blue.

Dev: Orange is a nice color. And many people like it... And now its my favorite color too... He started drinking the orange juice and smiled looking at it thinking about Sona.😳

He has started defending his lady's choices now... He's always thinking about her... She is filling his life with colors... He has started being happy and lively and he feels good about it... He can sleep peacefully now... She's bringing the much needed balance in his life... And he has started thinking about his own life now. She's special to him and he is realizing it with each passing day.😳

And here Sona is having black coffee thinking about Dev... Now Dev has started feeling for Sona... And he only need to realize that its love.😳
