What does Obdrow actually mean?
I am not Bengali, so I don't know what it means.
Anyone out there who knows?

Au-Bhodro (Mannerless)
Bhadra is also a hindi (perhaps Sanskrit) word adding A makes it Non Bhadra .. Au-Bhodro is bengali version of same word.

Itz abhadro, means mannerless. Bhadra(well mannered, chivalrous )actually a sanskrit word, incorporated in bengali vocabulary. By the way, the way she pronounces it is entirely wrong. In fact most of the bengali lines, words uttered by the casts are terrible. They should stop showing fake authenticity and carry on conversing in Hindi only. It horrified poor bengali audience like us.lol

Although the actors are not speaking Bengali correctly, I don't think it is actually THAT bad. Considering many of the actors don't speak Bengali and per the show they need to speak some, I think it's forgivable. Erica (Sonakshi) can speak Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Telugu, so we should forgive her Bengali. 😊

Thanks for asking this! I was wondering this myself!

Tbh, I actually don't like the way Erica says it. It just sounds so weird and forced when she says it. I'd rather she'd just say Mr. Rude or whatever. Honestly, the actress who plays the mother of Sonakshi comes across as the most authentic, in terms of being bengali.
