Kolangal Feb15th Update

Anandi comes to meet an editor of a magazine,she tells him about her willing to write up an article on meenaka and further tells him that there is a lot of loop holes on how meenaka has become such a leading person and further says no articles on meenaka has been published in any of the tamil magazine.he asks her if she has approached any other magazine she says she did,but nobody is willing to publish it as they are scared of the consequences..editor tells her he will publish the article and asks her to start her job..

CID officer Ganjendra with his assistant comes to inspector tilla's house for an enquiry with his wife..they ask her q's and she answers in such a way that ex-minister shankarapandi is involvled.She request him to help her get the dues from the government.Inspector leaves from her house.The new goon friend(i dont know remember his name) comes with the gun pointing at thilla's daughter and tells her that she has done as asksed by him..he tells her that he is good as long people are good to him.he gives her some money and asks her not to worry about the child's education as he will take care of it and leaves from there.

A realtor speaks to his friend and says that a particular land meenaka is buying and is ready to settle the amount in a single payment and that she will be in another half an hour before she comes they want to have a cup of tea.all these is heard by the mysterious man who pretens to be an coblar,he takes the gun and is already to shoot meenaka.Tholz and shanthi's daughter walk down tholz asks her what she wants be when she grows up,she tells him that she wants to be PoliceInspector,tholz has flashback of shanthi and angusami being killed by thilla and tells her she shouldnt take revenge on anybody.Kid tells him that she doesnt want revenge on anybody but wants to be a sincere officer.tholz appreciates her and as they walk her slippers gets torn.he says they will get it mended and they apporach the mystery guy who acts as an coblar.As he gives the sandal tholz gets a call and speaks and he doesnt see him,the man gets shocked and he tries to run from that place.kid sees it and tells tholz,he tries to stop him but he runs away from there leaving his bag behind.tholz sees the bag and is shocked to see his mom's photo and all the articles published in meenaka's name.

February 18^th update

Alams pay a visit to Gujju mami n co and make some drama there by cursing and yelling at KKK for wanting a man at that age and talk badly about Abhi n co. Anu is irritated and Rekhs join with Alams and talks like gujju mami was some great woman and Kkk was after money. Alams talks badly about Mano and how he seduce the daughter of this house only for the moneys sake, Rekha pull more the fire, Anu scold Rekha for drag her as she has no right and should mind her own business 😆and tell Alams to only see Gujju mani and not bother to talk other stuff. 😆Rekha leaves in anger while Alams brainwash Anu that there is way to cure her mother by going to a amman temple. 🤢Anu is ready to do whatever and want to bring her baby, but Alams lies as no kids are allowed there. When Anu goes to get ready, she call up someone and make a plan. ( I am sure they are going to kidnap Anu and blackmail Abhi return the land papers. What a stupid girl Anu is for believing Alams…😡)

Anandhi arrives to Menus place for an interview, before she can go upstairs to Elisabeth rani…I mean Menu , she has to go through some stupid security things. Menu welcome her as Anandhi Eshwarmoorthi..Anandhi doesn't want her to call by that and tell to refer her as Anandhi. Menu praise her, she remember her that day from the demonstration she made regarding the land matter and both she and her sisters are very strong and straightforward. Anandhi remind Elisabeth maharani not to waste her valuable time on talking personal things and do the interview soon..😆Now Menu replies back..she only fixed an interview with Anandhi just to meet her, she have no intention to give her any interveiw.😡.infact she have never given any interview to any newspapers or magazine. Big papers like Daily mirror, NY times etc have tried so many things, but still she have not given so they just google stuff about her and write it as she have given them interview. Anandhi can also do the same and her paper will be more popular and get benefits of it..Anandhi is irritated and says she only writes true things to their readers, and leaves..but before she leave..she say come "pazhamozhi" which hits Menu very hard.

On her way out, she sees a man trying to meet Menu and make a scene, she runs up to her and shout at her. Just cause she threw him out of her LA project, no one is willing to give him any job and its all cause of her..only he knows her dirty secrets and how she become so rich. Anandhi is downstairs and spy on what's going on upstairs. Menu scold him and in anger kick on his belly, and behave like a goon while her security starts to beat him and she after a few minutes tell them to stop and threw that man away. Anandhi runs outside and hide,,,when they have threw that man, she goes to help him up and she make him sits on his car and drive the car as per that mans request…FREEZE

February 19th update

Alams brings Anu to temple, she sees kids there and ask Alams why she couldn't bring her kid with her? Alams lies and blame those woman's to not know anything ..it's a big Samy kuttam. 😆They prays while Alams sneaks away and meet a man whom she talked with earlier on. She ask that mans opinion about Anu? He says she is looking okay, Alams is happy and want her money soon.🤢 She goes back to Anu and tell her to pray for her wished to get fulfilled, little nut Anu wonder why she should pray for Alams wishes..but Alams somehow convince her and ask her to wait for her near the car, she will come soon. (Alams is so cheap.🤢)

Anu goes and stands near the car while that man sees her and goes to talk with her. He starts to ask wherever she have prayed and that she looks good, he come here to pray so he can get a girl to marry😆..Anu is irritated but wish him all the best..he mentions he seen that girl and its none other than Anu.😆 Any freaks out and start to shout at him, he remind her that she should be happy someone is willing to marry her again, after her first marriage fiasco. Anu start to hit him and takes out her chappals…public surround around them but that guy says his intention was good ..he wanted to give a life to Anu. 😆Tholz who pass by there sees Anu and come to her rescue and beat up that guy who finally says that lady who come with Anu told him about Anu. Tholz ask Anu who she come with and she says Alams..tholz is not surprised and ask why Anu cant follow his advice when she listen to Alams and come here…she agrees to listen. ( I guess he will tell her to reunite with Mano, that loser boy🤢...but whatever happend with Anu was deserved for her..she has a big ego and thimiru😡)

Anandhi and the editor waits for that drunken guy to wake up who got beaten up at Menus house. She and editor wonder what kind of relation he has with Menu and why she left him go instead of finish him. That guy wakes up and thanks them for coming to his rescue. He introduce himself as John , he is a former worker of Menu and knows her every well. They ask about his relation with Menu and why he behaved like that with a big business woman like her..he laughs and ask what business..its thank to him she is still alive, he saved her from dying but all he got back was nothing. Menu reached to that high place by cheating, frauds and making others peoples life as a hell. Many families have got destroyed by her..she is a evil person and tell her story in a muted scenes.. Anandhi records his statement on tape-recorder. ( I guess a rift between Tholz and Anandhi will occur cause of the matter she is gonna write about…I don't trust this man so well…he may tell the truth but he most have done something, otherwise why will Menu threw him away who saved her life??? 😕)

Krishnan sir brings looser boy Mano to Tholz house, Mano refuse to go inside as he cant stand Tholz but Krishnan sir convince him so they both goes inside…FREEZE (what the heck think Mano of himself, he is the biggest loser so should keep his ugly mouth quiet😡, I guess Tholz will convince Mano and Anu to get back to each other😕 )

February 20^th and 21^st update

Tholz meets Mano and want him to listen out - Mano is not willing but somehow Tholz convince him. He gives him a lecture about married life and how he and Anu should fix their problems by talking with each other. Mano blame Anu, she is the the one who have decide to remove him from her life. Tholz says Anu is there and Mano is shocked to see her there. Tholz goes away so they both can talk.

Anu tells her part of the story, when she waked up after giving birth to their daughter, she was looking for him, but her brother and mother told her Mano come there and she tried many times to call him up, but he never attended her calls. Mano tell his part, how they all insulted him and his family at the hospital and never allowed him to meet her. The limit was when she agreed to remarry, Anu wonder how he could believe that, she loved him and lived him and they have a daughter. She would never ever thought about that, she would have lived her rest of her live with his memory and the kid alone, she loves him that much etc. They hugs each other and says people played games with them. Tholz shows up and give them a big lecture, both of them believed other peoples but never contacted each other or talked directly with each other and that created a rift between them.

Anandhi shows at Menus house and want her version of the story she have heard about her. Menu as usual tease her and made fun out of Anandhi who keep her head cool. She finally decide to give it back to Menu by showing her proof of her cheating, tricks and cheap tactics to reach the top place in business world by creating fakes companies to get money from the World bank and how she brought intelligent workers from her rivals companies to win, infact in US, she had problems as people started to know about her cheap tricks and started to lose the good name she used have…that's why she shifted her company and everything to India to escape from there. Menu is pissed and shout, how dare you talk like that to me, when you cant even be compared to my level or status ( my foot…what status) Anandhi says she only do her job, infact she is a honest journalist, that's why she wanted her version..Anandhi show some files and after reading that Menu gets mad and order Anandhi not to write that..otherwise she wont have her hands to write etc. Anandhi gives her a damn look and leaves..downstairs..Menus PA, security and workers are in shcok while our Anandhi walks away with her victory smile…after she is gone..Menu comes down and we hear a male voice tell Meno about not having any sentiments in to archive your goal..until you reach that place, don't think about wrong/ rights bla bla..we should only think about our goal and think about the horrible past you had…take a lesson from that and move on.

Mano and Anu are at her house, she talks to Gujju mami who looks like a zoombie..she is gratefull to Gujju mami, if it was not for her, then she doesn't know what would have hapend with her..she gave her a good life and she feels sad to leave her, but she has to do that. Rekha who listen to that, tease her that Gujju mami wont understand what Anu talks and she sees Mano and aks what Anu have done now. Mano tell her to shut up, as long as she doesn't interfere their life will be good and says they are back togther. Little rowdy is shocked and says Adhi wont leave them if he gets to know that, Anu tell of Rekha as its none of her business. She goes to pack her things, while Adhi returns back. He sees Mano and get wild, shout at him to get out and takes the kid away from him and push him out. Anu come there and stop him. Tell him to get his hand out of her hubbys shirt, Adhi wonder if she is mad and what Mano did to her in the past. Anu says she knows very well her brother and hubby. Just cause he wanted to get back on Abhi, he played games with her and Manos life, she go tto know how selfishly person he is that day Usha told his dirty secrets, so she have decide to go with her hubby. Adho tries to stop and curse her, she will come back to him very soon as she cant be with Mano and his gang.

Hissyboy looks at his mum and says everyone leaves one by one, but he will be there for his mum. He will take care of her like a child and goes up while little rowdy gives one of her evil smile.

Mano brings his wife and kid back to his home, everyone is happy and he apologize to Abhi and other for his rude behaviour. Abhi says there is no need as they all love him and care about him and glad he finally brought his wife and kid. She wants Mano and Anu to go to another house, she have seen a house and will find a job for him. Mano wonder why, he thought they have forgave him. She says it has nothing with that to do, she is doing this for his own good, he should start to take responsible, he is married and has a kid, so its time for him to learn about the life, until now he have been irresponsible and has been defended on his family but never stood on his own foot. She is sure Anu will agree with her cause they need privacy also and they won't get it here, KKK tries to intefere as she doesn't like that idea of getting separate with her granddaughter, but Abhi says she can always sees that kid whenever she want by visiting them or they come here.

After everyone is gone, Mano ask Anu what she thinks, she says Abhi is doing that to get back on them, they have been useless follow with no job and defended on her so now she saw a right chance to chase him away. Mano doesn't think so , but Anu say she knows how Abhi is, she talks like a sweet honey, but inside she wanted to get ride of them. 😡They should show them all, esp his Abhi sister by living very well in front her. ( hmm…still that thandasoru hasn't change…Anu is such a mango head, when will she start to think good of other who want her and her useless hubby to have a good life…such a losers…) FREEZE

( friends, I tries my best to give updates for Kolangal whenever I can, its not easy to write updates for many shows…please..if u guys see no updates then please try to post the highlights at least if you don't want to write a long one, whenever you guys can…it will be really appreciated by us…😛)

Menu's oily face is hanging as posters - "Veli naattu
Thozhil Adhibar Menaka vin Darbar ambalam -
Velichathuku varatha veli naattu mangai" - some odd
fellow calls her an "Hindi actress" and "semai kattai"
and our iron man gets to see the poster. He is angry and
and throws his fist in the air!! Hissy boy visits "mam" and
expresses his shock on this issue. Menu is very angry and
talks in her false accent ( kodumai kodumai ennru
kovilukku ponaal ange rendu kodumai jinggu jinggnu
aadithaam - hearing Menu's accent hissy boy puts on
his own!!) Menu shouts at hissy saying that it is HIS
SISTER Aanandhi who is behind this and can not forgive
Aadhi for being so slow. She says that he should have
known about this before her and nipped it much before
it was made public. Aadhi tries to tell her that Aanandhi
and co are his arch enemies but Menu points out that
however much he wants to refute, it is a fact that they
are his sisters. Recalls as to how Abi made a scene on
the day of her arrival in the project site. Hissy wants
some more time but Menu says that his time is over -
"Amezica le izhunthu ellarrum kooptu ennai kekkranga,
I am so ashamed" - Hissy storms out promising to take
care of this. Menu fumes some more looking at the poster.

Anu is buying some thing in a shop and some eve teasers
are commenting " pattaiyai kilapputhuda, semai kattai,
namba area le..." Anu rushes home and Mano is relaxing
( !!! athu sari, avaru ennkki velai kku poirukkar??? shop
kku poga kooda wife ai anuppi ttu Srirangam Ranganathar
pose le jolly aa padukkaii!! hmmm) Anu shouts at Mano
about the area and finds fault with Abi for making them live
in such a place -" they live in a big house in a safe area
and she has sent us here" - Mano defends (???!!)Abi
saying that she will do her best for them and asks Anu not
to go on abusing Abi. Krishnan enters with a reco letter
from Abi and informs Mano that he has come to take him
to a prospective employer. Mano tells Anu that Abi will
always do good to them and goes with Krishnan -" kaile
appointment order oda varen, ok?" Anu is still kadu kadu...

Aadhi visits Achamillai magazine office with Giri in tow -
storms in to the Editor's room. Editor politely welcomes hissy.
Hissy is in a frenzy and so hisses more - "kaile u have a
pen and paper nna, u will write what ever u want??? Do u
know who Menaka mam is??? She is doing this MM city
project in a big way and u write all false stories about her???
Editor is cool - he says that he will just inform the public
about what needs to be informed and that is the privilege/duty
of theFourth Estate. He also says that they have all the proof
they need about Menu and will carry some pictures as well.
Hissy being the business man tries to bargain "for the first
time in my life, I am prepared to pay more than the deserving
price, how many crores for your paper?? and do u know that
Aanandhi and Abi are "oru vagaiyil my sisters" - they are
out to take revenge on me because of business enmity?'
Editor hears all this with patience and replies that
he knows every thing -" Aanandhi has told me the whole
background. She is an honest reporter and we shall carry our
article, u can go and fly kite" Aadhi is back to his own self ,
starts threatening the editor "if u do not listen me..... u do not
know what u are in for, I will give u just 5 mins to think and u
better think right, even this is because I am concerned about
you" Editor thanks him for his concern, does not want to waste
5 mins of hissy's precious time and shows him the door..Hissy
hisses like a "rajanagam" and leaves. Giri does a Mary's
lamb act. Editor looks at the camera ..... thoughtful.....

Folks I know that Meli is busy and the update schedule
says Niti - who is away - I have no idea about who is to
update but thought of stepping in for the sake of Niti and
Meli. Hope I am not stamping on any body's toes!! if
anyone is unhappy about my intrusion, pls feel free to
let me know - and Meli, if the regular up-dater updates,
pls remove my post, Ok?? 😃

Monday 25/2/08

Aanandhi's house - a whole load of her fellow reporters
are hounding her for some news on her forth coming
article on Menu. She refuses to leak out any info saying
that no reporter will disclose such details and that they
all have to wait for just a day. Hissy boy arrives with his
tail Giri. The reporters hound him and hissy hisses a
"no comments". Goes in to the house and tries to woo
OQ with his sweet talking. Goes to work on OQ's psyche.
amma, pls control Aanandhi. The article she has written
is a time bomb. Menu is a powerful lady and she can do
anything to Aanandhi." OQ panics and hissy sees slight
victory. Aaanandhi and Rajendran watch the fun. Hissy
goes on to say that his enmity with Abi is all gone and
what ever said and done Aanandhi is his sister and he
does not want her hurt ( dey Aadhi, summa solla koodathu,
thalai yale thanni kudikka ready aagittiya??) OQ does
a slight vik vik ( intha Aanadhi irukkum pothu azhutha no
use.. Abi than athukkellam layakku, na azhutha odane
erangi varuvaa hmmmm, ithuvum my daughter than but...)
and asks Aanandhi" enna mma, ennamO solli mirattala
pesaran". Aanandhi shoo shoos - " ippo enna puthusa
sister nnu kathai vidaraan, ellam summa" Aadhi again
explains Menu's powers and Aanandhi is all set to face
the power. Hissy now loses his cool and bingo..... thozhar
arrives. Does his usual Tamizh lectures and irritates all of
us. Aadhi throws a final warning to OQ -" sorry ma, i gave
a chance and your daughter threw it off, i can do nothing"
- he leaves and the rest smile. Of course OQ kneads her
hands and all set to cry if given a chance (Roja scoots,
ayyo, ippo than Megs oru round katti oppari session kudutha,
not here again!!) Thozhar praises Aanandhi for her bravery
and gives us the info of Thols and Abi being away at Bombay.

Krishnan takes Mano for a job. that is a hard ware store
and the owner wants Mano to take care of the accounts.
Though it is none of his business, he expresses his surprise
at Abi sending her bro here for a job which needs only an
eighth standard qualification. Mano decides not to accept
the job and tells the owner so. Owner is worried about Abi
getting angry but Mano promises to take care of that. Mano
goes out , wipes his tears and leaves.

Aadhi arrives at Menu's place - of course with Giri in tow
Menu is loitering a la Kaikeyi - viricha thalai, oily face ..
works... - her PA calls hissy to report to her. Hissy orders
Giri to stay downstairs " nee vara vendam Giri, she is
going to blast me and I better be alone with her" - goes up
with his head hanging down. Tries to narrate his efforts
" antha Abbi kitte, I had challenged that i will never call
her akka. But I called Aanandhi sister today.. just for u...
begged her, threatened her, threatened that editor
Ramswamy also.... pst pst.. no use" Menu of course knows
that he has failed and Aadhi expresses surprise at how
Menu knew this even before he came here -" your face
Aadhi, face. that tells me volumes. uh huh, just by the flick
of my little finger, I have dealt with far worser issues, un
kitte intha job ai uduthene, i am a fool" ( if u know so well
that he can do nothing why did u send him??? does that
mean that u were scared to face Aanandhi??) Aadhi asks
for some more time and this flares Menu darling no end
" che, are u a school boy?? for ever asking for time???
get out, I will deal with this myself" Hissy tries to appeal
again but she shows him the exit. Hissy escapes
( habba pothum da samy, aalai vitta sari - Roja's lines😳)
Menu frowns at the camera ..... looks a sight...... ghost
mathiri irukku ( Roja does not want to see her when it
is dark!!!)

Short Update : 2/26/2008. Such a boring episode today...
Scene 1: I missed most of the part but it is about the chittappa blabbering about the Menka story written by Anandhi to all the reporters.
Scene 2: Mano returning home with a long face of not getting the BILL COLLECTOR job 😭... Anu adding oil to the fire saying don't believe your Abi sister... and do accept the job which will downgrade our dignity and presitge.....
Scene 3: Chittappa going to Anandhi house and trying to get a peak of what Anandhi is having in store about Menaka..... she just shuts her ears and go inside to have dinner.. hopefully the OPPARI QUEEN made some food 😉 Then chittappa asks that rajendara mama to get one or 2 papers from Anandhi's story... and he is saying that he will give 10,000 Rs to him.... This guy goes in and gets a paper and gives to him...
SCENE OF THE DAY 👏
Chittappa calls a press meet and giving all sorts of talk like a arasiyal vadhi ... all the reporters are irritated to the core.... Finally he gets to read the paper and it says some receipe details.... all the reporters just hit him to the core and leaves chitappa alone....

February 27th update

Today's episode was only a big dragging…let me short that into a brief one…

Thozhar and his friends praise Anandhi for her sincerity and her story about Menu. Anandhi say she only did that to bring the truth out, not cause of personal motives. She learn Thozhar used to have a press office earlier on. ( I guess he will be useful for Anandhi later on…why…well..see below)

Fake iron man who is after Menu gets up eralry on the mronginh just to get the lastets ussie of "Aachamillai" paper with Menus story…he is not happy after reading that.

Menu work on her laptop, her PA comes with the lastest issue. Mneu wonder wherever he have read that, he said no, not before she have read that..she want her PS to read..PA is shocked.

Hissyboy walsk in tension here and there..Giri ties to cool him down. Hissyboy is upset cause he couldn't do what Menu wanted..of many entrepreneur in Chennai..she choose him and now he feels she will look down at him. Watchman come with the latest issue…Giri read that and woder how is this possible??

Anandhi with Tholzhars group..they celebrate with sweets…one of them man come with the issue…thozhar read it and are upset over how she could write this..Anandhi is confused and read it..her story is changed and only good things about Menu are written there..she is upset and wonder how that happened. They figure out Menu have done something and call up the editor who doesn't respond.

She go to the office only to find out, somebody else have brought the office and the name is changed. former workers are also shocked and doesn't know what happened. Editor call Anandhi and want her to meet him on a address. She leaves. FREEZE

Hi all

I will give the update for today.

Continued from yesterday, Anandi goes to meet Ramaswamy at the location he said. She comes to that home where she finds a car outside. The home looks big.

She demands how these things happened. She asks how you were sold. Ramaswamy tells,"I am an honest reporter and I myself don't know how these things happened. I will never be sold. In that situation, I will commit suicide." He tells what happened.

That night Menaka came to meet him at his home which was the same building as his office. She made her stooges wait outside and entered to meet him alone. Before that there was a soliloquy of herself, admiring this editor. She tells him,"I accept that whatever you are going to write is truth and I did those things. But you must consider this point. There are lot of people making crimes in this world. But they are not reported because they are done by males. But if a female does something, even if she crushes an ant, that female is branded. That is what is happening on me. But I don't regret what I did and I will continue in that way. Whoever is on my path, I will put down that person. That is the business ethics in USA. It is only being started in India. what is wrong in that? If it is your daughter in this position, would you admire that or will you tell everything bad on her" The editor tells he is doing his job and says it is a girl who wrote this piece. Then she tells,"So because you were an honest journalist, you couldn't give the right treatment to your wife who is ill for the last thirty yrs. I can bring the best doctors for you in a minute and cure your wife. So because you are doing a social work, you are ignoring your family duty. I can give you any amount of money. And you adopt me as a daughter. I am fully capable of bringing you down by filing a defamation case on me" His wife tells,"Even if my daughter comes to me to treat me and thus bribes my husband, I will decline that treatment. I will die rather than see my husband bought." Ramaswamy tells,"You have heard what she says. That is my strength." Menaka disgustedly tells,"So I will do what I have to and prove that Menaka is Menaka." She walks off.

The editor tells an assistant that the journal is proof read. The magazines are loaded in a truck for distribution and the truck has started.

Ramaswamy tells this is what I know. But what happened later, I don't know. Anandi tells we can complain to the police on what happened. The editor says it is not going to help as it would boomerang on us. He says,"I am helpless now and I have left this profession." He goes inside and shuts of the door. Anandi is seen thinking. [FREEZE]

Meli, I know that u have some problem here in updates.
Isaitamil uploads late these days and the time zone
issue is a great killer!!! Am sure that I did step on

my update.

Recap of Aanandhi confronting the editor. But he still
refuses that he caved in. He says that he stayed behind
to proof read, print and then load in to the van -" I got
back home only after that!!! I do not know what happened
after that??!!!" (athellam sari veedu epdi maathiniga???
athukku no explanation??!!) Oily Menu explains the rest
of the mystery to hissy and group. " I went and negotiated
with that old man, offered him crores, miscalculated that he
will be happy to make easy money in his old age but he proved
me wrong. I do not believe that there is only one solution to
any problem. As I was getting back home, I got another idea"
- The van with the magazine is stopped in the middle of the
road. A few rowdies confront the driver and ask him to ex-
change the bundles. The driver talks about ethics and feels
bad to engage in such an activity. But the rowdies threaten
him with death and exchange the bundles. Warn the driver that
the news should be known only when the paper is distributed.
The driver goes off with the fake newspaper. The rowdies call
some one and report the successful completion. He in turn
calls Menu and gloats. Menu orders him to burn the original
papers and we see a bonfire. Menu happily narrates the incident
and Aadhi is dumb struck. Hissy admires that she not only got
out of her trouble but managed to wreck the editor's life as well.
"Now , his paper has lost its credibility!!" Menu pities the
editor " I gave him a chance to make money but he threw it
away. I had to punish him, no other go!!"Hissy tells her that
he wants to stay close and learn every thing from her. But
Menu says that he should look around himself and know
what is going on. Menu goes to do her work and hissy is
in awe "Menaka, Menaka, u are unbelievable"

Aanandhi at home - OQ consoles her. " appove hissy vanthu
sonnan, nee than kekkaliye, pona porathu vidu" Aanandhi is
fuming " I had done so much of work and got her nailed but
Menu escaped so easily??" Aanandhi says that if she had a
paper of her own, such things won't happen. Viswananthan
asks her to contact that John again but she says that his
cell is switched off. Rajendran offers his expert opinion
saying that why should she trouble herself to expose some
one?? Aanandhi says that it is her duty and asks maama
to shut up. Chithappa comes and goes on an advice mode.
" U should have made a deal with Menu and got the money
out of her" Aanandhi is angry but chiths goes on. Rajendran
says some thing which gets answered by Chiths - OQ has no
clue about this verbal war. Aanandhi chases Chiths and laments
that even her own people can not fathom her troubles. OQ
understands and says that her grandfather was like Aanandhi
"Oorukku nallathu seyyarennu, kadal mathiri iruntha
sothai karichuttar, athan unnai parthu enakku bayama
irukku ( athu sari, kadal mathiri sothu than illiye, why worry?)
OQ finally warns all to keep this away from Abi when she
comes back-" she has enough head ache as it is, ok?" -
all disperse.

Menu and Jenny in the garden - a folk singer is singing
a folk song. Menu and Jenny enjoy that.. Hissy comes and
sits by Menu's side. Menu gives the singer a wad of notes
and tells him that he should keep singing -"rain or shine,
no stopping , ok??" Singer happily accepts the lottery and
leaves. Menu wonders about hissy's vsit. Hissy is surprised
that a Western (??!!!) woman like Menu can appreciate folk
that too Tamil??? Menu certifies that the best music in the
world is Tamil folk and she is crazy about that music!! Asks
hissy about his music preference and hissy says that he too
loves music, especially Tamil folk!!! Menu is also surprised
like us-" since when??" Hissy says that he fell in love with
Tamil folk from that minute " Ungalukku pidichathu ellame
enakkum pidikkum" Menu advises that at least in such things
he should have some thing of his own -" don't copy me and
I do not like it". Menu leaves with Jenny and hissy is alone
" Menaka, unakku pidichathu than enakku pidikkum, kashtam
than aanaalum I will learn Tamil folk music. I will make sure
that u start liking what ever I like..." sings "sivantha nethiyile......"
and moves.
