Well said, Roja. Such sacrificial acts are usually the genesis of marital collapse. A marriage that begins as a concession to society isn't built on strong foundations. Btw, didn't this Priya woman have a boyfriend? By stepping in to marry her himself, isn't Poobalan creating more unhappiness? Couldn't he have forced the lover boy to tie the knot? Or is that boy a scoundrel? Sorry, I've missed some episodes and haven't been reading this thread regularly, especially since Meli's update posts are all "members only" posts, which I cannot access from my official notebook, which I work from most of the time.

Agree about Madhu's strange appearance at strange places. What's most galling is that he shamelessly reappears at Arjun's house time and again to advise Nethra even after he has been thrown out unceremoniously.
