faizal, agree with you, i am losing interest rapidly too.. there are so many unanswered questions - SO MANY threads that are hanging... we are starting to loose track, really..

I can think of all these threads going on currently some active some really dormant -
- rajani murder case
- upendra's whereabouts
- usha's pregnancy
- rekha's decision to marry or not
- ishwar's identity to abhi's family
- bhaskar's knowledge about ishwar's identity
- bhaskar's attai and son's role
- arti's wedding woes
- anandi's office and romance
- adi's sister (the naughty one) - her antics
- arjun's reformment
- sivadasa's romance angle
- the new bhaskar and abhi getting back together angle
- ishwar tryign to get abhi married
- Dr Mahesh

I can't tolerate this serial anymore. What is going on? Arathy is silent, abhi says sorry to bhaskar. It must be bhaskar who should say sorry- and now listen to abhi's explanation- she is the reason for this problem, it is not- it is bhaskar's stupid ness or egotism or arrogance. No body has the right to jump into conclusions without listening to the whole matter. Nonsense- why is this arathy mum- I am really fed up.

you are right Anajana - it is getting out of hand.. three particular things that are happening are totally unacceptable in this day and age

1) Abhi acting as if Bhaskar did nothing wrong adn acting as if she might forgive him and get back with him
2) Usha not bothered about her feelings and about Adi's character adn trying to get back with him inpsite of everything
3) Arati behaving in this childish and disgusting manner

Why the hell is this Aarthy not talking anything? Utter non-sense. If she doesnt like to live there, better get out of the house and stay alone in hostel or something. Why on earth does she have to create scenes?!! This serial always has somethings like this which is irritating right from beginning. It is difficult to tolerate scenes where someone is always dominating and one party is always submissive. Abhi is doing that now. 😡

But Hey, Anjana.. hope you will not stop watching.. i absolutely depend on your updates for this serial... may be it will pick up some exictement soon!!

Now the problem is that I can't concentrate, sometimes the dialogues are so irritating and that is the reason why I am missing certain super(supposed to be so ) dialogues delivered by the great abhi.
I actually began watching this serial hoping that this is a story of an ambitious woman, who irrespective of all the odds and failures and problems in life emerges as a winner. I was really attracted by the initial dubbed episodes which is now telecasted in our Malayalam channel, so out of my curiosity I found out the timings in sun tv and began watching it and much to my surprise the story hasn't advanced further though in episode number the sun tv version is far ahead.
But there is no hint of such a turning point. The main characters and her loved ones are creating or jumping into more and more problems as if in a chain reaction.
Why should arathy be silent? She has got so many options in life- her family will definitely support her if they come to know the truth. Or even if they don't she is now having scholarships and she can study as much as she want, without any help from anyone. I agree with u sudha, nobody in this present age wont don't such things- now in this serial I feel it is anandhi's character who is practical- she behaves as a normal real life person- though she is shown as a short tempered person- but according to me her behaviour is normal.

yeah anjana i agree with you. they all seem to be getting deeper and deeper into their mire of problems cos nobody answers questions when they are hurt or unhappy. the whole serial is beginning to bore. ippo ellam purumaiye illai. i simply watch the friday episode and i am updated about the weeks happennings. not that much has happened during the week 😆 your updates are far more interesting reading than actually watching the serial flooded with ads! cheers for the good work 👏

i totally accept that kolangal suppose to be about a ambitious woman and her success in this male dominated part of world (india)

i am a male myself, i have started watching this serial not too long ago propably about 10 months ago, it was awesome then but these days Mr.Thols seems to be running out of stock in his main floor.

let me tell you all, kolangal will kept on dragging atleast minimum another year with all those unanswered dragging BS. i may stop watching kolangal for another few months but that wont stop me reading Anjana_pi's daily update, remember what i told you guys/gals earlier that i am hooked to this damn kolangal.

and for future, i will watch myself not to get hooked to any other serial so deeply like this 'irritating'kolangal. 😡

Jasunap, I agree with you completely. Anjana's updates are far more interesting than watching the serial. Anjana you give us the cool and important bits and we are lucky enuf to read it unadulterated by rubbish jabberings of lakalaka and similar people :-)

I do wish the makers of this serial take a look at our forum posts adn see how all of us are getting irritated by the way the story is going.

I also started to watch this serial for exactly the same reason as Anjana, thinking it will be interesting to watch a single woman beat the odds and come up successful in today's tamil society.

But they are potraying the modern tamil woman as a hard working career woman with the same old traditional views of 'kallanalum kannavan' rubbish which is incomprehensible to me.

I am afraid that serials like this, whcih are watched by folks every single night, might brainwash people into thinking that the values potrayed by Abhi are what we should aim for in life.

I think the directors and even actors such as Devayani who have plenty of clout, have a MORAL RESPONSIBILITY to help advance societal thinking and promote good behaviour and responsible living.

If Abhi returns to Bhaskar, it goes to show that whatever a man does is okay, however great the woman is, she is still inferior to the man and so on.

Well, I think our discussion is more interesting than the serial.

Is there anything to be discussed? Is there anything that is left back? Twists and twists- let the fairy tale of twists continue- let us wait and see what is going to happen next- let us wait for more murders, more illegal affairs, more and more problems. now who is left back without a problem- now we will discuss who's life can be made complicated. go away solutions- we want problems.

And finally one fine day, we can see the serial disappearing all of a sudden because of low ratings.
