A temple visit sparks controversy!

Little did Sarath and Radhika knew that their customary visit to the Kollur Moogambika temple would spark a row and add fuel to the already burning Hogenakkal issue and the subsequent violence unleashed towards the Tamil speaking people in Karnataka. Discontented murmurs are abuzz in Kollywood circles following Sarath's visit and his

participation in the golden-chariot tugging ceremony at a time when relationship between the two states is far from affable. The couple recently flew to Mangalore and drove to Kollur where they tendered offerings to the Devi Moogambika.

However, Sarath and Radhika weren't free from the prying eyes of journalists and were subjected to a few inevitable questions. Sarath stated that he was a regular devotee of Moogambika and there wasn't any special reason for the visit apart from the fact that it's festival time at the temple.

"It's only habitual to pray and tender offerings to God before starting out with a new venture," he mentioned without revealing what he was starting out with. He also stated that he prayed for the wellbeing of Tamils. While answering for a few posers he said that there are no leaders in the central and state government who address the issues of people in Tamil Nadu.

The whole Hogenakkal issue are getting out of control, one things is to have different opinions in politics, but visiting a temple is also a big controversy?? My ghosh....

some journalists leave their brains at home when they report for work. honestly.. is it such a HUGE issue if the president of the kollywood nadigar sangam visits a temple in karnataka?

very soon these moronic wonders of karnataka will create a problem with this visit & maybe tamilians will be forbidden to visit temples in karnataka. i wish these people will just shut up about this issue & find better things to occupy their time with.

what? they actually put a ban of rajinikant to enter karnataka?? gosh.. are these people for real?? rajinikant didn't want to bite the hand that fed him so he took TN's side in this issue. in the end he has become a villian for the karnataka politicians.

exactly CL. no tamilian has ever raised fingers on karnataka politicians visiting temples in TN. then why are these karnataka reporters so nosy as to question sarathkumar's intentions in visiting that particular temple in karnataka?

why do people visit temples? to pray of course. someone please install brains in these reporter's heads. they are seriously in need of some.
