According to sources, she wants to change her image but this doesn't mean that the damsel would try her hand in glamour. Her resolution not to act glamorously hasn't changed. But she wants to change her image by taking up different and challenging roles that require meticulous work rather than just sporting pleasant looks. 'Jeyam Kondaan', Bhavana's next film has given her the opportunity. She plays the role of a basketball player in the movie. She is practicing the game to make the portrayal a credible one. Her meticulous practice of the game has made her look like a professional player, say the insiders. Bhavana acts opposite Vinay in 'Jeyam Kondaan', directed by Kannan. Lekha Washington, the 'Kettavan' girl acts as the sister of Vinay.

bhavana is right in a sense. an actress needs versatility in her roles & it would be good for bhavana to be known as a character actress than a cotton candy actress.😛

anyway bhavana is not suited for glamourous roles. she lacks the 'X' factor & the figure for it. if she wants to be a glamour girl, she needs to shed at least 10 kgs & change her makeup artist.

then again.. i think there's no need for her to do all that since she's already made a place for herself in the hearts of the audiences without the help of glamour. bhavs just needs to act well & charm people with her cute heartmelting smile and twinkling eyes.😳😳

I agree Leena, she wont fit glams roles...but she suits bubbly, cute, girl next door image, but I dont want her to do such kind repeatly like Asin does 🤢

she has talent and scope to act if she choose her projects carefully 😉

I hope in Bhavana stand in this, this will change the concept of directors - that actresses are meant for duet songs and giggly action.

Maybe this will pave way for other actresses to bring out the talents in them.

Let's leave the glamourous roles to Trisha, Nameetha and the likes because this is what they are good at.

But then again Bhavana should at least try one glamourous role, just to prove to others that she can rock away. 😊

meli, bhavana has at least tried to vary the roles she does. she did play a totally different arrogant villi in 'aarya' after all.👏👏 unlike asin who has been stuck in the same stereotypical good girl role for god knows how long.😆

glamour isn't bhavana's forte. i would like her to do a glam girl role, only & ONLY if she sheds some weight. i don't want people to point fingers at her & critisise her.

one thing i must say about bhavs is that she's an amazing dancer despite being on the heavy side. in aarya, she totally overshadowed madhavan in the song sequences.👏😆😆

Sorry, Jiggs. My personal opinion - she has the figure to do a glamour role. People who criticise her body figure should take a good look at themselves and that is what I feel. 😛

omigosh- bhavana is GORGEOUS!!!! i think she's soo adorable but can also be sultry and do glamourous roles if she wants to...i just hope she won't do anything that degrades her and i trust that she won't..she's done 'the girl next door' image for far too long..and i really feel she's very sweet as an actress as well as a person..but if she wants 2 be more versatile in her acting and change it up i certainly think she is MORE than capable of doing so...she is 1 of my fave actresses and also 1 of the prettiest women in india- definitely!! 👏
