Lately I cant find a single good thing abt him...not just the gun...all of it...all his actions r so condemning...specially his reaction after finding geetu dead...he did not care at all that his goura(like he keeps saying) is DEAD...does not think of her at all and growing feelings for chamki...I mean seriously? lately he is everyone's puppet..his parents, chamki...I can take grey..even dark...what I cant take is male leads I like loosing their spine and courage...

Dont know why..but I really liked Abhi from the start...thought he was a my kind of grey male lead..hate how they hv ruined the character..

Even I'm not liking the way they are dealing with Abhimanyu's character..i guess it's the genre of the show making them do it.. I think it will get better & there is definitely more to see from Abhimanyu's character..everything can still be justified if the writer is good!! About growing feelings for chamki it's not chamki character but Gaura soul he will fall in love with..his soul is already attracted to her soul & despite of whatever Abhi did Gaura soul too feels it!

Yes abhi's definition of right n wrong changes according to situation n his family..

When it's about others it's wrong n when there is question of his own then it's right..

Such selfish n disgusting man..

Thanks.
Yes, Abhi is no hero. Hope CVs don't try to make one out of him.

@bold - we would never know that, would we. Before he could pull the trigger, Gaura fell down dead.
The reason he didn't kill her long time ago was bcoz he wanted to see Rishabh suffer watch Gitu go crazy.
Killing someone is cruelty.
Torturing someone till death is saddistic cruelty.

Yeah, That would redeem him to some extent. Didn't his father say he would gladly have Abhi go behind bars after killing their dushman. Go ahead, and be a Rajput.

Mentally harassing someone is also a crime. Everybody knew and saw that how Geetanjali was sent to the mental asylum and Rishabh, Rajveer, Khushi and Sevakram can easily give statements being eye-witnesses of what all happened with Geetanjali.
Let's see, the police seems to be in the plan. Hope for once, one serial shows how police actually tackle cases, rather than show them as dumbheads. There's a legal case too coming up as per the inspector. Its been a long time, i haven't seen a proper court scene.
There is no true meaning to being remorseful if it's just for words but nothing for actions. Inke khaali peeli ke regret ka kya hum achaar daalen 🤔
CVs should first show where Abhi stands and then start with his redemption. Just a few words of his remorse sound quite hollow.

I wanted to justify him too...wanted him to not be totally bad...truth be told I wud still be glad if they cud justify him without ruining any other character unnecessarily...but at this point dont see any reasons that will justify all his sins...So u might as well give up on him like I have...

What justification does Abhi have?
Revenge for his sister - Then according to him, Rishabh was the culprit not Gitu.
Revenge for his parents - He took a stand for Chamki, tried to convince his parents about her. A girl whom he met a few days ago.Shouldn't he have done the same in case of Gitanjali, who loved him more than anyone else.
Was he being blackmailed?
Was he being brainwashed?

Even I don't see any reason for justification. Unless they're gonna show he came clean with Gitu long before and they've both together hatched this turning mad and murder plan to rat out the real culprit.

Couldn't have agreed more😊

His sense of right and wrong seems to have gone long back...right from the time he started this disgusting revenge drama😡

Also, when he says he has gone down in his own eyes after what he did to his wife...what relevance does this hold now...if he is really feeling guilty, then he should rather leave this haveli with his family and leave Rishabh alone...atleast he would be living in peace...but NO...He is here...right here..to make his life miserable...ultimately the fact is...according to him, his revenge is over...he sent Geetu to asylum and now she is dead

Thanks.

@bold - exactly. If their motive was revenge, why do they want the property and haveli. Why not send Rishabh to jail for murder of Ragini and Abhi for murder of Gitanjali.

what I hv seen is in TV shows male leads are not meant to be perfect & that's what makes it interesting..if both male & female lead are perfect then what's the fun? it will turn into a boring saas bahu family drama..

Holding gun was not a big deal - Agreed.
Whether he would've been able to shoot her or not can be debated. He gladly put Chamki's life in danger to assure himself that she was not Gitanjali.
More than running away, he didn't show any emotion or felt sorrow over her death. He was trying to save his own ass.
@bold - yeah, male leads start off as intelligent and smart and turn into dumbass, where as female leads are turned into Devis. No one is asking for Abhi to be perfect. We're only pointing out his imperfections.
