Correct me if I am wrong, Farhan Akhtar did came to Season 1 but Javed Akhtar hasn't came nor Shabana Azmi. Was it interesting to see them 3 all together?
Farhan (Akhtar) was for very little time on show, he should have been
on the show from beginning till completion of the episode. He is immensely attractive and unique to say the least, and i was left longing for more of him, too little of too good a thing . Karan should have called him when he is well , he was unwell but made it to the show anyhow.
Were you disappointing and thought combination wasn't interesting? If yes, name the other guests who could had come instead of Shabana Azmi or Javed Akhtar.
Its not "instead", but its "along side" for me. I liked Javed Saab and Shabana and hearing to them . But i would like same with Farhan Akhtar and his wife. If you notice Farhan has been on show before, but we never really got to know him personally anywhere. First he came with hrithik and the focus was on Hrithik( and i thought farhan answered better than hrithik and deserved the hamper) and question asked to farhan even were only limited to professional things ), then farhan was brought as a judge and focus was on bachhans...but where is the episode where Farhan is of utmost importance and in focus and which gives us scope to know him intimately, if hrithik can come with wife suzzane then why not farhan with wife for an episode talking about his own marriage ( are you listening karan johar?) like every guest did some time...we hear a lot of empty gossip about every one in bollywood but no one knows the private side of Farhan and i wished karan brought him with his wife and let us know more about the very interesting and unexplored hot shot and hottest Farhan.
Does Farhan has any bitter feelings for Shabana as she is his Step-Mother?
Farhan is too much a open, big minded and liberal person
for such things, he is beautifully secular and admirably humble too, very understanding , thanks to the parents and near ones that instilled
such great values and mental make up in him. Javed was always there for the children and shabana was warm and frenly, his mom honey never let him or sister zoya develop an y bitter feelings for their father or shabana. Farhan and zoya recently collected money for shabana's cause and charit y ( he himself is into charity) in kbc, farhan's wife adhuna styles shabana's hair and they are just like family and frens having positivity towards each other.
Having said that i would also say Farhan must have in some point of time felt deep fellow feeling for his own mom, which is natural and desired. Now all have moved past a period of initial confusion and hurt . Farhan said he grew up amongst poets, artists, scholars, liberal and understanding people which made a part of what he is today, very special he is himself , but the mindset and value system was helped and enriched by the great upbringing.
How would you describe Javed Akhtar-Farhan's relationship.
Very nice👏 and worthy of being followed by fathers and sons and parents and children.
Here is a relationship not of fear or distance where parents are authority figure and we are bound to obey them against wish and killing our individually or just for heck of it nor its where children disrespect parents. Its of mutual respect and of admiration and of camaraderie.
If every parent understood what javed jee does that there are certain things which the children and young generation knows better and some which the wise old saga, then there would be no generation gap or conflict of interests.

Only Javed Saab and Shabana talked primarily, and Javed saab was witty and made a point more, of course all of them, shabana, javed, farhan are very talented and witty when it comes to it.

F A R H A N . 😳He looked smashing, manly and extremely handsome which he always is in the maroon long sleeve jacket and head full of lush luxuriant hair and sexy black boots. Be it looks , or fashion he of course is best, he is a fashion icon who sports cool hair dos and get ups also he is damn hot, endearing and very very very good looking, gorgeous, STYLISH, sweet and attractive, personified.
Any fashion Advice?
Nothing as such, shabana jee would look even better and appropriate with an attire formal, polite, exquisite and matured for the occasion, may be a saree, but certainly there was no lacuna.
Over all Rate the Episode.
I would cut marks on two accounts
1) Farhan for so little time
2) Nothing interesting asked to him (Farhan) and about him, he is not equal to don movie though he made it, there is lot more to him, personally for sure, even professionally and koffee with karan is supposed to explore a person beyond his profession .
Else great guests and great show, and substantial conversation.
