Is Rakhi Sawant a Joke?

No Karan Johar episode can be complete without a degrading reference or question about Rakhi Sawant... Does he think he is being really funny by questioning his guests on Rakhi Sawant... All sorts of things - what if u were to cast rakhi in your film, what if she said this to u, what if she did this - and then he bursts laughing weirdly😕 I could still understand if it was done once or twice, but it is almost a certainty with him now... It is a very mean thing to do and probably is the worst virtue to have fun on someone else's expense... You might have had 3 hits to your name, but dont forget she is also an achiever, and also she has made her way from the most humble begining and not had the luxury of her dad's legacy and money as you have... So please start respecting her or at least stop having a dig at her - he looks foolish...

Respect to you smallwonder for posting such a comment, disregarding the fact that was cast in Main Hoon Na with his best friend SRK. I don't think anyone (but ofcourse the tabloids and media, who give themselves the unprecedented right to judge and criticize celebrities lives) to make a joke out of someone like that, and this has been consistent since season one. No one is perfect, and definitely Karan shouldn't be the one setting the standards. The whole industry has its faults. To pin point one person all the time and turn them into a subject of mockery is simply classless..at the beginning maybe it was funny but not anymore. It reveals a lot about Karan's personality which should be somewhat setting the standard for hardworking film makers that excel in their work by being different and sincere , not by being gossip "queens"

The only movie i liked of Karan johar was Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. After that he had lost his charm as a director. But i don't like how he makes fun of whose are not their friends. Karan should be fair. With Kokona, ritesh he was asking their link ups but the ones who are his friends he never ask such personal question nor make fun. I am glad Mallika sherawat said i know karan what u were involving last season. Rakhi sawant isn't a bad person. She's very down to earth and i really liked her in Big boss. I got to know real rakhi sawant and i hope today he won't be making fun of her.

What one says and does speaks a lot of the persons real mind and his line of thought and in totality of his personality.

Karan may wanna seem honest but at best, he seems a man who has fun at other's expense, which to say the least is loathful and downright disgusting....

i don't always like what rakhi does or says ... but i love that she doesn't care whether or not anyone likes what she says and does ... that's commendable 👏
karan really should stop with the rakhi jokes ... at the same time part of the blame should be put on the script writers/research team/question writers - whoever they are as last season it was mallika sherawat and now its rakhi sawant ... they're always just looking for a new name to put into the degrading remarks that they think we'll find funny😕

Yes I agree completely. I do not like Rakhi but I respect her for her honesty and for being so open about who she is. It is not easy to show your real true self to everyone, so hat's off to Rakhi...at least she's not a hypocrite, unlike most "stars".
I do not know why Karan makes fun of her in every episode. Seems like he gets a kick out of doing that. Last season he did the same thing with Mallika Sherawat. I remember reading one of his interviews in which he said that "success turns me on" and that he doesn't care for people like Rakhi Sawant and Vivek Oberoi because they weren't as successful as him. I thought it was extremely mean of him to say that. I think he himself has forgotten that he too was a nobody before KKHH happened and that KKHH would never have happened had he not been the son of a certain Mr. Yash Johar, who was so well respected in the film fraternity. At least Rakhi and Mallika have come up without any sugar daddies and Karan should respect them for that.

exactly last season it was mallika sherawat and now its rakhi sawant. next season it will be somebody else, there is a vindictive streak in karan which is sugar-coated but vindictive all the same.

thereis nothing wrong with being frank - Farah Khan is very frank but never has she said things to make a big joke out of someone. karan encourages his guests to be mean about certain people I like it when his plan fails and instead the guests praise the person in question...

for example last season k-jo asked abhishek his views on mallika sherawat and abhishek said she's doing a fantastic job

when did karan made fun of vivek or mean to him?
