As Predicted , Karan-Prannoy Launch New Entertainment Channel

As we had told you , last month end , " Karan and Prannoy Roy were expected to address a joint press conference in Delhi on 27th March , to announce details about their new entertainment channel , but it now seems that the announcement may have to wait for now " , the expected anouncement came today .

Karan Johar , along with Prannoy Roy and ex-Star CEO Sameer Nair , broke the news about a new entertainment channel , in partnership with NDTV , in Delhi today .

Sameer Nair will lead the channel called NDTV-Imagine Ltd. Speaking on the occasion Prannoy Roy, Chairman, NDTV expressed his happiness at having Sameer Nair on-board . While on Karan , he will be the creative consultant and the ambassador of the NDTV brand.

The channel is expected on air , early next year .

Wow tfs. I think this channel will do very well. Samir Nair was a great asset to Star, and both Prannoy Roy and Karan Johar are also very capable people. I think this will be one channel to watch out for.
