I agree without the gigantic ship "titanic" the movie was nothing, because the rich girl falling for a poor boy that too when she is already engaged to another man has been the storyline for many Indian films since ages that is why I found nothing so interesting about the movie...if it's the love story you want to see..go and rent any indian movie...

and overhyped is correct, Titanic was a descent movie it was not something extraordinary or spellbinding..and 11 oscars is a bit outrageous!😕

I agree with her too! It was over-hyped and sadly I did watch it for that reason ( hey I was little, and now that I look back it the R rated scenes shocked the crap out of me at that time..I hope ur mother doesnt make u watch a titanic at young age...kinda sketchy)! Anyhoo. It was an "okay" movie...nothing so great about it that it got 11 oscar nominations...I mean seriously! But atleast it gave us a Leonardo diCaprio and a Kate Winslet..so no complaints I guess 😆
