why kofee with karan in english???

Guys,

can anybody comment on this 😳 . Why this show is in english. This is the first time i am watching, and koffee with karan is in ENGLISH? 😕 😕 😕. I am watching it becoz my friend recommended this one of the good shows. No offense to anyone, but i thought this is an indian show so it was supposed to be in hindi 😳 😆 😛 , but anyways once again no hard feelings was just shocked . What other shows on indian tv comes in english? this is all new for me 😕

well that will be something useful for me. As i dont know a word of hindi and i dont speak hindi at all. My best friend has told me abt this show.

haan bhai, aaj kal angrezi bolna ek status quo ho gaya hai

but then again, many of the actors cant speak hindi fluently....(yes yes there is the arguement that theyre acting in bollywood so...)...and sometimes it isnt just the NRIs, sometimes it's celebs for whom hindi is not their mother tongue

like say, if i were to go to india and give an interview (ahahaha, im a star!! ROFL)...i would give it in english

why? well, my mother tongue is punjabi, and i speak that fluently...but with hindi, i understand it and all...lekin, to speak it fluently in an interview would be harder...i mean learnin lines is one thing, but sayin stuff on the spot is quite another

also, since many non-indians also watch shows like this, and others who do not understand hindi....well, it's for them as well

See, we cannot say that they should speak Hindi, and the audience should be able to know what they're on about...because there are other languages beside for hindi that exist in our country...and yeh....like i love watching HK movies...but one wouldnt expect me to also understand thge interviews coz i watch the movies with subtitles 😆

that's why i luv akshay kumar even more...coz he usually gives his interviews in hindi, and he has given full interviews in punjabi! 👏😉

so yeh, there are many many reasons on why people are switchin to english...it's just easier that way😆

itz not new ..i mean ..in a few yrz i bet ull c indian showz in English...i mena if u watch b4u ...u will c tht the showz r allll in English,,,i guess itz the new dashion to talk in English!!

ohhhhhhhh, well I like to see things in hindi otherwise you lose connection with it becoz this is the only way for me to keep up with the mother tongue(as some people coin it 😉 ) otherwise it becomes hard to speak, correct?----well speaking in english is very good very very very good but then it also scares you that we are moving away from our culture and mother tongue but anyways i dont want any arguments on this topic 😉, but it was just funny for me to see suddenly all in ENGLISH when i was expecting some hindi words 😳 , All english serials in english and hindi shows in english , lolz its just funny, I need a break 😆 ....I dont watch hindi serials neither I am a maniac. I also didnt know that india has started these shows in english 😳 but thanks for your opinion guys....

P.S. I watch hindi movies with subtitles ONLY when they are rushing through dialogues or when they speak verrrrrrrry hard hindi 😆 😆 😆

I think its coz it telecasted in star world.. all the programs in star world is in english rit... nd I think Karan and also all the stars (mst of them) are more comfortable chatting in English...

yeah .. since the show was being aired on star world it had to be in an international language ...
