Even though Chetan is shooting, the actor looks forward to coming back home to spend time with Ethen.

"A chilled-out dude," is how Chetan describes him. When it comes to parenting, Chetan cannot stop gushing over how much effort Lavinia puts into being a doting mother.

"As a guy, I have to say that watching everything Lavinia does has made me realise how amazing moms are," he says. Besides feeding and taking care of him, Lavinia is patiently waiting to hear the first words out his mouth. "I can't wait for him to say mama," she says.

How long does it take you to change a nappy?

Exactly half a minute. I think diapers take more time than nappies.

How many times does Ethen feed everyday?

We feed him approximately nine to 10 times a day.

How many hours does he sleep daily?

For the last few days, he has been sleeping from 10.30 in the night till 6 am. If he's hungry, he might wake up in the night. Throughout the day, he wakes up for his feeds, then dozes off for a while.

What makes him laugh?

He loves funny sounds, especially the ones Lavinia makes. I also think he finds my hair really funny, because every time I shake my head, he starts giggling.

What makes him cry?

He gets really cranky when he's hungry. I, too, wouldn't keep shut until I was fed.

What soap does he bathe with?

Johnson's baby soap.

At what age do babies talk?

It varies, but on an average, I think when they are eight to nine months old.

When do they start walking?

I think before the baby turns a year old.

When should you take him for his first inoculation?

We have already started giving him his shots. The doctor tells us when to come and get it done, on regular intervals.

What's the first word you want to hear from him?

I want him to say "mama", because that would make Lavinia really happy.

Depending on his hunger, I can say nine to 10 times.

Initially, he would wake up in the night. Now, he sleeps like a good boy. His sleeping habits are very regular now.

What makes him laugh?

He loves nursery rhymes, especially Baa baa black sheep. But his favourite is Twinkle twinkle little star, which Chetan sings to him. I let him sing it because it brings a smile to Ethen's face.

What makes him cry?

He hardly cries. It's only during his maalish and bath that he cries, or when he's hungry. Otherwise, he's a very good boy.

I keep talking to him like am having a conversation with any adult. I think it takes around eight to nine months for babies to talk.

When do they start walking?

It can be anywhere between 10 to 11 months. Again, it changes from baby to baby.

When should you take him for his first inoculation?

Ethen has already had his polio shots, and we are going to be following the instructions given by our doctor.

What's the first word you want to hear from him?

It would be a special moment to hear "mama" from him.
